“Slaves are all in the grand hall on the second lower level. Mr. Luo, please follow me.” The green-haired man led the way.
This spaceship was much larger than Luo Feng’s Black Dragon spaceship.
Of course, its material quality was significantly inferior, as this vessel was merely a Class-B spaceship. In the spacious hall on the second lower level, with a diameter exceeding one hundred meters, stood a large number of slaves—some were muscular, some cold and stern, and others were seductive and beautiful. One would never guess they were slaves just by looking at them.
After all, even the weakest among them was a ninth-stage Mentalist of the Stellar Level, stronger than Luo Feng himself! How could their demeanor possibly be lacking?
“Mr. Luo, please stand at the front,” said the green-haired middle-aged man. “This process will take a little while.”
“Alright.”
Luo Feng walked to the front of the hall, gazing at the rows of slaves standing straight ahead. One thousand Stellar Level ninth-stage slaves gathered together, while sixteen Stellar Level slaves stood closest to Luo Feng.
“Beep!”
A strange sound echoed.
Instantly, all the slaves’ eyes became somewhat vacant. In a corner of the hall, the green-haired man was directing his subordinates to operate the equipment quickly, with one device pointed directly at Luo Feng, seemingly collecting his information. Time passed minute by minute, and gradually, the slaves’ eyes began to brighten and regain their vitality.
Approximately twelve minutes later.
“Master!”
Over a thousand slaves, male and female, from various races, bowed slightly in unison, their voices filled with deep respect.
“Mr. Luo,” the green-haired man approached, holding a silver case with a beaming smile. “Everything is done. Inside are one thousand and sixteen microchips, each serving as a control terminal for one slave. Each chip corresponds to one individual slave! Insert the chip into an auxiliary optical brain, and you can operate it.”
“I’ve included a data card with detailed instructions on how to operate them inside,” the green-haired man explained.
Luo Feng nodded.
Babata had already explained all of this to him in great detail.
“Mr. Wula, I’ll proceed with the transfer now,” Luo Feng said with a smile.
He transferred the remaining payment into the slave trader’s account, finalizing the transaction.
“Haha!” The green-haired man’s face lit up when he received the confirmation of the payment. “Mr. Luo, it was a pleasure doing business with you. Here is my virtual cosmic network ID. If you ever want to buy more slaves, please contact me directly. Let me know any requirements you have! I’ll make sure to give you the best possible discount.” He handed over a business card.
“Definitely.”
Luo Feng accepted the card and turned to face the 1016 slaves.
“Follow me,” he said.
“Yes, Master.”
Three seventh-stage Mentalists of the Heimeng race followed Luo Feng closely. Behind them came the other thirteen Stellar Level slaves, followed by the one thousand lower-level slaves. Some of the slaves whispered among themselves: “The mind-binding ritual was so painful this time. It seems our new master must be someone of great status and power. I hope we can have a better life from now on.”
Though the bio-chips were low-cost, they were extremely advanced in technology.
It was said that this technology was obtained by the human race during battles with the Machine Race. Once a bio-chip was implanted, the slave would be completely controlled. They would retain all their past memories, yet from the depths of their hearts, they would be utterly loyal to their master! Even the slightest thought of disrespect would trigger a countermeasure from the bio-chip.
Therefore…
Throughout the vast universe, over countless years, not a single slave controlled by a bio-chip had ever betrayed their master.
Unless the slave became a Domain Lord, they could resist the chip’s countermeasures. The strongest countermeasure of the bio-chip was to explode the slave’s head… but even then, a Domain Lord would survive such an attack.
…
On the planet Qiulong, at the planetary docking port.
“Respected sir, we welcome you to visit Qiulong again in the future,” said a muscular green-skinned man, over two and a half meters tall, with two curved horns on his head, dressed in a gray uniform. He respectfully retrieved the docking card from Luo Feng and watched the mighty procession, led by three seventh-stage Mentalists, enter the Black Dragon spaceship.
The Black Dragon spaceship lifted off and departed from the docking port.
“Phew.”
The green-skinned man finally exhaled in relief. “He left with such a large entourage before a full day had even passed! And he even has three seventh-stage Mentalists!” He looked at the strength readings on his auxiliary optical brain and still felt his blood boiling.
Sixteen Stellar Level slaves.
One thousand ninth-stage Stellar Level slaves. Such an elite force could easily conquer ordinary planets.
…
In deep space above Qiulong.
Inside the Black Dragon spaceship’s control room.
Three fifth-stage and three seventh-stage Stellar Level slaves stood respectfully behind Luo Feng. Meanwhile, ten first-stage Stellar Level slaves were temporarily managing the one thousand ninth-stage slaves. These 1,100 individuals resided in the lower and middle decks of the Black Dragon spaceship.
“The spaceship has left Qiulong.”
On the control panel screen, the cute head of the little demon appeared. “We are now accelerating.”
A moment later.
“The spaceship will reach light speed in ten seconds and initiate cosmic travel.”
“8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1!”
The ship vibrated slightly.
It lasted for ten seconds.
“Travel successful. We have entered the dark universe.”
Luo Feng finally turned to face the six Heimeng race Stellar Level slaves behind him. Out of the 1016 slaves he had purchased, the six most powerful were all Heimengs. The other 1010 slaves were selected from the thirteen races Luo Feng had originally designated. These thirteen races shared a common trait—they closely resembled Earth humans in appearance and height.
“Heimeng race.” Luo Feng looked at the six—four males and two females.
The Heimeng males were extremely handsome, and the females were very beautiful, closely resembling Earth humans in appearance. The only difference was that when they opened their mouths, they had fangs, and their eyes were a deep red.
“What are your names?” Luo Feng asked.
“Master.” One of the seventh-stage Heimeng females smiled slightly. “My name, translated into the common galactic language, is ‘Ebola Shadeniennitasa.'”
“Master, my name is Waitala Kodenisentulade,” said one of the seventh-stage Heimeng males, a slightly more muscular man.
“Master…”
Each of the six gave their names in turn.
“Goodness.” Luo Feng was speechless.
Heimeng names were indeed long.
“From today on, I don’t care how you refer to each other in private,” Luo Feng said directly, pointing at the muscular seventh-stage male. “I will call you ‘Meng Yi.’ You will be ‘Meng Er,’ and you ‘Meng San.'” He continued swiftly, assigning names from Meng Yi to Meng Liu.
Among them, Meng San and Meng Liu were female.
“Yes, Master.”
The six Heimengs joyfully accepted their new names, though they exchanged helpless glances.
“You may all return to your cabins and rest,” Luo Feng ordered.
“Yes.” The six left.
Only Luo Feng remained in the control room as the door automatically closed.
“Ba Ba Ta, connect to the virtual cosmic network.” Luo Feng mentally commanded.
…
In the virtual cosmic world, on Heilong Mountain Island.
The bustling streets were filled with a constant flow of people. Occasionally, someone would appear out of thin air. Luo Feng also appeared in this sudden manner.
A small demon, the size of a fist, perched on Luo Feng’s shoulder.
“Mr. Luo Feng, we have detected your Cosmic Galaxy Bank account. Would you like to bind it?” A voice, soft and pleasant, appeared in Luo Feng’s mind.
“Bind it.” Luo Feng said.
The Cosmic Galaxy Bank account was linked to his mental imprint.
This virtual universe, connected to consciousness, also accepted mental imprints.
“Ba Ba Ta, proceed with the plan.” Luo Feng casually entered an old bar on the roadside, ordered a fruit juice, and sat in a corner.
“Luofeng, I’ve gathered some information. Within a radius of 30,000 light-years from Earth, there are many planets that meet your requirements. They could serve as our second base!” Babata said.
“Oh?” Luo Feng slightly frowned.
Earth was his home. He would strive to become Earth’s Lord, so naturally, Earth was his first base.
However…
Since the master of Yimo Star had ventured into the dark universe long ago and employed spatial arcane techniques to conceal the coordinates of Earth and its surrounding thousand-light-year radius, uncovering these hidden coordinates became an immensely arduous task. Even among the most formidable Immortal-level beings, only a rare few could accomplish such a feat. Thus, aside from Babata, who could effortlessly pinpoint the concealed coordinates,
No other spaceship could directly reach Earth!
They could only travel there slowly.
And in the future, Luo Feng would need to purchase a lot of metal and other resources, making it impossible for others to deliver them directly to Earth. Therefore—a second base must be chosen! This second base would serve as a receiving point for large quantities of metal and an important location for Luo Feng’s future interactions with many cosmic figures.
“As close to Earth as possible.”
“As cheap as possible.”
“The population of the planet should be as small as possible.”
“And the warehouse should be as large as possible.”
Luo Feng said.
He needed a large warehouse! In the universe, there were quite a few such warehouse businesses serving transportation.
In areas unsuitable for farming or human habitation, large-scale warehouses were commonly constructed.
“Luofeng, I found one that seems pretty good. It’s called Bailan Star, a planet in the Milky Way galaxy, located 11,800 light-years from Earth. Bailan Star is perpetually in an extremely cold state, with the coldest regions reaching about -120 degrees Celsius. The warmest areas are mostly around -10 degrees Celsius. The entire planet has a population of 2.1 billion, and due to the low temperatures, people mostly live in cities.”
“There’s a massive warehouse complex in the extremely cold region of Bailan Star. It’s 98 kilometers long and 61 kilometers wide. It’s currently up for sale, with permanent ownership priced at 800 million Silver-Blue Credits.” Babata explained. “After that, you only need to pay an annual planetary management tax of 600,000 Silver-Blue Credits.”
Luo Feng’s eyes lit up.
A warehouse complex 98 kilometers long and 61 kilometers wide? No wonder it was built for interstellar transportation—it was massive!
Such warehouses were usually constructed by pouring a mixture of spaceship and warship wreckage and debris. Although they were huge, the cost of building this warehouse complex… would absolutely not reach 100 million Silver-Blue Credits. Its high price was mainly due to the land itself. Of course, in such an extremely cold region, the cost of transforming it into a human settlement would be too high and of little practical use.
Selling it at this price was still quite reasonable.
“Alright, Babata, contact the authorities on Bailan Star and negotiate the deal.” Luo Feng said directly.
The negotiation lasted for over three hours.
Eventually, an agreement was reached with the Bailan Star administration. The warehouse complex’s permanent ownership was purchased for 800,000 Heilong Credits (the official exchange rate was 1 Heilong Credit = 1,000 Silver-Blue Credits, though in reality, the Heilong Credit was more valuable). Additionally, a 500-year management tax exemption was granted. The Heilong Credit was far more valuable than the Silver-Blue Credit; an average planetary resident might not even earn a single Heilong Credit in an entire year.
…
Time passed day by day.
Nine days later.
“We are approaching the cosmic coordinates of Bailan Star. Cosmic travel will commence in 320 seconds.” On the Black Dragon spaceship, Babata’s voice came from the control panel screen.
Luo Feng smiled.
Bailan Star was very close to Earth, just over ten thousand light-years away. At the speed of the Black Dragon spaceship, a round trip between Earth and Bailan Star could be completed in a single day.
