Chapter 207: Malicious

Yun Qingxue was so angry that she laughed. It was the first time she had encountered such a bizarre woman—one who absurdly believed that everyone in the world was her servant, obligated to obey her every word as if it were a sacred decree!

“Aren’t you leaving yet?” Seeing Yun Qingxue remain motionless, Yun Sisi raised an eyebrow and demanded.

“This is my master’s room! Have you no shame?” Daise’s delicate face flushed red. Though naturally timid, even the meekest person would feel a surge of anger under Yun Sisi’s relentless provocation.

“Wretched maid!” Yun Sisi raised her hand, her eyes flashing with dark malice.

“Miss Sisi!”

Just as Yun Sisi lifted her hand to strike Daise again, Yun Qingxue swiftly grabbed her wrist. Her gaze was icy, devoid of any warmth.

“It’s already very late. Even if you don’t want to rest, others do. I’m tired and won’t entertain idle chatter with you any longer. Goodbye—I won’t see you out.”

With that, Yun Qingxue forcefully shook off Yun Sisi’s hand and turned to close the door. There was no point in wasting words on someone so unreasonable.

“How dare you treat me like this!” Yun Sisi seemed infuriated, her chest heaving rapidly. Seeing Yun Qingxue about to shut the door, she quickly retaliated. A dagger materialized out of thin air, aimed straight at Yun Qingxue’s beautiful face. In all her years, aside from Brother Changxing and her father, no one had ever dared to defy her!

If this woman had a death wish, Yun Sisi would gladly send her to meet the King of Hell!

The blade glinted coldly in the night. Startled, Yun Qingxue dodged to the side. She never imagined that Miss Sisi not only had the spoiled temper of a pampered young lady but also a venomous heart!

Coming to her residence in the middle of the night to cause trouble was bad enough, but now she was resorting to outright assassination!

The dagger grazed Yun Qingxue’s cheek before embedding itself into the wall with a sharp clang.

Yun Qingxue’s expression turned frigid. In both lifetimes, she had never deliberately harmed or schemed against anyone. So why did people always seek to bully her?

“Miss Sisi, you’ve gone too far!” Yun Qingxue snapped, her voice laced with fury.

Yun Sisi smirked arrogantly, her almond-shaped eyes narrowing at Yun Qingxue. “So what if I have? What can you do about it? Since you refused to listen to reason, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

A sharp whistling sound cut through the air.

Daise clung to the doorframe, one hand covering her mouth, suddenly realizing the situation was escalating beyond control. Beside her, Yun Qingxue raised a hand slightly, coldly watching as five wind blades shot toward Yun Sisi in the distance.

If this woman had come looking for trouble, there was no need to endure it silently. With two thousand years of cultivation and three months of rigorous training under her master’s guidance, Yun Qingxue saw this as the perfect opportunity to test her newfound skills.

Thus, before Yun Sisi could finish her venomous words, Yun Qingxue had already unleashed her attack.

If she didn’t strike first, Yun Sisi would undoubtedly attack her anyway. Since a fight seemed inevitable, it was better to seize the initiative rather than remain passive.

Yun Sisi’s eyes widened in shock. How dare Yun Qingxue strike first? Shouldn’t she have been the one to initiate the attack? Why was she suddenly the one about to be beaten?

After a brief moment of stunned disbelief, Yun Sisi agilely dodged the five wind blades, her gaze darkening as she glared at Yun Qingxue. “You dare ambush me? I’ll take your life for this!”

Yun Qingxue smiled coldly, her clear eyes just as icy. “Ambush? You were the one who threw a dagger at me without warning. I’m merely returning the favor.”

“Bitch! Such a sharp tongue—I’ll tear your mouth apart!” Yun Sisi lunged forward, conjuring a sword wreathed in white mist, its tip aimed straight at Yun Qingxue’s heart.

Yun Qingxue swiftly leaped upward, narrowly avoiding the blade. She regarded the frenzied Yun Sisi with cool detachment. “Does your family have a history of hereditary illness?”

Yun Sisi’s strike missed, and the sudden, baffling question made her pause momentarily.

Though she didn’t understand what “hereditary illness” meant, anything involving “illness” couldn’t possibly be a compliment.

Convinced Yun Qingxue was insulting her, Yun Sisi’s fury intensified. Her attacks grew even more vicious, each strike aimed at Yun Qingxue’s vital points, as if determined to kill her.

Faced with such ruthless aggression, Yun Qingxue saw no reason to hold back. She couldn’t fathom what she had done to provoke Yun Sisi’s murderous intent—was it really just over a verbal spat? Or because she hadn’t surrendered her room?

Or… was it because of Mo Changxing?!

Whatever the reason, such lethal hostility was utterly malicious.
