Staring in disbelief with wide eyes, everyone was petrified by Zhuo Yun Elder’s terror-inspiring appearance. With his mighty mouth agape, his deafening screams shook the heavens and earth, a stark contrast to his previously refined, graceful, and composed demeanor moments before. Without hesitation, each and every one of them instinctively recoiled involuntarily, fearing that he might erupt and injure countless bystanders. “Grandpa,” asked one tribal kid who tightly clutched his grandfather’s clothing edge, his little face filled with dread; “What in the world is Elder Zhuo Yun doing now—who is this, is he utilizing an ancient demonic dog martial technique? This is so damn scary.” The elder from the tribe hesitated slightly, then slowly nodded as if agreeing. “Where the heck is the Heisha Lotus medicine?!” erupted the raging Elder Zhuo Yun whose eyes were bloodshot. He quickly closed the gap onto the terrain crevatte, furiously pacing the landscape, searching for his missing prize. Several other Elders of Bu Tian Pavilion followed in a haste as though hot potatoes burned their arse, their brows drenched in sweat by fury and worry. Upon seeing the crater left behind, their visions dimmed from shock like they would black out anytime soon. It had grown an auspicious herb indeed—one was already a treasure. Could possibly metamorphose into a Celestial Essence herb! So how had it vanished so effortlessly like smoke? “Who did such a dastardly act that Heaven itself weeps?” yelled irately, Old Bear-Xiong Fei Elder. All fell wordless, as their purpose was to merely observe an auspicious herb. No one foresaw such an unprecedented scenario as the vanishing black lotus—the Eldests screamed as frenzied beings do in the depths of madness. Flashing in thunderous streaks, incredibly fast movements coursed through the area as they sought clues to this heinous crime, their bodies like streaks of lightning. One emissary who came all the way from one great dynasty barely dared utter with a slight cough: “Was there really a treasure plant?” This challenge sent Bu Tian Clan’s various elders into renewed fits and outrage for today indeed turned into their great public shame—an intended display of their ancient treasure turned joke on all witnesses! “We must find the devil that did this!” they howled in unison, wishing to grab the culprit and drag the culprit to justice instantaneously. Meanwhile Elder Zhuo Yun had still been howling loudly, painfully ringing in the public ears. The situation infuriated him to his core. It had been him who invited fellow peers to attend today’s exposition—it would have crowned honor but ended up an embarrassment that gnawed at his very self-esteem as a man of great standing.
A shadow moved—a colossal black tiger emerged from the earth rift. Every mortal presence trembled from fright—the monstrous silhouette exceeded mountainous size—unfathomably immense and fearsome. His jet-black fur, long and thick, made him appear a towering mountain of blackened horror—huge blood-red eyes surveyed each individual icily and coldly. From time to time, torrents of black miasma spewed forth from the rift. The black smoke spiraled upward endlessly like some hellish gate’s exit point—a sight to cause even valiant hearts cholerous panic. With mere appearance, even seasoned Elders couldn’t repress the shiver crawling their bones—none dared slight him directly. This formidable entity belonged to the Ancient Race lineage capable of mighty battles from eons ago: truly a mighty divine beast of ancient legend. Back when its capture, a master cultivators, nearly reaching heaven-simming realms personally exerted himself, using divine arms, intricate strategies to finally capture.
Its bellowing roar resonated across ten thousand mountains—many ordinary souls collapsed to the ground from raw fear—especially kids—this towering behemoth towering over mountains was an experience of absolute horror never glimpsed by them ever in dreams previously.
Black Tiger then sent out an immense divine thought directed right towards Bear Fei and Zhuo Yun Elders:
“This whole drama has been an artful ‘tiger decoy trap.’”
Silencely swallowing uneasiness and despair, several elders winced, mentally exclaiming that the plan’s very name was crafted to trap tigers specifically! The immense beast solemnly paced backward, retreating to its hidden chasm, fully vanishing. At its total disappearance, all present released a long-sighed breath of relief. Such oppressive might made breathing feel labored, so thick was the terrifying pressure surrounding the entity moments ago.
“Investigate every last detail! Locate all missing evidence now!” commanded elder Bear Fei, feeling dizzy and overwhelmed like a shattered soul, burdened by too many incidents piling up relentlessly—driving him near a breaking point. Upon thinking of “mayhem,” suddenly flashed onto the mind the words—The Holy Terror and the child genius “Nu Wei”— immediately igniting more of his rage. Shrieking he bellowed to the surrounding crowd. “Tell me! Tell me—was that devil of a child responsible again!”
At hearing his outcry, the scene froze into complete quiet for a split second. But within moments erupted a collective murmur of consensus—it could be nobody but Little Rascal—this exactly his style of antics. If even celestial passageways weren’t safe from him, could they really expect a treasure of this magnitude to stand a chance unassailing! Logically, if indeed he passed, the heavens themselves might as well rain divine curses.
“Holy cow! That child’s real a misfortune-spreading little devil who brings endless calamities and disaster wherever walks.”
“Hehehe,” another laughed knowingly. “When the announcement he would arrive first broke, my heart cried warning: The Ancient Holyland gonna burn terribly! You forget who his old father figure truly was—this is the exact being who couldn’t last ten minutes in Divine Realm but was expelled instantly!!”
“Sure enough—his dirty fingerprints are all over this one—it’s another action provoking heaven’s condemnation! Ha-Ha…Yet why am I struggling hard to hold my laughter here??”
Ah the pitied Bu Tian Pavilion Elders! Faces twisting darkly, their tempers burned near combustion as fellow observers surrounding them lacked the common decency of slightest pity or shared misfortune—instead feeding gleefully off their misfortunes heartedly.
“Track him down now!” Elder Zhuo Yun roared furiously like a man turned half-beast.
“That boy not only took herb root—every bit of plant—digs it clean! Find the little demon quickly—it still might live should we replant it properly,” suggested an elder helpfully.
Eventually they tracked him to the gaping crater where the little one’s single massive leap shattered solid rock floor—mirroring destruction similar to what broke ancient stele stones within Divine Realms.
“He’s the one! The very demon himself!!” cried everyone at once in shock confirmation. Suspicion beforehand had existed, but now the proof was undeniably irrefutable—this little beast had audaciously robbed their hallowed treasures of Bu Tian Clan right under all noses!
“Forget standing around! Deploy all barriers, sky net enclosing from all sides. Hunt the damn brat!” shouted Zhuo Yun Elder who, losing himself entirely, became nothing different from shouting, wild lunatics. The Secondary Battlefield encircled thoroughly. The Elder group believed, without doubt, that Little Demon could never escape. Following their path of pursuit and tracking signs of him vaulting across entire mountain ranges, everyone inhaled sharp breaths—his physique’s sheer godly might sent icy shudders into many hearts.
“Indeed! Another formidable rival to Shi Yi!” others whispered secretly, eyes alight.
“A couple years at least though—the rascal not even past childhood age yet.”
The elders continued following the trail, growing more incensed by the mile for along the trail found an ancient fragment herbal piece—imprinted by little clear teeth marks unmistakably.
Instant reactions: Not only Bu Tian sect but everyone else watching burst inside with grief over such wanton consumption. A precious treasure devoured by mouth? Without awaiting full maturation—worse yet consumed straight raw instead of cultivated in cauldron for optimal usage. Like biting into carrots casually, what a gross abuse upon rare divine properties and effects which might’ve harnessed at most merely 30 percent efficiency. The utter disregard stunk of sheer sacrilege.
“Argh—he’s making me mad!” Bear Fei Elder howled furiously.
With a sudden explosion of rage Elder Zhuo Yun couldn’t withstand—promptly spit up ancient blood onto nearby rock! “Does this boy understand how much this sacred black lotus matters!” He screamed upward at the very cosmos itself.
“I know precisely the plant indeed—it matters—but raw vs cooked is irrelevant to my body and its sixth-heaven transformation goals—my body simply processes no different,” thought Xiaobu Diant with indifference while gently scratching at head wondering how many more fragments of leaf might’ve scattered behind. Such waste—such careless waste.
Unknown this silent contemplation, others would beat him silly with bare hands and demand angry explanation for such casual disregard. “Is THAT your version of wastage? Biting into sacred medicine like it was mere vegetable!!”
Following such pursuit, the team gathered still more evidence of a root fragment—Zhuo Yun elder’s head swam and darken. Even the very herbal foundation dug out and consumed wholly??!
“Why you no leave the poor herbal roots untouched??!” Bear Fei Elder now completely frenzied screaming at imaginary heavens.
Their spirits now utterly broken—hope gone—how could they possibly recover the black lotus plant having even consumed every last trace. Deep sorrows now filled chests, and spirits broken. What a tragic, tragic event.
“Not like it a mere treasure,” countered silently Little Rascal’s unvoiced thoughts, “Everything from stem to core must find use—none shall be thrown aside—each scrap is worthy consumption; that’s what you call respect! Waste is worse crime indeed!”
He deeply resented their reaction—what nonsense, was it they truly guilty of such irreverence? Forgoing even root’s nutrients—how wastrel indeed! Luckily for now they couldn’t tap his deepest thoughts else many Elders surely vomited massive streams this moment outrightly once again.
“I vow vengeance—I swear should I seize him, he shall feel pain greater still!!” Zhuo Yun roared like storm winds.
Old friend Bear was near actual crying, the past twenty-four hours proving endless chaos from which no reprieve arrived—the boy had indeed caused more chaos since arriving. The epithet Divine & Human Alike Detest seemed truly befit no other!
“Turn this damn battlefield completely upside-down inside-out! From Heavens’ heights unto the earth’s very marrow we must search, not allowing passage anywhere.”
As this command resonated, a swarm of young elite disciples scattered in all cardinal directions into woodland thick of shadow and leaf—true inheritors born above Twenty Year mark—each powerful enough.
“Not nearly enough,” the senior command cried. “Though we encircle the locale securely, vast territory remains. Conceivable the little imp has vanished in hidden lair, so fetch even mightier help.”
That selfsame day, the Holy Ground trembled under an earth-turning mobilization, soon after summoning the rest disciples still remaining on site. The battlefield soon brimming over with dense, uncountable swarms of searching, roving figures of all ranks and skills. Naturally this incident soon spread far reaching the Divine Realms—a sensation exploding at impact! All were astonished at extent of holy childlike destructive power—their own disbelief that a tiny toddler pushed powerful sects like Bu Tien’s sect toward digging earth itself seeking clues.
“How pitiful poor Bu Tian Pavillion.” echoed across the Celestial Sagescape while various lands and domains buzzed and chattered. All at once “Nu Wei”—the mischievous rascal emerged again into the most popular, discussed topic—guesswork and conjectures filled every tavern, forum across land—accompanied by much uproarious, uncontrolled bursts of laughter.
Oh the suffering saints of Bu Tian Pavillion—under storm’s eye now—they heard countless mocks and taunts now aimed their directions which only firmed ironclad resolve within hearts—must capture Little Nu Weifang alive. After such disgrace, dragging him into holy ground would begin an era of slow retribution for each of his wrongs!
At moment a sudden cry broke the tension:
“Solved!! Got something!”
“Where??!!” Roared the Elder Zhuo Yun.
“A trio crystal bones, hidden within bird’s perch retrieved intact! One junior disciple approached, hands cupped offering rare treasures.”
Moments after another female disciple brought word:
“Found additional trio bone specimens hidden behind waterfall veil.”
“Its mine, all mine!!” the little figure silently wailed in anguish seeing them, round orbs wide from desperation yet restrained silence held strong. In the end they managed seizing six bone relics only. Xiao Bude exhaled deeply, still twelve to go which improved somewhat of his mood.
Next, changing form and face carefully while walking amongst the thirty thousand disciples, unnoticed and blending in naturally was his strategy—altering appearances progressively by degree while shuffling in mass bodies. Hence nobody ever perceived his disguise or presence in least bit suspicious manner possible.
With countenance darkened like thunderstorms gathering, the Elders gathered one-hundred-plus genius figures together. A single sharp glance scanning one by one, determined to spot any subtle clues that would identify the little devil among them.
“Challenge complete!!” Growled at last old bear and Zhuo Yun’s final proclamation, their emerald-green pupils radiating unnatural light while they suspiciously watched their gathered pupils for the possibility that The Holy Terror might’ve sneaked amidst.
They decided—they will track it out slowly. For any that set foothold into Bu Tian gate—no way they escape detection forever. At heart each of the elders carried immense frustrations knowing they missed an opportunity for on spot capture. Could truly that brat be one of those gathered youthful beings of promise?
Discussion amongst their group leaned toward a popular speculation—an assumption that Xiao Budiu might very well indeed be the youthful fledgling heir from a certain ancient race of terrifying beasts who’d transformed himself into mortal human’s body. Such beast forms certainly held this transformation skill. Why else did extraordinary bursts and super natural strengths come so naturally upon him? And how does he maintain an ever elusive trail?
What anger those thoughts induced upon the elders minds!! Famed elders growled their fury outwards collectively.
Beyond the Elders’ camp—yet other heart stirred in rage—the Silver Garb Youth finally piecing how he was the one assaulted, two hammer smacks ringing clearly in mind—nearly burst unto sobbing wails—his hatred for him blossomed unfathomably deep now! “See that?” spoke an onlooker to another. “Beholding an emerging horned star hero indeed—he unmoved like immovable mountain. While masses all marvel at chaos, alone he watches the heavens with silent command.”
“Grandfather yes, that tall youth alone looks unto sky—he alone without horns lacks such view.” another confirmed his tale.
“Truly an unrivaled prodigal genius! Of steel willpower beyond ordinary peers!’ others elders and elder statesmen all joined to praise in chorus and mutual awe.
Hearing such effluvious adulations now echoing his praises—the Silver Robed youth felt an onslaught of ten thousand muddy stampeding horses trample violently his heart and soul repeatedly—a scream at heaven’s injustice threatened bursting loose but tightly held in!
“Enough is enough! Mark this day as your initiation—starting forthwith you belong among Bu Tian Sect! Gaining transmission inheritors of Celestial Sanctum from time immemorial.” cried loudly an Elder into attention grabbing tones.
Together as one vast flowing tide the newly chosen group, surged from battle field outward toward mountainous gates of true sanctuary beyond.
At those very towering gateway gates still lingering patiently awaited more promising youth. Included Shi Yi himself. Emperor’s favored baby daughter. Royal prince of Celestial dynasties. And offspring of rare ancient lineages. They joined these others in preparation to share initiation together, forging new legacies under shared sky together.
