Chapter 1395: The Spatial Bazaar

Ever since their return to the Starfall Pavilion, Xiao Yan and the Pharmacist Elder had simultaneously entered seclusion. During their retreat, colorful Dan Lei and peculiar celestial phenomena would occasionally appear in the sky above the pavilion, drawing surprised gazes from the disciples. However, these phenomena did not cause any destruction; the formed Dan Lei would always be quietly absorbed by figures emanating a dark golden light rushing into the thunder clouds. These celestial anomalies persisted for nearly half a month before gradually subsiding.

After fifteen days, the figures of the Pharmacist Elder and Xiao Yan slowly emerged from the stone tower at the back of the mountain. Both appeared weary, exchanged a glance, and sighed. They were too exhausted to exchange much idle talk and returned to their respective quarters to recuperate for three whole days.

On the third day, just as afternoon approached, Xiao Yan and the Pharmacist Elder met again. After three days of rest, both had fully recovered their strength.

“Let’s set out,” the Pharmacist Elder said with a smile, glancing at Xiao Yan. It was time for the Spatial Trade Fair to begin, and they needed to leave soon.

Xiao Yan nodded. He was accompanied only by Cai Lin and Little Healer Immortal. Although the Starfall Pavilion was his base, it made sense to leave most of the personnel here for protection, especially since the Pharmacist Elder was also leaving with them.

“I have made all the necessary arrangements for the Starfall Pavilion. If anything unexpected happens, I will return immediately,” the Pharmacist Elder stated, standing on the mountain peak and gazing at the starry domain. With a slight smile, he stepped into the void and swiftly headed towards the exit of the starry realm.

“Let’s go as well,” Xiao Yan said, turning to Cai Lin and Little Healer Immortal. The two nodded gently, and the three of them immediately followed.

The Spatial Trade Fair was a relatively unknown term across the Central Continent. Only the top forces and strong individuals knew anything about it. Initially, there was no specific organizer for the trade fair. However, as it expanded, suitable organizers eventually emerged. These organizers, however, were not a single strong individual or sect, but rather an alliance of three usually low-profile sects: the Earth Travel Sect, the Void Mystic Gate, and the Jewel Appraisal Mountain.

While these three sects were not as renowned as the Four Great Pavilions, they were formidable in their own right. Even powerful factions like the Burning Flame Valley or the Heavenly Nether Sect dared not underestimate them. The Central Continent was teeming with hidden talents, and the so-called “One Hall, One Tower, Two Sects, Three Valleys, and Four Great Pavilions” were not necessarily the strongest. Many seemingly unremarkable sects possessed immense power, though they kept a low profile due to their nature.

These three sects were highly trusted by the strong figures of the Central Continent. They had been chosen through countless interactions, ensuring their reliability. Thus, the Spatial Trade Fair, under their joint organization, had become increasingly prominent, attracting many reclusive strong individuals lured by the invaluable treasures on display. This place could indeed be considered the most prestigious trading venue in the Dou Qi Continent. Even heavenly tier Dou Techniques were not exceedingly rare here, but one must offer something of equal value to obtain them. Any attempt to rob such items would result in joint suppression by the three sects and other strong individuals, as all participants swore to attack any disruptors.

Despite occasional incidents, those who attempted to steal were generally met with a terrible fate. Thus, the fair continued to grow, attracting more and more top-tier strong individuals.

The location of the Spatial Trade Fair was in a desolate desert in the central region of the Central Continent. The harsh winds and impoverished terrain made it uninhabitable, and no force sought to exploit it. Yet, few would guess that this forbidding place hosted the most significant trading event in the continent.

“Whoosh!” A sharp sound suddenly split the clear sky, and four hazy figures darted across the horizon, appearing at the edge of the desert in an instant.

“Is this the place?” Xiao Yan asked, looking at the sandstorm-ravaged desert with surprise.

“Indeed,” the Pharmacist Elder nodded, his gaze sweeping the area. “This place may look barren, but if you sense closely, you’ll notice many powerful auras.”

Hearing this, Xiao Yan’s brows raised. He extended his soul perception, and his face quickly showed a look of astonishment. Even a rough scan revealed over a hundred auras, the weakest of which were at the three-star Dou Zun level. The strongest aura had a distinct fluctuation characteristic of a Dou Sheng, albeit faintly. This indicated the presence of at least an eight-star Dou Zun, if not higher.

“It’s no wonder this is the highest-end trade fair in the Central Continent. It attracts such a multitude of strong individuals,” Xiao Yan praised softly.

The Pharmacist Elder smiled, stroking his beard. “This is only a small part. Once we enter, you’ll see the true meaning of ‘high-end.'”

“In that area, be cautious. There are many strong individuals, and some obscure sects might have Dou Shengs. Avoid unnecessary conflicts,” the Pharmacist Elder advised seriously.

Xiao Yan and the others nodded. Though the Starfall Pavilion was developing rapidly, it largely relied on the Pharmacist Elder’s status as an alchemist and his semi-Dou Sheng strength. Otherwise, it would be comparable to the Wind Lightning Pavilion, a middle-tier force.

“Of course, if someone provokes us, we won’t be pushovers,” the Pharmacist Elder added with a slight smile. His status as the most renowned alchemist in the Central Continent commanded respect, even from true Dou Shengs.

With that, the Pharmacist Elder gestured and headed toward the desert, effortlessly dispelling the sandstorms. Xiao Yan and the others followed closely, and within twenty minutes, they reached the center of the desert, where a massive spatial black hole rotated, drawing in a steady stream of figures.

“Is this the entrance to the Spatial Trade Fair? To have created a separate space… truly impressive,” Xiao Yan murmured, watching the scene with awe.
