Chapter 226: The Red Cloud King

“Hand over the woman who feeds milk, or I shall devour you all! Roar–“

“Ahh!” How could ordinary humans resist such might? Amid the terrified crowd fleeing in panic, a young woman in her prime, exuding the fragrance of milk, was especially frightened. Before she could flee, a monstrous hand, as large as a millstone, swept through the air, seizing the nursing woman and lifting her into the sky.

“Ahh… Help! Please, don’t eat me…”

The demon soared into the clouds, leaving behind the woman’s piercing screams. Dark clouds gathered over Zunlong City, yet the anticipated appearance of the supreme ruler never came.

High above in the sky, atop a crimson cloud, the triumphant demon was ecstatic, dancing about joyfully on the floating mist.

Perhaps the demon’s odd behavior distracted the woman, who curiously studied him up and down. No longer screaming, she asked curiously, “Great King Red Cloud, why do you specifically target nursing women?”

“Thud!” The demon, nearly two zhang tall, immediately fell flat on his face before her. He didn’t rush to get up, instead puffing his cheeks angrily, “What did you just say? When did I ever say I was going to eat you? Roar—I’m so mad I could burst!”

After a brief pause, Great King Red Cloud leaned his blood-red mouth close to the woman, inhaled deeply in ecstasy, then opened wide his demon eyes and asked earnestly, “By the way, is human flesh delicious? What exactly does it taste like?”

“N-no, not delicious at all!” The woman waved her hands frantically, but instead of fear, her eyes now sparkled with amusement. Such a demon was truly a once-in-a-century sight.

Great King Red Cloud leaned in even closer, his expression full of disdain, “Have you ever eaten human flesh? If not, how do you know it’s not delicious? Do you people cook human meat like chickens and ducks?”

“N-no, I’ve never eaten any!” The woman’s face turned bright red, her features scrunching together in confusion, looking more peculiar by the second.

Suddenly, the demon stood up, patted his belly, grabbed the woman in his hand, and opened his gaping maw, “I’m hungry! I’m going to eat your milk! Hurry up and take off your clothes!”

The woman was first startled, then stunned, unable to respond for a long while. Pointing at the demon and then at her own chest, she stammered, “Y-you… you want to eat… eat my milk? Not me?!”

“Annoying! Why are you so troublesome, woman!”

The demon grew tired of explaining. He hooked his finger and tore off her clothes in one motion, then bit down hard on her fragrant breast.

“Ahh!”

The twin peaks were bitten off in an instant. Startled, the demon jumped back, spat out the “nipple,” and out flew two large white buns.

“Heh, heh… Sorry about that, lady. I really can’t conjure up the real thing, so I had to use buns instead.”

The woman smiled, but her voice sounded like a man’s. Her graceful figure flowed like water, silently transforming into a slovenly rogue with a crooked posture.

“Ahh, it’s you!”

Qiao San wanted to tease him a little more before acting, but unexpectedly, Great King Red Cloud seemed to recognize him. As soon as he saw Qiao San, he immediately leaped away in terror, moving incredibly fast, vanishing a hundred zhang away in an instant.

“Come back!”

Qiao San flicked his wrist, and a yellow and black long whip yanked the demon back. Since surviving the sixth of ten deadly trials, Qiao San’s magical powers had greatly improved, and his integration with the Earth Treatise had advanced further. His Tai Xu Divine Armor was now capable of transforming and casting spells.

“Heh, heh… You scoundrel, if you’re going to be a demon, just be a regular demon. Why must you be such a perverted one? Hmph! Do you think you’re a baby, wanting to suckle milk?”

Qiao San was both amused and exasperated. He never expected a “living treasure” like this to be causing chaos in the human world.

Before Qiao San finished speaking, the captured Great King Red Cloud finally displayed the ferocity expected of a demon. Without warning, he spat out a fireball directly at Qiao San’s head.

“Bang!” The rogue wasn’t prepared for this trick from the perverted demon. Caught off guard, the mighty rogue king was scorched black from head to toe, his hair standing straight up.

“Roar!”

Qiao San let out a roar even more terrifying than the demon’s. If it weren’t for the fire techniques he had learned at the Fire Island, he might have been seriously injured or even killed by that attack. Enraged at nearly dying in such a ridiculous way, he roared and flicked his wrist, summoning a deafening bolt of heavenly thunder.

“Daddy, have mercy! Waaah…” As soon as the thunder cracked, the two-zhang-tall demon suddenly sat down on the cloud, sobbing loudly, wiping his eyes with his hands as tears poured like rain.

“You… you called me… Daddy!”

Qiao San’s fingers were still crackling with electricity, but he felt as if he himself had been struck by lightning. After a moment, he shook his head furiously, then suddenly flew into a rage, “Hmph! You pervert actually wants to call me Dad? You’re asking for death, ya!”

“Daddy, I was wrong! Waaah…”

The demon’s massive body shrank rapidly. In an instant, a little girl of about five or six years old appeared before Qiao San—wearing a bellyband, her hair tied in twin pigtails, and looking utterly adorable.

“Ahh!”

Qiao San was stunned again. When the little girl’s tear-filled eyes met his, the thunder in the sky instantly vanished. Looking at this delicate, sweet little girl, he couldn’t help but feel a warm surge of affection.

A bloodline instinct surged through his limbs and bones, and a sense of familial connection made Qiao San suddenly understand, “You’re the little demon girl of Yu Shan Sheng! You’re really my daughter?!”

“Bang!”

Before Qiao San could finish his stunned question, the pitiful little demon girl suddenly rushed forward, ramming straight into Qiao San’s stomach, making him grimace in pain. She then accused him first, “Hmph! You don’t even recognize your own daughter. What an idiot!”

Qiao San felt the pain but was secretly delighted, his heart pounding with joy. This was truly his daughter—ha, ha… he actually had such a lovely daughter—ha, ha…

Overwhelmed, his lips twitched, and a silly grin broke across his face. At this moment, compared to the mighty rogue he had been earlier, he looked like a complete fool.

“Wah, Mommy is coming too, look!”

As Qiao San turned his head, the little girl immediately whooshed away, and on her way out, she even stole the yellow whip tied around his waist.

Halfway through turning around, Qiao San immediately understood. By the time he looked back, the little girl was already far away. For the first time in his life, Qiao San was tricked by someone—and yet he couldn’t help but smile happily.
