Chapter 116: Arrival at Hometown

Going back home, Xia Yu placed the black cat into a cat carrier and entrusted the hamster to Yan Wei before coming back to Kong Hanyue’s villa.

“You keep a cat too?” Kong Hanyue looked at the black cat in surprise. “Why does this cat seem familiar to me?”

“Maybe you’ve seen it on TV,” Xia Yu replied.

“TV?” Kong Hanyue thought for three seconds before excitedly lifting up the black cat. “Is this the cat from the advertisement? Tell me about the ad. How can a cat be so obedient?”

“You can ask You Xue about that; she accompanied the cat during the filming.”

Upon hearing Xia Yu’s words, the girl beside them was delighted, seeing it as a good opportunity to get closer.

However, Kong Hanyue didn’t give her the chance. “Never mind then, it’s just an ad; nothing particularly interesting.”

Putting the cat down, she took out a car key. “Alright, let’s get going.”

Leading the three children to the underground garage, Kong Hanyue opened the door of an SUV.

“The driver hasn’t come back from dropping Xin Xin off. Actually, I think I can still manage,” Kong Hanyue tried to get back into the car but was firmly held back by Xia Yu.

“Then we’ll take the bus. It’s fine.”

Holding onto Kong Hanyue, the four arrived at the bus stop and boarded the bus heading to their hometown.

Listening in from the front, You Xue and Kong Hanyue couldn’t help but laugh.
