Chapter 647: Ten Thousand Tribes

Luo Feng fell silent.

Gazing out of the spaceship into the boundless expanse of the void, a sense of awe surged within him. He imagined how the elder members of the Golden-Horned Race, at the level of Cosmic Sovereigns, had annihilated all obstacles in the void, forcefully carving out vast spatial regions. Countless Immortal Gods built lands within their divine kingdoms, while an even greater number of World Kings created their own terrestrial worlds. Together, they had forged this vast continent.

What an awe-inspiring vision!

“Senior Ci Fanqi, how large is the Rasoa World?” Luo Feng asked.

“It is three billion kilometers thick, and its terrestrial diameter spans 2.1 light-years,” Senior Ci Fanqi replied proudly.

“Will this world never disintegrate?” Luo Feng asked softly.

It wasn’t as simple as merely gathering enough landmasses to form a massive continent. Just as an extremely massive planet would collapse, potentially forming a black hole. Though the cosmic laws within secret realms were not as strict, it was still no easy feat to build at will.

“The Rasoa World itself is a weapon,” Senior Ci Fanqi smiled. “In fact, in the normal cosmic starfields, you must have seen some vast lands before. For example, the headquarters of the Virtual Universe Company.”

Luo Feng nodded.

“These super-terrestrial lands, especially those vast lands in normal cosmic starfields, are all man-made. None of them were formed through natural cosmic evolution,” Ci Fanqi continued. “As for secret realms of the cosmos—though such places are full of wonders and occasionally contain massive landmasses, constructing such vast lands is still extremely difficult.”

“Therefore!”

“In the cosmos, a popular and widespread method is to craft continents using the techniques of forging weapons. This ensures the continent’s structure remains perfectly balanced and stable, allowing it to exist eternally,” Ci Fanqi explained. “In theory, back then, the countless World Kings from the Ten-Thousand Tribes should have been fully capable of forging a massive landmass. Yet why did the Immortal Gods of the Ten-Thousand Tribes have to intervene? It was precisely because of the need for ‘weaponry.'”

Luo Feng was momentarily speechless.

Forging a weapon to stabilize the continent’s structure?

The Yimo Starship continued to approach the Rasoa World.

“Beep.”

“Access confirmed.” A signal was directly transmitted into the Yimo Starship.

Luo Feng glanced at the signal displayed on the control console and turned to Senior Ci Fanqi, who smiled and said, “No worries, I’ll handle it.”

Flash!

Senior Ci Fanqi vanished from the Yimo Starship and appeared in the void outside. He then released his Immortal power into the Rasoa continent.

“Teleportation, truly amazing—it completely bypasses the ship’s defenses,” Luo Feng mused. “Even with the strongest defenses, a spaceship is useless against teleportation.”

“Unless the ship can block spatial fluctuations,” Dylan murmured.

Flash!

Senior Ci Fanqi reappeared inside the control room.

“Now we may enter the Rasoa World without being attacked,” Ci Fanqi said with a smile. “If we were aboard our previous ship, which was registered in the defense system, this wouldn’t have been necessary. However, that ship’s speed pales in comparison to yours. When we first received our mission, it took nearly a year of travel through the dark universe aboard that ship.”

Luo Feng chuckled.

Even the Yimo Starship owned by Hu Yanbo in his time was far slower than this one. It was only after modifications by the Virtual Universe Company that his current ship had become so fast.

Such technology was strictly limited even among humans.

Let alone among these vassal races.

The Yimo Starship entered the Rasoa World and continued its flight.

Looking down through the ship’s viewport, one could see vast grasslands, forests, mountains, rivers, and oceans. But more prevalent were the icy landscapes. Most regions were extremely cold, with thick snow covering even the land.

“Because the Golden-Horned Race prefers much lower temperatures than humans, the world was constructed accordingly,” Senior Ci Fanqi stood in the control room, pointing outwards. Through the external visual display, it felt as if they were hovering in the void, gazing down at the world below.

“That is the Hydrogen Tribe, a mid-tier tribe, with dozens of Immortal Gods,” Ci Fanqi pointed toward clusters of fortress-like dwellings below.

“A mid-tier tribe?” Luo Feng asked curiously. “What about the Tawen Tribe?”

“The Tawen Tribe is a high-tier tribe!” Kashna, standing behind Luo Feng, declared proudly. “Your Highness, our Tawen Tribe is a mighty high-tier tribe, far stronger than the Hydrogen Tribe. We even have two King-Grade Immortal Gods in our tribe, while the Hydrogen Tribe probably doesn’t have even one.”

Luo Feng inhaled sharply.

He had heard before about the existence of the Ten-Thousand Tribes.

If a single tribe could be this powerful, how mighty would ten thousand be?

“How many tribes are there in total, and how are they ranked?” Luo Feng asked.

“Back when we first migrated here, there were ten thousand tribes,” Ci Fanqi smiled. “As for now, it’s hard to say. Some tribes have declined or fragmented, while others have risen anew. The Rasoa World is simply too vast to know for certain. As for rankings… tribes are divided into lower-tier, mid-tier, high-tier, and the highest rank—the Elder Tribes.”

“Elder Tribes?” Luo Feng’s eyes lit up. “Tribes with Elders?”

“No,” Ci Fanqi replied. “Rather, the top ten tribes are granted the honor of being called Elder Tribes. Only the top ten hold this title. For countless eons, there have always been exactly ten Elder Tribes. And each of these ten Elder Tribes has an Elder from the Elder Council stationed within it. That is the privilege of the Elder Tribes.”

Luo Feng was secretly astonished, as was Dylan.

By that reckoning…

There were at least ten Elders!

“Never would I have thought that the strongest force within the territory of the Qianwu Galactic Kingdom would not be the Qianwu Monarch himself, but rather a hidden alien race within the domain,” Luo Feng mused.

“Haha, surprised?” Ci Fanqi shook his head. “There’s no need to be. The true strength of the human race lies within the five giants: the Virtual Universe Company, the Axe Battle Arena, the First Galactic Bank, the Star River Bank, and the Cosmic Mercenary Alliance. As for the 1008 Galactic Kingdoms—they are merely tools for governing ordinary humans. The reason why humans are a peak race is precisely because of their overwhelming military might.”

Luo Feng nodded.

He had no doubt about that. Conquering an Origin Universe was no small feat.

To command so many vassal races, one must possess immense power.

The Yimo Starship continued its high-altitude flight, passing over mountains and icy seas. After more than ten days of travel, it finally arrived.

The Tawen Tribe had been reached!

That night, the Tawen Tribe held a grand welcoming banquet for Luo Feng, specially preparing human-favored delicacies.

“Prince Luo Feng of the human race, I toast you!”

“Thank you.”

Luo Feng raised his glass, drinking with the gathered Immortal Gods. Observing the massive crowd, he couldn’t help but feel astonished.

From conversation, he learned that the Tawen Tribe had two King-Grade Immortal Gods (the Chief and Ci Fanqi), twelve Marquis-Grade Immortal Gods, hundreds of Immortal Gods, tens of thousands of World Kings, hundreds of thousands of Domain Lords, and over ten million Cosmic Lords. Yet the entire tribe’s population was only around one billion—less than the population of China alone.

A single tribe, with a population of one billion, yet possessing over ten million Cosmic Lords.

“Indeed, the difference between alien races and humans is vast,” Luo Feng mused.

“Amazed by the high proportion of powerful individuals in our race?” Senior Ci Fanqi, seated opposite Luo Feng, smiled. “Every human friend who visits us is usually amazed by this. But you should consider… the sheer number and reproductive capacity of humans is astounding. Our race, by contrast, is few in number.”

A high-tier race with only one billion individuals.

With ten thousand tribes combined, how many beings could there be?

A single human star system might already surpass that in population. A single galactic kingdom could contain hundreds of millions of star systems.

“The cosmos is always fair,” Ci Fanqi said. “Races with vast populations have a lower proportion of powerful individuals, while those with smaller populations have a higher proportion. Take the upper-tier star beasts—each adult is at least a World King, with extraordinary innate secret techniques! Or the Zerg Queens—few in number, yet each immensely powerful. And the territory humans occupy is vast, producing far more geniuses and powerful beings than our race.”

“Territory?” Luo Feng asked, puzzled.

“Luofeng!” A loud, powerful voice rang out as a muscular man, his body glowing with a bluish hue, like forged steel, approached.

“Chief!” Luo Feng quickly stood.

“I have already written a personal letter. Later, Senior Ci Fanqi will carry it with you to the Holy City,” the Chief’s eyes blazed like lightning, his voice booming. “With our tribe’s endorsement and Senior Ci Fanqi personally accompanying you, the Elder stationed in the Holy City should grant you the privilege. You will be allowed to study the Sacred Pillars.”

“That would be truly appreciated,” Luo Feng smiled.

“Haha… You are a friend of our Tawen Tribe. No need for thanks,” the Chief laughed heartily.

Luo Feng smiled and raised his glass.

The entire Tawen Tribe showed immense enthusiasm and respect toward the humans who visited them. Ordinary humans were not even qualified to come here. Those who were invited were either peerless geniuses, those with powerful backgrounds, or high-ranking officials.

After staying in the Tawen Tribe for two days,

Luo Feng, Dylan, five World Kings, Senior Ci Fanqi, and Kashna, the Chief’s son who was accompanying them for fun, boarded the Yimo Starship and departed for the Holy City.

“The Holy City is the core and sacred land of our Golden-Horned Race,” Ci Fanqi explained. “It gathers the finest geniuses of our race. These geniuses and powerful beings constantly compete and battle one another. Many powerful experts have also established sects and taken disciples there.”

“And the Sacred Pillars are located at the very heart of the Holy City,” Ci Fanqi added. “All sects in the Holy City belong to the great lineage of Hierodo.”

Whoosh!

The Yimo Starship streaked across the sky like a flash, rapidly heading toward the core of the Golden-Horned Race—the Holy City.
