Chapter 426: Open Robbery

The Ape Demon is extremely powerful, exuding an aura of brutality so intense that it could frighten even Star Lord-level humans to death.

The stone club in its hand smashed down, shattering the surrounding rocks.

Lu Yu wasn’t a pushover either.

As the stone club of the Ape Demon came crashing down, Lu Yu also swung his fist and struck the Ape Demon in return.

Lu Yu Guang is the bone of Wang Zun, and has already integrated twelve pieces; these powers amount to the strength of one hundred and twenty. Combined with Lu Yu’s own power, his aura may seem slightly weaker, but his actual strength is even greater.

Boom!

Fists clashed with the stone club in Yuanmo’s hand, causing the club to rebound and crack in numerous places!

The Ape Demon took a big step back, his expression filled with terror.

The stone rod in his hand wasn’t made from any special stone either. The force generated by swinging it exceeded that of one hundred and twenty people—how could it possibly be blocked by just one human?

Ape Demon took a big step back, gripping the stone rod in his hand, and carefully examined Lu Yu.

They have encountered humans frequently during this period, and the number of humans they have killed is well over a thousand.

Among them, there are also many who are supreme.

However, it was the first time encountering a strong individual like Lu Yu.

Ape Demon’s expression was unusually solemn; his limbs’ muscles twitched and bulged as he began to gather his strength.

Lu Yu said coldly, “Don’t waste your energy. Cooperate and take me inside, and I’ll let you live.”

A furious blaze erupted from the eyes of the Ape Demon.

In the distance, the sound of footsteps could be heard approaching.

Moreover, within this, there was also mixed the sound of something crawling, like a snake.

These sounds came very quickly, and within a few seconds, they had all arrived in front of the cave.

Lu Yu recognized the person who had arrived.

Among them were creatures that looked almost human, except for their mouths that stretched all the way to their ear roots.

They have the upper body of a human, but their lower abdomen transforms into a snake-like humanoid creature, even more so resembling an ape demon.

Another form of life was entirely beastly, a pack of wolves. However, the eyes of these wolves sparkled with intelligence, and their mouths, like those of humans, flickered with a cold, mocking smile.

Lu Yu guessed that this was what humans called humanoid life.

There were nearly a hundred humanoid creatures gathered in front of the cave, and none of them were weak in power.

“There’s actually a human here,” a wolf sneered coldly at Lu Yu. “What’s the matter? Haven’t you humans been scared enough yet? How dare you show up in front of us again? You’re asking for death!”

Lu Yu was not one to back down, replying coldly, “I’m still short of a dog. If you want the job, come up and try!”

The wolf’s eyes blazed with green flames as it said, “I also need someone to be my slave—I think you’ll do.”

“Don’t waste your time here, hurry up and go inside. A group has already entered, and we’re already falling behind. This isn’t fake—it’s real,” said a snake-man, flicking his serpent’s tongue. “There will be plenty of chances to kill such trash later.”

Another wolf nodded and said, “It’s impressive that you found this place so quickly. Don’t waste time with humans anymore.”

The wolf snarled coldly, stepped over Lu Yu in one stride, and rushed into the cave: “Human, if you want to live, get out before I come back. Otherwise, I’ll be short one human slave.”

Next, more than a hundred humanoid lives followed them inside.

Neither Lu Yu nor Yuanmo moved.

Lu Yu gestured toward Yuanmo with a flick of his finger and coldly said, “Don’t waste my time. I’ll give you a chance—tell me everything you know about this place, then lead the way like a dog. Otherwise, I’ll kill you and go find another dog to guide me.”

“Human, you’re too arrogant,” snarled Yuan Mo, his teeth clenched as the stone club in his hand creaked under the pressure.

Boom!

Ape Demon hadn’t even moved yet when Lu Yu sprang into action.

Lu Yu rushed to the side of the ape demon in one step, his fist heavily striking the demon’s shoulder.

Bang!

The Ape Demon let out a pained grunt, feeling his shoulder blade unable to withstand such force, shattering under the impact.

“Tell me one more time, or I’ll make you speak!” Lu Yu’s right hand spread open, suddenly leaping up, and with one hand pressed down on the Sky Spirit’s crown, forcing it toward the ground.

“You dare!” Yuanmo roared in anger, guessing what Lu Yu was about to do, letting out a strange cry filled with humiliation as he struggled to rise.

Lu Yu was stronger. He pressed the ape demon’s head into the ground and clenched his fingers.

Bang!

The Ape Demon’s eyes widened in shock, unable to fathom that the person before them could be even more ruthless than himself.

It could feel its own crown of the head being crushed, and spewing brain matter from its mouth and nose was its final consciousness.

“One down!” Lu Yu tossed the corpse of the ape demon into his storage space and then stepped into the stone cave as well.

As soon as he stepped forward with one foot, the next step felt like a spatial leap, transporting him into a valley.

The valley floor was a deep red, with the earth cracked like a tortoise shell, and lava flowing along the fissures.

Occasionally, flames would shoot up from the ground, reaching several meters high.

The hot air surrounded them in waves, so intense that even the breath of heat felt as if it could dry out a person’s lungs.

Lu Yu looked up and realized he had arrived underground. Hundreds of zhang above his head was a red glow, and to his surprise, a fiery red liquid was flowing overhead.

He arrived only a short while after the Snake People and other beings, yet he found that there wasn’t a single trace of life left in the vicinity.

Lu Yu saw a skeleton of a snake-man on the ground.

The snake man was already charred, his chest pierced through from behind by sharp claws.

“No one wanted the supreme body, so I grabbed it for a bargain.” Lu Yu was not modest at all and directly collected the serpent warrior’s body.

The valley stretched boundless before the eyes, all in a vast expanse of crimson red, even the sky seemed as if it were ablaze with flames.

Lu Yu had even been to the Earth’s core, so the heat here had no effect on him at all.

He stepped on the ground with his shoes long worn out.

Lu Yu took off his shoes and walked barefoot among the rocks. The lava splashed onto his feet, feeling comfortably warm like hot water.

Feeling the heat of the flames, Lu Yu’s internal fiery energy began to tremble slightly, connecting with the land beneath his feet.

Lu Yu took a deep breath and walked barefoot through the sea of fire, each step as if connecting with the flames beneath.

He sensed the pulsation of flames, as if transmitted from somewhere.

“The air was thick with the scent of flames; there was a place here that rivaled even the earth’s core.” Lu Yu keenly sensed that location, yet he couldn’t determine where it was!

Lu Yu walked forward, and the air around him became increasingly hot, but it had no effect on him at all.

He walked for more than ten miles. All around him were nothing but small volcanoes and the vast, red terrain.

Lu Yu came across a number of corpses, some human and some from humanoid lifeforms.

It seemed as if a battle had taken place during the advance, with no one bothering to handle the corpses.

Lu Yu leapt with joy as he collected dozens of supreme bones.

Finally, Lu Yu saw a sea of lava ahead.

The lava sea stretched endlessly on both sides, with no telling how long it extended, and ahead, its width was unknown, with no visible end in sight.

Before the Lava Sea, several groups of humanoid beings stared at the sea of lava with furrowed brows, all bowing their heads and discussing something among themselves.

A snake person stared at the wolf pack and coldly said, “Has everyone here decided to break their promises? There should have been ferries here, yet not a single one remains. Where have your people taken the boats?”

The wild wolf said, “Aren’t all your people gone too? We’re all the same. They left ahead, leaving us behind. Huh—?”

The wild wolf caught the scent of a human, turned its head to look back, and discovered that Lu Yu had actually followed him. It narrowed its eyes and coldly sneered, “Human, you must be a fool. Coming in after me, it seems you really want to become a slave.”

The wild wolf turned around, fixed its gaze on Lu Yu, and said, “Kneel before me and swear your loyalty. If I’m in a good mood, I might even grant you something to show off among humans.”

The wild wolf was extremely proud, holding its head high. Its fur swayed with the warm breeze, displaying an air of majesty.

A serpent person noticed Lu Yu’s bare feet and squinted his eyes, saying, “Interesting, walking barefoot on this land. It seems you possess some ability to resist flames! How about I give you a piece of Blue Planet Soul? If you obediently stay here and follow my orders, I can guarantee that you will leave this place alive!”

The odd man with the large mouth and snake-like tongue sneered, “It’s not easy to find such a person. Perhaps we can use him to figure out a way through here.”

“You have the Soul of Blue Planet?” Lu Yu looked up at the serpent man, somewhat astonished.

He casually used the Soul of Blue Star to tempt her, and it seemed that the snake person had more than one piece of it on her body!

“Good girl, listen to me, and this piece will be yours.” The snake man took a stone from his backpack and weighed it in his hand a few times before saying, “I think you understand the effect this Blue Star Soul has on your kind, don’t you?”

Lu Yu stared at the snake man and coldly said, “Give me the backpack you’re carrying, and I’ll consider letting you leave alive.”

Lu Yu was even more arrogant than a wild wolf, causing a slight shock among the hundreds of humanoid lives.

As Lu Yu spoke, he walked to the edge of the lava sea and felt as if there was some form of life within it!

“Human, this is not your world. Don’t be too arrogant,” a ape demon said coldly. “You know nothing about this place, yet you dare to be so arrogant. Just this sea alone can leave you not even a scrap of bone.”

“I’m short of a guide, but I think that dog would do,” Lu Yu ignored the ape demon and looked toward the wild wolf that had spoken rudely at the exit. “Just to ask you one last time, are you willing to be a dog?”

“Are all human heads really as stupid as yours?” the wild wolf growled furiously, claws digging into the ground. Suddenly, it sprang forward, its body launching like a cannonball straight toward Lu Yu.

The wild wolf was extremely fast, its bared fangs as sharp as knives, snapping down toward Lu Yu’s neck.

His body was still in mid-air when suddenly it smashed down onto the ground where Lu Yu was standing.

“Oh!”

The surrounding humanoid lives widened their eyes.

They made sure to see it clearly; Lu Yu reached out and pressed his hand directly onto the wolf’s head, pushing it down into the ground.

“Let go!” The wild wolf snarled in resistance as its head was forced down, its limbs thrashing against the ground in persistent struggle.

“You’re not the only one who can refuse to be a dog,” Lu Yu said, gripping the wild wolf’s head with his five fingers, lifting it up, and then plunging it entirely into the sea of lava beside him.

“Au!”

The wild wolf let out a piercing, eerie howl, and the moment its fur came into contact with the lava, it began to emit a burnt, charred smell.

It tried to struggle, but Lu Yu’s hands were faster, pressing all the wolves into the lava, even submerging his own hands into it.

The lava rolled and churned, emitting a burnt meat smell that made everyone nearby feel uneasy.

“He, he put his hand into the lava!”

The humanoid beings’ hearts pounded rapidly.

This person is so ruthless that he doesn’t even care about his own hand.

The struggle within the lava ceased, and Lu Yu withdrew his hand!

His arms were not even slightly damaged. The wolf he held was nothing more than a skeleton, its flesh and blood already reduced to pulp.

Lu Yu unceremoniously collected the wolf bones as well, then turned to the snake person and said, “I told you, hand over your pack and I’ll guarantee your safe exit. Give it to me now—I won’t say this again!”

Lu Yu stared at the snake man, extending one hand to demand something.
