Chapter 16: Annihilation Spell

Qianye found this noble vampire rather peculiar. Although he only displayed a strength of around level four or five, his combat skills and reflexes far surpassed those of a high-ranking vampire warrior.

Recalling the two vampire warriors who had died by his hands, Qianye faintly sensed that this upper-rank vampire might be in the same situation—his power somehow suppressed for unknown reasons. The other party should at least be a Blood Knight, possibly even an eighth-level Baron.

However, Qianye was still waiting, biding his time for Wilde to let his guard down.

Seeing that the situation was under control, Wilde finally breathed a sigh of relief and smiled, “Miss Yuetong, now that the situation is set, you cannot even escape! If you are willing to surrender and persuade your father to give up resistance, then His Lordship, the Viscount, will be very pleased and offer you a rather good position. Perhaps Viscountess would suit you? But…”

Wilde’s face suddenly turned grim, his voice cold, “But if you do not cooperate, then sending your corpse back to your father will suffice. And at that time, I cannot guarantee what they will do to you. You know, our black-furred friends have a deep hatred for vampires. They are capable of anything. Even as a corpse, you won’t escape their treatment! I think our friends don’t mind whether you’re dead or alive. Perhaps you can wait for reinforcements, like that little guy at the second level…”

Yuetong’s fingertips trembled slightly, clearly extremely angry. She averted her gaze, her face full of contempt, unwilling to say another word to Wilde.

Her eyes swept around, searching for a possible escape route. However, the black giant wolves and vampire warriors blocked all paths. With the blood chain shackles locking her, she couldn’t outrun these vicious four-legged beasts.

Wilde looked at Yuetong with satisfaction, his gaze roaming over her body. Even by vampire standards, Yuetong had breathtaking charm. She also possessed a natural seductive ability, no wonder even the cold-blooded and ambitious Viscount took a fancy to her, disregarding the risk of future revenge and wanting to make her his own.

“Perhaps it would be best if she resisted to the end, then maybe I’ll have a chance to taste her…” Wilde stroked his chin, lost in thought.

At that moment, a sharp wolf howl jolted Wilde out of his reverie! He immediately felt a surge of danger, his instincts screaming, driving him almost mad!

Wilde instinctively turned his head towards the source of the danger, his body already beginning to dodge.

In the corner of his eye, a blinding silver flash grew larger and larger!

It was a silver light!

The thing vampires hated most was silver. A silver light in the dark usually meant the worst. As soon as Wilde saw the silver, he instinctively dove forward, not having time to think about where the attack came from.

In an instant, Wilde felt as if a giant hammer had struck his leg, launching him into the air, while his right leg immediately went numb.

Buried in the garbage, Qianye watched through the scope as a silver flame exploded, then Wilde’s right leg detached from his body, soaring into the air, sizzling and quickly enveloped in a layer of black gas. Wilde himself tumbled in the air, blasted skyward by the impact.

The shot did not miss, but Wilde’s reaction was incredibly fast, managing to dodge the fatal point in that impossible split second. From his combat skills alone, he was at least a Baron.

The power of the demystifying silver bullet exceeded Qianye’s imagination. Had it hit the body, it would have instantly killed Wilde with its “heavy-duty warhead” augmentation.

Without time for regret, Qianye quickly loaded the second demystifying silver bullet, his eyes never leaving the scope. When the loading was complete, the crosshairs were already aimed at Wilde’s landing spot. This extreme reloading, aiming, and shooting technique was the result of countless hours of rigorous training.

As Wilde crashed to the ground, the second demystifying silver bullet whistled through the air, transforming into a silver light and striking his chest!

This time, Wilde had no energy left to dodge. He screamed in agony as a large hole appeared in his chest. The bursting silver light hit his face like concentrated acid, instantly melting it, revealing the underlying white bone.

Wilde let out a dying wail, the piercing sound cutting through the night, spreading far and wide.

Qianye coolly observed for a full second, confirming that even the legendary vampire ancestor’s blood pool could not save Wilde, before moving the gun to aim at another werewolf.

During the observation and shift, he loaded the third demystifying silver bullet and began to frantically activate the force tide, ignoring the intense pain as he channeled the last of his energy into the Scorpio needle.

The reason why the Bingfa method became the main cultivation method among the lower ranks of the Imperial Army was not only because it could rapidly increase one’s strength in the early stages but also because it could charge elemental guns faster than other methods. In such a situation, every second could mean life or death!

Although the sudden change had occurred, after firing two shots, Qianye’s position was exposed. The vampire warriors quickly moved towards his hiding spot, temporarily opening a gap in Yuetong’s encirclement.

Yuetong did not take the opportunity to flee; instead, gritting her teeth, she ghosted behind a vampire warrior, stabbing her short knife into his heart. At the same time, two spines flew from her hand, piercing a werewolf that was trying to take advantage. The venom on the spines acted immediately, and the giant wolf staggered ten meters before collapsing with a mournful cry.

The werewolf leader let out a furious howl, and all the werewolves turned to attack Yuetong, while he himself charged towards Qianye. In his mind, Qianye posed a much greater threat.

The power of the demystifying silver bullet was enough to make every dark race member tremble in fear!

Qianye watched the werewolf leader rapidly approach but did not fire. Werewolves, running in their wolf form, had quicker instincts than vampires, and could easily dodge when he pulled the trigger. Moreover, their recovery abilities were on par with vampires; if the shot didn’t hit a vital spot, they could recover in time.

“Come on! Damn you! One life for another, and I’ll come out ahead!” Qianye silently thought, his eyes cold and steady, tracking the werewolf leader’s movements.

After taking down Wilde, Qianye had regained all his purpose in life. If he could add a fifth-level werewolf, his life would be worth it!

That was the soldier’s calculus!

The werewolf leader was within ten meters, and he suddenly leapt, transforming mid-air into human form and lunging at Qianye!

Now!

Qianye waited for this moment!

He leaned back, raising the gun, and pulled the trigger. The timing and angle were so precise it seemed premeditated.

The demystifying silver bullet traced a beautiful, dazzling silver arc through the night, instantly piercing the werewolf leader’s chest!

A large burst of silver light shot out from the werewolf leader’s back, leaving a terrifying wound the size of a bowl. The silver light sprayed into the air, each droplet reflecting a myriad of colors.

The werewolf leader still landed at the intended spot, slashing down with a fierce claw. The Scorpio needle flew from Qianye’s hand, and the heavy blow landed on his chest! However, the strike did not tear open the fragile human as expected, but simply sent him flying far away!

The werewolf leader let out an angry roar, leaping again towards Qianye. But after a few meters, he yelped and fell to the ground. The demystifying silver bullet had burned through his internal organs. No matter how strong his vitality, he could not resist the destructive force wielded by a true human powerhouse.

Qianye landed dozens of meters away, spitting out a mouthful of blood, and lost consciousness.

On the other battlefield, Yuetong was not in a good state either. She had finally killed all the vampire warriors and removed the blood chain shackles. But now, her body bore dozens of wounds, and her left leg was unnaturally twisted, broken by a werewolf’s bite.

But there were still four werewolves surrounding her!

Yuetong bit her lip, the intense pain causing sweat to pour down her forehead. Her spines were all used up, and her only weapon was the special material short knife. She glanced in Qianye’s direction, finally biting her lip and turning to flee.

Qianye was only level two, and being hit by the werewolf leader meant certain death.

These werewolves were unexpectedly powerful. Even though Yuetong had removed the blood chain shackles, she needed time to recover her strength. But the werewolves clearly wouldn’t give her any chance. Yuetong originally wanted to take Qianye’s body, for leaving him here would turn him into a vengeful feast for the werewolves. But now, she had no choice but to leave him.

The four werewolves followed Yuetong at a leisurely pace, not worried about her stalling. With such severe injuries, Yuetong would exhaust all her energy before fully recovering. This was the hunting instinct of the werewolves.

Just as Yuetong left the garbage heap, a shadowy figure suddenly pounced, brutally knocking her to the ground!

Shadow Wolf!

This was the most ruthless and cunning killer among the werewolves, having been lurking and waiting for this moment.

Despair flashed across Yuetong’s face, but it quickly turned to ferocity. A deep crimson surged from her eyes, and an invisible shockwave shot out, slamming into the Shadow Wolf’s head!

The Shadow Wolf let out a mournful cry, its movements momentarily freezing. Yuetong seized the opportunity, driving her short knife into the Shadow Wolf’s lower abdomen!

The Shadow Wolf roared, swatting the short knife away with a claw, and then bit into her arm, crunching until her bones snapped!

When Yuetong lost the ability to resist and fell unconscious, the Shadow Wolf gradually shifted into a youth exuding wildness. He looked at the wound on his abdomen, extremely angry, and kicked Yuetong several times.

“That’s enough! She is more valuable alive.” An old man emerged from the darkness, followed by a dozen werewolves.

The Shadow Wolf pointed at Yuetong, growling, “But this cold-blooded woman will never submit! And she has killed so many of our kin!”

“That is something Viscount Duke must consider, not us. We need to deliver Yuetong alive and unharmed, otherwise, the deal is off,” the old man said slowly.

The Shadow Wolf’s chest heaved, glaring at Yuetong, and spat at her.

Strangely, the spit halted mid-air, beginning to slowly spin.
