Chapter 119: Surrounded by Beauties (3)

“Join the Imperial Fleet?” Yang Hao was taken aback, sensing something was off.

“You don’t want to join the Imperial Fleet?” Long Yun frowned. “Then why did you come to study at the Advanced Academy of the Remon Star System? Now that you have your own group of swordsmen, you’ll immediately become nobility once you join the Empire. Isn’t that a good thing?”

“That’s true,” Yang Hao nodded. “Perhaps by then, the Wang family won’t dare to cause me any trouble anymore.”

Before Long Yun could say anything else, Jin Mianyue had already cheerfully run over and leaned against Yang Hao. “In half an hour, we’ll be starting the wormhole maze jump,” she said with a smile.

“My God, the tough times are coming…” Long Yun shook his head in despair. “This kind of life is really unbearable.”

“This jump will take at least thirty-six hours. I’ve linked together more than twenty wormholes, spanning over twenty star systems. We’ll definitely shake off the fleet chasing us. It’ll take them at least a few months to find us again. By then…” Jin Mianyue’s eyes gleamed with pride.

“By then, we’ll have already gotten what we wanted and be long gone,” Yang Hao patted her smooth face. “Good job.”

Long Yun grunted as he struggled up from the sofa. “I’m going to get those kids to sleep. The only way to get through the jump decently is to hibernate.”

“No one can endure a thirty-six-hour jump continuously. Everyone must enter hibernation. The spaceship will operate automatically and wake us up when we arrive,” Jin Mianyue reminded Long Yun. “Remember to hibernate in the gravity chamber, or I can’t guarantee a comfortable sleep.”

Watching Long Yun stagger out, Yang Hao suddenly remembered something. “I should also go check on Shi Ming’ai. I hope nothing happens during the jump.”

“I’m coming with you!” Jin Mianyue nervously grabbed Yang Hao’s sleeve.

“She’s my girlfriend!” Yang Hao was both amused and exasperated. “What do you think you’re doing?”

“She’s also my rival in love. Can’t I just take a look at her?” Jin Mianyue winked and ran off, surprisingly faster than Yang Hao.

“You’re in trouble, kid. You’ve got yourself into big trouble,” Hun Yuanzi said weakly. “Even in my prime, I dared not to have two women together. You’ve never seen how terrifying women can be when they get angry.”

Yang Hao was helpless too. He had initially not even wanted Jin Mianyue on the spaceship, but this woman seemed to possess a kind of magic that made it impossible for anyone to refuse her.

Shi Ming’ai’s ward was located in the safest central core of the spaceship. It was a fully powered gravity chamber, ensuring all instruments inside remained balanced, no matter how turbulent the journey outside, the room would remain perfectly still. Shi Ming’ai lay asleep in the life-support capsule. Through the transparent glass lid, one could clearly see her beautiful face. Her cheeks were pale, her lips colorless, and her hair was slightly disheveled across her forehead.

“So beautiful,” Jin Mianyue stared intently at the unconscious Shi Ming’ai, her eyes filled with complex emotions—seeming to express sorrow, a sigh, and even a touch of self-pity. “She’s so beautiful.”

“Yeah,” Yang Hao nodded. “She’s the most beautiful, no matter when, she’s always the most beautiful in my heart.”

“She became like this because she saved you?” Jin Mianyue had already heard Yang Hao’s story from the gossipy X13.

Yang Hao’s fingers trembled slightly but he didn’t say anything, only gazing at Shi Ming’ai’s face, which had long lost its former vibrancy.

“Have you ever thought about what you’ll do if you can’t save her?” Jin Mianyue placed her hand on the glass lid of the capsule. “The chances really are slim.”

“No, I must save her. It’s my responsibility.” Yang Hao smiled slightly. “After all, I’m the sect leader. Of course, I have a responsibility.”

“Sect leader?”

“The Dan Ding Dual Cultivation Sect!” Yang Hao laughed heartily. “A small sect that went bankrupt tens of thousands of years ago.”

“Nonsense!” Hun Yuanzi was furious as expected. “You disobedient apprentice, daring to mock my sect! Do you still want to be the sect leader? Be careful, I, the former sect leader, will expel you.”

Sure enough, Jin Mianyue had never heard of this sect. She stuck out her tongue. “Actually, the risks you’re taking are really huge. The fleet chasing you is the Heavenly King Fleet, one of the four major family armies of the Empire. Do you know how powerful they are? A single coordinated fleet bombardment can destroy an entire planet.”

“It was dangerous at first,” Yang Hao grinned slyly. “But now we have you, right? We’ll shake them off after the wormhole maze jump, right?”

“Of course!” Jin Mianyue nodded enthusiastically. “Who do you think I am? One of the best star navigators in the world. With me, everything can be sorted out.”

“Haha, I like this girl,” Hun Yuanzi chuckled delightedly. “She has that confident air I had back in my day. It might be necessary to take her as my disciple too, to prevent you from disgracing our sect alone.”

Yang Hao ignored him completely, leaning closer to Jin Mianyue with a lecherous expression. “Well, we’ve got thirty-six hours of jumping ahead of us. Since it’s going to be so empty, why don’t you hibernate with me? Two people can keep each other company and do a little something.”

Jin Mianyue cast a seductive glance at Yang Hao. Yang Hao had already written his lustful thoughts all over his face, his eyes fixed on Jin Mianyue’s chest.

Jin Mianyue pouted and gave Yang Hao a heavy kiss on the face, then laughed until tears came to her eyes. “I won’t. You’re such a big pervert.”

Before Yang Hao could react, Jin Mianyue had already darted away, disappearing into one of the hibernation pods to sleep.

“If you don’t want to go, then don’t. Why run away like that, as if I’m a pervert,” Yang Hao helplessly shook his head.

“That’s exactly what you are!” Hun Yuanzi exclaimed in frustration, filled with disappointment.

“You’re the pervert!”

“You’re a little pervert taught by an old pervert!”
