Yun Qingxue retrieved the night pearl. By now, the cave had become so low and cramped that she had no choice but to kneel and crawl forward slowly.

The light ahead grew brighter, and the air fresher. The cave entrance was now within reach, and Yun Qingxue couldn’t help but quicken her pace.

At the very edge of the exit, the space was so narrow that only a person of average build could barely squeeze through.

Yun Qingxue and Daise struggled to crawl out of the opening. In contrast, Liuli, with her small fox body, passed through effortlessly, as if taking a leisurely stroll.

The cave exit they had just crawled out of was halfway up a mountain. The grassy patch where they now lay was not far from the entrance.

Without hesitation, Daise complied the moment the order was given.

A crimson drop of blood dripped from her fingertip onto the barrier, causing ripples to spread across the entrance before vanishing along with the blood.

Once Daise stopped the bleeding, Yun Qingxue crouched down, picked up Liuli, pricked her front paw, and let her blood drip onto the barrier as well. Finally, she took out A’Dai, pricked him to draw a drop of blood, and added it to the enchantment.

“With your blood on this barrier, you can freely enter and exit this cave even without me leading the way.

Daise nodded quickly, impressed by her master’s foresight.

Liuli, however, stared at Yun Qingxue with round, puzzled eyes.

She and the snake had both formed master-servant contracts with Yun Qingxue, making them her contracted familiars. With such a bond, no matter where they were, a simple summoning spell from their master would bring them to her side!

Yun Qingxue smiled, then picked up Liuli and led the way down the mountain.
