Chapter 345: The Couple’s Message Transmission

Yu Jingqiu stepped out of her residence and walked through the Dongbo Castle. The children of the Dongbo Clan were all very respectful, standing afar and bowing in reverence. The servants and guards dared not approach either. Within the castle, Yu Jingqiu held the most special status, for she was the wife of Dongbo Xueying and the most powerful transcendent within the castle.

“These children,” Yu Jingqiu looked at the young ones of the Dongbo Clan, a smile forming on her lips, “Xueying, you once said we would have a child of our own.”

Soon, she exited the castle and walked atop the mountain peak.

“Hmm?” Yu Jingqiu sensed something and gazed into the distant sky, her heart filled with anticipation. A rift tore open in the distance, and from it flew a cute little girl with red skin, adorned in green leaves and red flowers.

“Who is she?” Yu Jingqiu asked, puzzled.

“This is Xue Shi Castle; no unauthorized entry is allowed!” A white mist condensed in the air, forming into a monkey-like figure that halted before the little girl. The mist-monkey remained cautious, sensing that this child was no ordinary one.

“Haha!” the girl beamed joyfully, “This is the castle I was looking for! I, Xue Man, am so clever; I found it right away. Oh, where is the mage Yu Jingqiu? I must see her!”

“Who are you?” the mist-monkey frowned. A child capable of tearing through space and arriving here likely possessed demi-god strength; how could it dare to let her pass so easily?

“I serve Dongbo Xueying; I come by his command!” the girl declared.

The mist-monkey was startled.

Dongbo Xueying?

“You come by Xueying’s orders?” A figure condensed from the air beside the monkey, none other than Yu Jingqiu herself. However, this was merely an energy construct formed by the castle’s protective formation; her true self remained atop the distant mountain.

Xue Man’s face lit up with joy as she immediately knelt mid-air: “Xue Man pays homage to my lady!”

“Do you have proof?” Yu Jingqiu did not immediately believe her.

“My lady, please look,” Xue Man waved her hand, producing a crimson spear.

Yu Jingqiu instinctively reached out and took the spear, caressing it as she whispered, “The Starfire Cloud Spear? How did his weapon end up here? Has something happened to Xueying?”

For a master, their weapon was of utmost importance.

However, Dongbo Xueying had long since expelled his poison, his inner sea producing demi-god battle qi, and he was now capable of wielding divine artifacts. Naturally, he had chosen better weapons on the Red Dust Island and had temporarily sent this one back as a token.

“My lady, if you attune yourself to it, you will understand,” Xue Man tossed over a red ring, beautiful and ornate.

Whoosh.

The red ring swiftly flew to Yu Jingqiu’s true form atop the distant mountain peak. She extended her slender finger, easily attuning to and wearing the ring.

Her spiritual senses reached into the ring, immediately perceiving scenes and images within.

“Jingqiu,” the white-robed Dongbo Xueying smiled as he spoke to her.

“Xueying, you… is this a recorded message, or are you truly speaking to me?” Yu Jingqiu asked anxiously, fearing that Dongbo Xueying had perished and left only a message behind.

“Of course, I am speaking to you in real time,” Dongbo Xueying replied.

Hearing this, tears streamed down Yu Jingqiu’s face.

“Don’t cry,” Dongbo Xueying quickly said.

“I know, I know,” Yu Jingqiu nodded rapidly, “How are you now?”

“I succeeded!” Dongbo Xueying smiled, “I passed the Skyvine Trial and became a Disciple Guardian of Redstone Mountain! The poison is long gone; I was the first to become a Disciple Guardian. I believe Master Meishan will also become one, assuming no mishaps occur.”

At that moment, Yu Jingqiu’s heart overflowed with joy. Previously, she had been deeply worried, as had Palace Master Chen and others. Though none voiced their fears, deep down they had all feared that Dongbo Xueying had likely perished, for so much time had passed!

“Ask Xue Man to give you the storage artifact,” Dongbo Xueying instructed.

“Alright,” Yu Jingqiu immediately requested.

Xue Man had already flown to the mountain peak, respectfully offering a jade-green bracelet. After attuning to it, Yu Jingqiu immediately sensed the vast treasures within.

“Jingqiu, this is very important. Listen carefully,” Dongbo Xueying began explaining numerous matters, entrusting his wife with tasks. As a transcendent mage herself, she could remember everything clearly after hearing it once.

“Alright, I understand.”

“Fifteen years?”

“Okay, I get it.”

“These treasures, worth eight thousand divine crystals?”

“Bloodvine flowers? So potent? To procure so many divine corpses for her?”

“Alright.”

Yu Jingqiu nodded in agreement one by one. Deep down, she was filled with joy—her husband was alive, the greatest surprise of all. Not only had he survived, but he had also been cured of the poison. They could truly be together for a long time.

They discussed matters for a full half-hour.

“Xueying, I’ve noticed you’ve become quite talkative,” Yu Jingqiu teased with a smile.

“These matters concern the entire Xia Clan; I must be cautious,” Dongbo Xueying replied.

“Don’t worry, I’ll handle everything properly and report back to you afterward,” Yu Jingqiu smiled.

“Of course, I trust my wife. You are the most powerful transcendent mage in a thousand years,” Dongbo Xueying praised. His words were true—though Yu Jingqiu had become a transcendent slightly later than Dongbo Xueying and Yuan Qing, she was still very young. Mages, by nature, valued accumulation, and from a mage’s perspective, Yu Jingqiu’s cultivation speed was already extraordinary.

“It’s been so long since we last met, and you contacted me through this message artifact, rattling off so many important matters. Don’t you have anything… else to say to me?” Yu Jingqiu asked.

“Uh…” Dongbo Xueying quickly thought, then smiled, “I’ve been cured of the poison. When I return, we’ll have a child together. No, we’ll have many children!”

Yu Jingqiu’s face turned bright red, “Many children?”

“Don’t worry. Our children will have the most powerful bloodline in Xia Clan history,” Dongbo Xueying said confidently. After all, he possessed the Wan Jie Hun Yuan Body; his bloodline surpassed all ancient bloodlines and demon lineages.

That very day, Yu Jingqiu set off for the Xuehuo World.

Inside the Xuehuo Palace, she met with Palace Master Chen.

“Jingqiu, why have you come?” Palace Master Chen was surprised, “Is something the matter?”

“Xueying sent word,” Yu Jingqiu replied, “The war between the Witch God and the Great Demon God will erupt in fifteen years!”

Palace Master Chen was shocked, “Has Xueying returned?”

“He remains at Redstone Mountain; he sent another being to relay the message,” Yu Jingqiu explained.

“Is he alive or dead?” Palace Master Chen asked.

“I don’t know,” Yu Jingqiu answered.

This was also Dongbo Xueying’s instruction: aside from Yu Jingqiu, no one else was to know of his status as a Disciple Guardian.

“Xueying also learned some information inside. He said the Witch God is the Lord of the Material Realm…” Yu Jingqiu continued, relaying everything she had been told. As she spoke, Palace Master Chen’s expression changed.

“Xueying also obtained some treasures and sent them out. Some are helpful for cultivation. Chen, you will distribute them. Let the Xia Clan’s top demi-gods use them; they may even give rise to a god!”

“Alright,” Palace Master Chen nodded, accepting the storage artifact.

This time, Dongbo Xueying had exchanged for various spirit fruits, elixirs, and other rare treasures—all aids to cultivation.

He wished for the Xia Clan to produce one or two more gods.

A small portion was given to Yu Jingqiu, while the rest was for Palace Master Chen to distribute.

Soon, Palace Master Chen began making arrangements.

In fact, the Xia Clan had already begun secretly relocating parts of their world. Now, with more information, they realized the war would be far more brutal than anticipated. And with the approximate time of outbreak known, the Xia Clan’s relocation accelerated dramatically.

No one dared to cling to fleeting hopes of fortune’s favor any longer.

Transcendent families began relocating, as did titleholders and other key talents.

After all, the Xuehuo World was limited in size. The entire Xia Clan’s migration was ruthless but necessary—only the most talented could be prioritized for relocation.

The Great Migration…

It was brutal. As a result, the Xia Clan’s world gradually fell into chaos. Those with connections scrambled to bring their families into the Xuehuo World.
