“This is the passage leading to Tianshui City,” the female Void God said.

Dongbo Xueying nodded and flew directly into the chaotic vortex.

The female Void God and the other Void God beside her watched with envy as Dongbo Xueying entered. As Inner Hall Attendants, they could only travel freely to other Chaos Cities for official business. Private trips required exorbitant fees. However, Inner Hall Elders enjoyed far greater privileges.

Even for a Chaos Primordial giant, tearing through space and time to travel from one Chaos City to another would typically take about a hundred thousand years,” Dongbo Xueying mused.

The Sacred Realm was immense.

With the suppression of the laws, travel became extremely difficult. To enhance their control, the Taixu Temple had spared no expense in constructing twelve fixed Chaos Passages connecting the Chaos Cities to the temple itself!

Tianshui City was one of the twelve Chaos Cities.

“Elder Chunwu and I were delighted to hear that Elder Dongbo would be guarding Tianshui City. We’ve prepared a banquet and hope you’ll grace us with your presence,” Elder Chunwu added.

Though Dongbo Xueying’s arrival meant that the two de facto highest-ranking figures in Tianshui City—Elders Chunwu and Qianyu—now had an Inner Hall Elder above them, they weren’t the least bit displeased. On the contrary, they were thrilled. Both understood that a prodigy who had cleared the third level of the Star Tower at the Primal Birth realm would find the fifth level effortless upon reaching the Unity realm.
