Chapter 58: Ann, Shen, Si, Xian, Yao

Entering the student council room, Xia Yu first threw Zhong Yunxin into the inner lounge, then turned to the two security guards.

“What happened today?” Xia Yu asked.

The older of the two guards replied, “We were on duty when a girl came and told us that there was a fight. Then we arrived at the scene and saw that girl chasing two other girls.”

“Anything else?” Xia Yu asked again.

The two guards shook their heads. They didn’t know anything else and didn’t want to know.

“Thanks for your trouble.” Xia Yu asked Feng Yumo to open the door and then escorted the two guards out.

He didn’t immediately question Zhong Yunxin but sat on the sofa waiting. Another minute passed before the two victims walked in.

Xia Yu first scanned their bodies; there were no signs of injury.

The two girls sat on the sofa, looking left and right. Seeing Zhong Yunxin wasn’t here, they heaved a sigh of relief.

“Why was Zhong Yunxin chasing you?” Xia Yu asked.

The two girls chattered on about the incident while Xia Yu summarized what they said.

In short, one of the two girls had disliked Zhong Yunxin’s eccentric clothing and made a few remarks. As a result, Zhong Yunxin chased them.

Luckily, they ran fast enough and weren’t caught by Zhong Yunxin.

“Had you two interacted with Zhong Yunxin before?” Xia Yu frowned.

“No.” The two girls answered.

From their expressions, Xia Yu could tell they were telling the truth.

In other words, Zhong Yunxin suddenly erupted without any underlying reason—she was simply a delinquent.

If that was the case, it would be easier to handle.

If she had some other grievance, Xia Yu would have to work hard to resolve it. Now that he knew the problem lay with Zhong Yunxin herself, dealing with her alone would suffice.

“Do you know about the last time Zhong Yunxin assaulted someone?” Xia Yu asked again.

Dongzhi Xiang Academy was small enough that the two girls, who were socially connected, knew the victim. They told Xia Yu everything they knew.

The girl bullied by Zhong Yunxin had no prior connection with her either.

This girl was simply a pure evildoer.

Since that was the case, it was straightforward.

If he had to deal with her, he just needed to address Zhong herself.

“Do you want Zhong Yunxin to joyfully drop out and continue her reckless ways, or would you prefer her to come to you personally to apologize and behave herself at school from now on?” Xia Yu looked at the two girls.

If the two girls escalated the matter, Zhong Yunxin would most likely be expelled.

The two girls thought for a moment. Retaliation was always based on the other person’s remorse. Expulsion would only make Zhong Yunxin happy, which wouldn’t count as revenge.

“Do you really have a way to deal with Zhong Yunxin?” the two girls asked.

“Just wait until the celebration day is over. If Zhong Yunxin hasn’t apologized to you by then, you can tell the teacher.”

“Okay.” The two girls agreed.

After letting them leave, Xia Yu finally released Zhong Yunxin and questioned her.

After being left alone for a while, Zhong Yunxin had regained her composure. She looked at Xia Yu: “What? Are you going to scare me with the same trick from yesterday? Let me tell you, it won’t work!”

Indeed, Xia Yu had only scared her yesterday. If this were his own body, he wouldn’t hesitate to lay a hand on her—he was Zhong Yunxin’s older brother, and disciplining his sister was only natural. But now, he was using An Siyao’s body.

He had previously laid hands on Zhong Yunxin to subdue her, but now there was no reason to do so again.

Leaning lazily against the back of the sofa, Xia Yu glanced sideways at Zhong Yunxin:

“I’m giving you two choices now: one, you go and apologize to the girls you bullied and behave yourself from now on. Two, I let you go right now.”

Zhong Yunxin looked at Xia Yu with an expression of disdain: “Of course I choose option two!”

So Xia Yu stood up and opened the door.

Zhong Yunxin strode out of the room.

The Feng sisters approached Xia Yu.

“You’re just letting her go like that?” they asked angrily.

“She’ll come back.” Xia Yu smiled.

Leaving the academy, he got into a car and returned to the villa’s front courtyard.

The driver stopped the car, preparing to get out and open the door for Xia Yu, but Xia Yu stopped him: “Don’t bother. Stay seated.”

Instantly, cold sweat broke out on the driver’s back.

So, it was finally time to eliminate him!

Honey, I’m going ahead first!

“There’s something I need you to do.” Xia Yu continued.

The driver exhaled in relief. So it wasn’t about eliminating him—just some task to handle.

“Who does the young miss want eliminated?” he asked.

“???”

So this driver was actually that kind of person!

Indeed, the driver of an upper-class family was extraordinary!

After calming himself, Xia Yu said, “No one needs to be eliminated. Just go and scare a little girl.”

Xia Yu explained his plan to the driver and instructed him to carry it out.

“Mission will be accomplished.”

The driver opened the car door for Xia Yu and watched his young master walk away with a sigh.

Sure enough, knowing so much, he wouldn’t be left in peace.

This must be a test—to see if he could handle such tasks and then decide whether to eliminate him or bring him into the fold.

The previous driver might have disappeared because he failed the test.

The driver’s expression turned serious. He took out his phone and began making arrangements.

On Friday, Zhong Yunxin, wandering around the academy grounds, noticed that the usual security around the school perimeter had thinned out. The guards who usually patrolled near the walls were nowhere to be seen.

This was a great opportunity. Originally not wanting to go out, Zhong Yunxin was tempted by the chance.

Just like a customer who doesn’t intend to buy anything but is tempted by a discount.

Such a great opportunity—if I don’t run away now, won’t I be at a loss?

Thinking this, Zhong Yunxin climbed over the wall.

Perfect!

She clapped her hands and cheerfully walked away, completely unaware that not far behind her, a gardener trimming the hedges was quietly following her.

Meanwhile, in the Dongzhi Xiang dormitory, the two girls who had been bullied by Zhong Yunxin were chatting.

“An Siyao said Zhong Yunxin would apologize to us. Do you think that’s reliable?”

“Since An Siyao said so, she probably has some confidence, right?”

“But Zhong Yunxin apologizing and behaving herself? How is that possible!”

“Just wait and see. If it doesn’t work out, we’ll tell the teacher. This time, she’ll definitely be expelled!”

They weren’t very confident in Xia Yu’s promise.

At that moment, they heard crying from downstairs.

Looking out the window, they saw a figure in a leather jacket running into the dormitory.

They exchanged astonished glances. There was only one person on campus who dressed like that—but for her to be crying like this… how could that be?

“We must have seen wrong.”

“Maybe it’s an imitator.”

They didn’t believe it until the doorbell rang and Zhong Yunxin, wiping her tears, stood before them.

“I’m sorry, please forgive me!” Zhong Yunxin bowed.

The two girls blinked, closed the door, and opened it again.

Zhong Yunxin was still there.

An Siyao was actually telling the truth!

Not only apologizing—but bowing!

Was An Siyao a goddess!
