Chapter 894: The Three Supreme Powers

The sound of Buddhist chants lingered, as if divine music from the heavens, while golden rays of light spread across the sky, enveloping the world in a serene and peaceful aura.

A massive golden lotus platform emerged in the void, and atop it stood the Buddha himself.

The Buddha’s expression was solemn, revealing no hint of emotion, yet within, a raging fury burned in his heart.

He could not tolerate the humiliation of being bested by a mere human, a being no more significant than an ant, despite being the ultimate existence.

“It’s you again,” Lin Fan’s heart sank, sensing that something ominous was about to unfold.

At that moment, the newly ascended eternal deity, Sakya, awakened. Upon seeing the figure before him, he was equally startled, his heart pounding with alarm.

Behind the Buddha, Ji Zai (the chick) peered around with beady, nervous eyes. To him, these beings were terrifyingly powerful.

“Hail the Buddha!” the various race kings exclaimed in reverence.

Upon seeing the beings before him, the race kings were overwhelmed with shock. They never expected the supreme Buddha of the Buddhist race to appear here.

The Buddha gazed upon these lesser beings and softly intoned, “Amitabha.”

He held no grudge against these younger beings, but he couldn’t ignore the ultimate powers behind them. To the Buddha, nothing pleased him more than converting these so-called juniors, bringing them under the Buddhist fold to serve his will.

“Bald monk, what brings you here? Haven’t you learned your lesson yet?” Lin Fan stood firm, unyielding, shouting defiantly.

His words shocked the gathered beings of the great races—they couldn’t believe someone dared speak so brazenly to the ultimate Buddha himself.

“Amitabha,” the Buddha intoned calmly, neither angered nor pleased. He could not afford to lose composure before these juniors. Then he spoke, “You should all leave now.”

Though reluctant, the kings who had not attained eternal godhood obeyed the Buddha’s command. They cast one last glance at Lin Fan and Sakya before vanishing into the void, departing from this realm.

Once the crowd had dispersed, the Buddha’s dignified expression darkened, his face twisting into a grimace of fury. “You wretched being, today I shall eradicate you both.”

“Hah!” Lin Fan burst into laughter, his expression filled with disdain. “You? Don’t you remember who got beaten like a dog last time?”

“Remember this: if I could beat you once, I can do it again,” Lin Fan declared.

“Brother, are you really that confident?” Sakya asked hesitantly, though his tone betrayed doubt.

“Shut up and stay put,” Lin Fan replied sternly.

At that moment, Lin Fan felt a strange sense of impending danger, an inexplicable premonition.

“Monk, is this the human you spoke of? His power seems pitifully weak.”

“This frail human must have some hidden talent to provoke you to the point of summoning our aid.”

Suddenly, two powerful voices echoed from the void.

Upon hearing them, Lin Fan’s body stiffened, his eyes flashing with alarm. Just as he had feared—the bald monk had brought reinforcements.

Buzz!

The void trembled. A river of stars surged forth, condensing into a towering figure standing between heaven and earth.

Simultaneously, a dark veil spread across the sky, swallowing all light. Endless darkness surged forward, and a mysterious young man, hands behind his back, gazed down at Lin Fan as though regarding an insect.

“Good heavens!”

At the sight of these two newcomers, Lin Fan was utterly stunned. Was this their way of cornering someone until there was no escape?

This was an overwhelming situation with no chance of recovery.

“You two have arrived,” the Buddha said calmly.

“Of course. Since we had an agreement, why wouldn’t we come? But this human is surprisingly weak—just a Supreme King. Crushing him would be effortless. So, was it really this human who humiliated you?” the Star Ancestor mused with a smile, examining Lin Fan with mild curiosity but finding nothing extraordinary.

“Kill the wretched human,” the Night Demon Ancestor said coldly.

To these ultimate beings, Lin Fan was beneath their notice.

Lin Fan felt his mind reel—this situation was spiraling beyond his expectations.

He hadn’t anticipated the Buddha would pursue him relentlessly, offering no breathing room.

Even more shocking was the Buddha’s audacity in seeking help from others.

And not just any helpers—both were ultimate existences. Even one-on-one, Lin Fan had no confidence in defeating them, let alone facing three together. If a battle broke out, he would be utterly crushed.

“Brother, what do we do now?” Sakya sensed an abyss-like power radiating from the two newcomers, realizing their terrifying might.

Though Lin Fan was formidable, he was no match for them.

“What else can we do? We run.”

In an instant, Lin Fan activated the Ancient Holy Altar, preparing to flee.

“Heh, this little human dares flee before me, the Star Ancestor? How amusing,” the Star Ancestor chuckled. With a flick of his finger, he pulled Lin Fan out from the void.

“Fascinating. He can connect to other worlds, but still lacks the finesse,” the Star Ancestor remarked with a smile.

Lin Fan’s expression changed. He hadn’t expected the Ancient Holy Altar to be detected.

This was something he had never even considered.

“Fleeing before us is nothing but a fool’s dream,” the Buddha said darkly.

Three ultimate beings ganging up on a single Supreme King—such a tale would be laughed at if it ever spread.

“What more is there to say of such insects?” the Night Demon Ancestor suddenly struck, unleashing a palm strike that erupted with immense power. Even a casual blow from such a being was beyond Lin Fan’s ability to resist.

“Explode!”

In an instant, Lin Fan ignited his Holy Yang Pill, throwing a punch that collided head-on with the palm strike. A tremendous force erupted from the impact.

Spit!

Lin Fan was sent reeling backward, his eyes filled with grim realization.

He hadn’t expected such devastating power from a casual strike, even with the Holy Yang Pill burned for strength.

“Fascinating,” the Night Demon Ancestor sneered, a cold smile curling his lips.

Lin Fan was furious. Damn it all.

“Ding! Night Demon Clan’s favorability decreased. Hostility acquired.”

“Ding! Star Clan’s favorability decreased. Hostility acquired.”

Lin Fan had expected this—both clans’ favorability plummeted.

“Cluck!” Ji Zai flew to Lin Fan’s side, distressed at seeing blood at the corner of his mouth. He angrily flapped his wings at the three mighty beings.

“You despicable creatures! I, Ji Zai, shall peck you to death!”

“Ji Zai, retreat!” Lin Fan hurled Ji Zai into Sakya’s arms and began thinking furiously.

The situation was dire—he had to find a way out, fast.
