Chapter 855: The Giant Shark Clan

The two elders who had sealed off Yun Sect were now completely stunned. They never expected things to turn out this way.

The Shark King had actually been struck down with a single palm strike.

What the hell? How could this happen?

In their eyes, Yun Sect was surely doomed to destruction this time, but who could have imagined that this person would show up?

Moreover, they even knew this person—they had met him before when he visited Yun Sect as a guest from the Human Race.

But they never expected him to reappear this time, having become so incredibly powerful.

Pfft!

“Mercy, Sect Leader! Mercy! We were deceived, blinded! Please spare us!” the two elders pleaded desperately, hoping the Sect Leader would show them mercy.

If they had known things would end up like this, they would never have dared to side with the Ancient Clans, even if they were beaten to death. But now, it was too late for regrets.

“Master Yun, this is a matter concerning your sect, so I’ll leave it to you to handle,” said Lin Fan. Betraying one’s sect and siding with the Ancient Clans was something he despised deeply.

At this moment, Sect Leader Yun was also filled with fury. With two swift palm strikes, he instantly crippled the two elders.

“Hmph! Betraying the sect is a crime that deserves death. However, considering your former status as elders, I will strip you of your cultivation and imprison you in the dungeon forever,” declared the Sect Leader.

“No…”

Upon realizing they had become mere mortals with no cultivation left, the two elders screamed in despair. Being rendered powerless was no different from being killed.

“Master Yun, what are your plans now?” Lin Fan sent his divine consciousness into the Dimensional World and found that the aura of Yun Sect’s Ancestor was no longer present—he must have perished entirely.

“Sigh, now that the sect’s protective barrier has been destroyed, it’s essentially ruined. We’ll have to find a new location,” said the Sect Leader.

Lin Fan pondered for a moment before speaking, “How about relocating to the Xuanhuang Realm? I’ve already unified it, and there won’t be any interference from the Ancient Clans there.”

“Agreed.” Sect Leader Yun didn’t hesitate at all.

Lin Fan spread his five fingers, instantly drawing the entire Yun Sect’s structures into the Xuanhuang Realm.

The Xuanhuang Realm had already been refined by Lin Fan, and many cultivators were now cultivating there in complete safety.

Moreover, Sect Leader Yun was a wise and noble individual, and upon arriving at the Xuanhuang Realm, he would naturally be able to have a meaningful conversation with the Supreme Sect Leader.

After arranging everything, Lin Fan suddenly sensed a gaze fixed upon him.

When he turned his head, he found it was Red Cloud Fairy.

“Are you alright?” she stepped forward and asked softly.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” Lin Fan nodded. “Why don’t you head to the Xuanhuang Realm first? Once we drive away the Ancient Clans, I’ll have more free time.”

His words were vague, and it was unclear whether Red Cloud had fully understood.

“I understand,” she nodded without saying anything more.

It was a long-awaited yet not particularly warm conversation.

“Lin Fan, what are you planning to do next?” asked the Sect Leader.

“Since the Giant Shark Clan has sided with the Ancient Clans, I think it’s time I paid their base a visit,” Lin Fan replied. He was in urgent need of Holy Sun Pills, and now that the Giant Shark Clan had practically offered themselves up, how could he possibly let them go?

As one of the Ten Fierce Beasts of Ancient Times, they surely possessed many treasures.

“Just be careful. The Shark God of the Giant Shark Clan is extremely powerful, and there are many old experts hidden within. If the situation turns unfavorable, retreat immediately,” warned the Sect Leader.

“Understood. Don’t worry.”

With a flick of his sleeve, Lin Fan enveloped the entire Yun Sect and drew them into the Xuanhuang Realm. He was gathering strength. Only by continuously growing stronger could he stand a better chance against the Ancient Clans.

Shoo!

Lin Fan vanished into the void, heading toward the Giant Shark Clan’s base.

Inside a grand palace located in the middle of a vast ocean, a King sat on his throne, idly playing with a pearl in his hand.

Suddenly, the pearl shattered into dust, scattering across the floor.

The Giant Shark Clan members around him all lowered their heads, too afraid to utter a single word under the oppressive atmosphere.

“Damn fools!” roared the Shark God seated on the throne, his eyes flashing with cold fury.

“God, the sacrifices have arrived,” reported one of the Giant Shark Clan members entering from outside.

Moments later, several members carried in a cage. Inside were four crying children, their skin glowing with a delicate, spiritual aura.

Looking around at their unfamiliar surroundings, the four young boys wailed in fear.

The Shark God inhaled deeply, instantly sucking the four children into his mouth, chewing them slowly. Each bite of their spiritual flesh was filled with the purest essence of vitality.

Only in this moment could he begin to ease his fury.

“Not bad.”

The Shark God pulled a bone splinter from a child’s remains out of his mouth, used it to pick his teeth, then crushed the splinter between his teeth.

“These useless cowards failed to destroy Yun Sect. They’ve brought shame upon the Giant Shark Clan!” he growled.

The subordinates below trembled in fear, too afraid to respond.

They all knew—the Shark God was still furious, and no one dared to provoke him.

Who knows how much time had passed, but according to records, the Giant Shark Clan should reside within these waters.

“Truly, they live up to their reputation as one of the Ten Fierce Beasts of Ancient Times. They occupy thousands of miles of ocean territory, and everything within those thousands of miles belongs to them,” Lin Fan mused as he surveyed the endless sea. Suddenly, he noticed a dark shadow ahead and flew toward it.

On the surface of the sea,

A small wooden barrel floated aimlessly. Inside, a young boy warily scanned his surroundings, gently paddling with a wooden stick.

So small was the barrel that even a single wave could capsize it. To cross such a vast ocean was an impossible dream, let alone surviving without any food.

“I won’t give up. I must get out there, learn powerful skills, and return to save my people,” the boy’s innocent eyes glimmered with determination.

Splashing!

Suddenly, a massive disturbance rippled across the sea.

The boy cried out in alarm. Before his eyes, a gigantic sea beast opened its monstrous jaws, its savage eyes locked onto the child inside the barrel, and it lunged forward greedily, aiming to swallow him whole.

“Ah! Help me!”

The boy screamed in terror, tightly closing his eyes and bracing for the worst.

It felt like an eternity before he realized he was still alive. Slowly, he opened his eyes.

The enormous sea beast now floated in two halves on the water’s surface, its blood staining the sea and attracting nearby predators.

“Kid, what are you doing?”

Hearing the voice, the boy’s heart raced with fear. But when he saw the figure before him, he relaxed slightly, though he still cautiously asked,

“Who are you?”

Lin Fan looked at the child and smiled. “What do you think?”

“A good person?” the boy replied.

“Then yes, I’m a good person. How did you end up all alone out here?” Lin Fan asked.

“I… I…”

After hearing the boy’s story, Lin Fan couldn’t help but admire his courage.

With such meager equipment, he had dared to set sail. If he hadn’t met Lin Fan, he probably would have become food for sea beasts by now.

But judging from the situation, Lin Fan had come to the right place after all.
