Chapter 1354: “Twin Flowers”

Zheng Yingxiong sniffed the intense scent, feeling a chill run down his spine:

“Not good… not good… trouble’s coming… *Dang it!*…”

“What’s not right?” Chen Junnan asked, puzzled. “Wait, you little brat, stop cursing!”

“The scent of ‘Disaster Beckoning’ is too strong!!” Zheng Yingxiong shouted. “Chen Junnan, hold on tight!”

“Hold on?” Chen Junnan froze. “*Rot in Hell*, what the hell is Han Yimo thinking now?!”

As soon as he finished speaking, massive cracks instantly appeared in the floor beneath them, and several unconscious bodies plummeted into the abyss.

Realizing the danger, Zheng Yingxiong and Qin Dingdong lunged forward simultaneously, each grabbing onto one person.

In the chaos, Qin Dingdong managed to grab Yan Zhichun’s arm, while Zheng Yingxiong seized Zhang Lijuan.

Chen Junnan also sensed the imminent peril and quickly dashed forward to pull back Zheng Yingxiong, who was being dragged down.

“Kid!! Let go!!” Chen Junnan barked coldly. “This isn’t right! You can’t hold her!”

“N-no… I can’t!!” Zheng Yingxiong stammered in panic. “I can’t let go… Chen Junnan… I can’t let go…”

His mind flashed back to the scene at “Envious Ducks.”

He had watched helplessly as Sister Siwei dissipated before his eyes, powerless to do anything.

“You stubborn kid…” Chen Junnan tugged hard, pulling Zheng Yingxiong back. “If you hold on, you’ll die too!”

“I… I can’t let go…”

For a moment, the group was locked in a stalemate—unable to save the others and clueless about the sudden catastrophe unfolding in the room.

What kind of disaster had “Disaster Beckoning” summoned?

“*Rot in Hell*, Han Yimo…!!” Chen Junnan bellowed toward the door. “Can you hear me?! Just stay unconscious, damn it!!”

But before his voice could fade, the entire room crumbled apart in an instant.

Everyone inside began plummeting rapidly downward.

Simultaneously, nearly all the rooms shattered, and countless people tumbled into the endless, pitch-black void.

Qiao Jiajin, Jin Yuanxun, and Zhang Shan stared in shock at the scene outside—the entire “corridor” and all the rooms had vanished without a trace.

Everyone was now falling, scattered like countless insects into the darkness.

This time, it wasn’t just the corridor—every room had collapsed.

“*Dang it!*” Qiao Jiajin craned his neck to look outside. “Big guy, tell me what the hell is happening out there?!”

“Now you ask,” Zhang Shan muttered. “Hold on, let Xiao Jin make something up for you.”

“Uh… bro… I…”

The three of them were utterly bewildered. Why, at such a critical moment, was there no one to guide them?

The room had officially turned into three giant headless chickens.

Qinglong, barely clinging to life, lay on the ground and turned his head toward the door.

There was nothing left but emptiness.

Though he didn’t know how Qi Xia had managed this, it seemed he and Tianlong were already… beyond saving?

No…

Qinglong knew there was still a sliver of hope for them.

They had to sever the “Twin Flowers” now.

If they were pushed to this brink… why should these insects get off easy?

By cutting the Twin Flowers, Tianlong might survive alone—and there was even a slim chance Qinglong himself could be saved.

With a bitter smile, Qinglong raised a trembling hand toward the three men in the distance.

Jin Yuanxun noticed him and immediately signaled the others.

The three turned around and saw Qinglong lying there, his hand outstretched as if pleading for help.

Qiao Jiajin walked over and frowned. “What’s up, little green guy? Want a drink?”

“I… am about to die,” Qinglong whispered weakly.

“Oh, then next time,” Qiao Jiajin said, turning to leave.

“W-wait…” Qinglong called out, his voice barely audible. “I’m dying… and Tianlong will die too.”

“Oh…?” Qiao Jiajin paused and frowned at him.

Qinglong gave a weak laugh. “Right now… I… have a way… to keep Tianlong alive. Are you… interested?”

“Keep… Tianlong alive?” Qiao Jiajin glanced back at Zhang Shan.

Both found the idea utterly absurd.

They had come here to kill the rulers—now they were considering how to *save* Tianlong?

But was this the right path?

Three fools still couldn’t outthink a Zhuge Liang. Zhang Shan and Qiao Jiajin both turned to Jin Yuanxun.

“Huh?!” Jin Yuanxun froze. “Bro… you’re looking at me? Is this right? Oh?”

“We’re just consulting you,” Qiao Jiajin said. “Should we team up with little green here to save little red…?”

Jin Yuanxun thought for a moment, utterly lost about the situation.

Tianlong had been fine earlier—how was he dying now?

“Maybe… we should check on Brother Chu’s situation first?”

The three climbed the steps to where Tianlong and Chu Tianqiu lay, examining their conditions.

Though Chu Tianqiu seemed normal, Tianlong was clearly deteriorating—his face had turned deathly pale.

Qiao Jiajin held a hand in front of Tianlong’s nose and said grimly:

“He’s barely breathing.”

Zhang Shan raised a finger to his lips, signaling Qiao Jiajin to keep quiet.

After a silent nod, the three retreated down the steps to discuss their next move.

If Tianlong stopped breathing, whatever Chu Tianqiu was attempting would fail. So, for now, they had to cooperate with Qinglong to keep Tianlong alive.

“Let’s… hear Qinglong’s plan first,” Zhang Shan suggested. “If it’s fishy, we stick to the status quo.”

“Agreed.”

Once they decided, they approached Qinglong and listened to his idea.

His plan sounded simple—but was now impossible to execute.

He needed Tianshe to bring someone who could perform “Soul Migration” to him.

By temporarily transferring one soul into an object, they could briefly break the shared fate.

Chen Junnan gritted his teeth and looked up—the sky was filled with falling people, all plummeting alongside him. Only a single “door” remained standing far above.

That direction… the “Caboose” room?

What the hell was happening?

As he stared at the door, a figure suddenly leaped out.

Chen Junnan froze, then watched as the figure vanished—only to reappear right in front of him.

“You… Xiao Jin?!” he gasped. “Where the hell have you been?”

“Bro!” Jin Yuanxun said urgently. “I need to ask you something!”

“How’s it looking up there?” Chen Junnan fired back first.

“Bro! Don’t ask me—this is urgent,” Jin Yuanxun insisted. “Do you know where that ‘Soul Migration’ person is in your room?”

“‘Soul Migration’?” Chen Junnan paused. “The lawyer? I think I saw her just now…”

He pointed into the distance, where two girls were falling alongside them.

“Got it!” Jin Yuanxun was about to vanish when Chen Junnan grabbed him.

“Xiao Jin, why do you need ‘Soul Migration’?”

“Bro, Qinglong’s dying!” Jin Yuanxun said. “But we need to keep Tianlong alive, so we’re using ‘Soul Migration’ to break the ‘Twin Flowers’!”

“Huh?” Chen Junnan was baffled. “Whose idea was this?”

“It’s Qinglong’s own plan!” Jin Yuanxun said seriously before disappearing again.

Chen Junnan was even more confused—Qinglong himself had suggested this?

Using “Soul Migration” to counter “Twin Flowers”?

He didn’t have time to dwell on it, instead scanning the void around him. Not a single “door” was visible—only endless darkness.
