Chapter 127: Monster Molests a Young Girl

“Not bad, I guess I didn’t misjudge you…”

Seeing Shui Miao so straightforward, Yu Nan was also happy. While saving the number into her phone, she asked, “But what if I can’t go back tonight since I have to work the night shift?”

“You guess what—I could go find Captain Wang and ask him to grant you leave. Do you think he’d agree?” Shui Miao glanced at the time—it had just passed 23:00.

Upon hearing this, Yu Nan’s eyes lit up. She jumped up and kissed Shui Miao on the face.

Shui Miao wiped the drool off his face, slightly overwhelmed. Could this be another Liu Hongmei?

Shui Miao found Captain Wang and managed to get three hours off for Yu Nan, then rushed straight to Yu Nan’s relative’s house.

Captain Wang and the two young male interns couldn’t help but whistle in understanding—three hours would be more than enough time for multiple things to happen…

To Shui Miao’s surprise, Yu Nan’s relative’s home was located within the same Red Army residential compound as Uncle Zhang’s place. However, it wasn’t in the same building. Zhang’s house was in Building No. 6, while Yu Nan’s relatives lived in Building No. 17. This building stood at the northernmost edge of the compound. Just beyond it was the compound’s wall, and beyond that wall was a large garbage transfer station. The air here was often poor, so this building had the lowest property value in the entire compound.

Of course, precisely because of this, the residents living here were mostly families with modest financial conditions.

As the old saying goes, when you’re down on your luck, even drinking cold water can get stuck in your teeth.

However, many people don’t realize that when a house has poor feng shui, the probability of misfortune increases exponentially.

In fact, it can even lead to family ruin and personal disaster!

This building had its feng shui ruined by the garbage station, causing the residents to suffer misfortunes. Many families frequently experienced strange illnesses that couldn’t be cured by any medical treatment. However, if they burned joss paper and offered food at the back of the building, these strange illnesses would miraculously disappear. Over time, whenever they fell ill, the residents would instinctively burn paper and offer food, and gradually this became a habit.

As soon as Shui Miao arrived here, he could sense thick, murky, polluted qi. This qi appeared dark yellow, mixed with a large amount of rotting stench—especially severe during the summer and autumn seasons. This kind of stench was extremely harmful, similar in nature to the foul odors found in public restrooms.

Of course, for people living here regularly, this smell had become almost imperceptible unless it was particularly strong.

This was precisely why their luck never seemed to improve.

Let’s talk about feng shui here, not in dry, clichéd terms or using complex jargon, but simply in plain language. When we say feng shui, the wind comes first and is the most important. Wind is essentially a general term for various kinds of qi. Among these, rotting and poisonous qi are always the most harmful.

Therefore, Shui Miao immediately identified the root problem—it was an issue of house feng shui.

In feng shui theory, the concept of having a “mountain behind” is very significant.

Yet, not only was there no such “mountain” behind this building, but instead there was a garbage transfer station, indicating how unfavorable this housing situation was.

“Come on, why are you not moving?”

Yu Nan reached the stairwell and felt the silence behind her. She turned around and saw Shui Miao standing more than ten meters back, scanning the surroundings. “Hey, are you scared?”

“Do you think I’m like you?”

Shui Miao coldly replied and walked toward the stairwell.

Just now, Shui Miao had been using his mind’s eye to sense the presence of evil spirits. He detected a malevolent spirit currently molesting a young woman in her twenties inside this building.

“Hurry!”

Shui Miao quickened his pace, overtook Yu Nan in a few steps, and stopped at the second-floor door, urging, “Hurry up and knock!”

“Huh? How do you know my relatives live here?”

Seeing Shui Miao so familiar with the place, Yu Nan felt surprised.

Shui Miao replied coldly, “What’s so strange about that? I’m a top-tier feng shui master. If I didn’t even know this much, how could I survive in this business?”

He spoke very seriously, clearly not joking.

Yu Nan stared at Shui Miao and gently knocked on the door…

“Can’t you knock harder?”

Shui Miao reached out and pounded heavily on the door, then suddenly lowered his voice and said, “That monster is currently molesting your relative.”

“How… how do you know that?” Yu Nan looked at Shui Miao as if he were some kind of monster.

Shui Miao shook his head, unwilling to explain. After a pause, he quickly told Yu Nan, “Her parents don’t know there’s an evil spirit in her room right now. She’s lying there completely naked. I’m a man, so it’s inconvenient for me to go in first. You should rush in and cover her with a blanket first, then I’ll come in to deal with the evil spirit.”

“What?! An evil spirit!”

Yu Nan wasn’t very brave. Upon hearing the word “evil spirit,” she immediately grabbed Shui Miao’s arm, too scared to even think about going in to cover her cousin with a blanket.

“Hmm?”

Shui Miao suddenly narrowed his eyes. He sensed an elderly woman walking out of the room with her eyes closed. “Is your cousin’s mother blind?”

“H-how do you know that too?” Yu Nan was so nervous she was trembling.

“Shut up! I already told you I’m a top feng shui master. Just hurry up and talk—get your relatives to open the door,” Shui Miao shook off Yu Nan’s hand and lowered his voice, not wanting to scare the evil spirit away.

Yu Nan quickly swallowed hard, knocked on the door while calling out, “Auntie, it’s me, Yu Nan! Open the door, I need to see my cousin for something!”

“Oh! I thought who it was—so it’s you, Lanzi!”

Upon hearing Yu Nan’s voice, the elderly woman quickly opened the door.

As soon as the door opened, Shui Miao tiptoed and swiftly slipped under the old woman’s arm, rushing inside directly toward the room. His speed left Yu Nan stunned, as if she had just seen a ghost.

Reaching the bedroom door, Shui Miao formed a hand sign with his fingers, silently chanting a spell. Suddenly, from a distance, he pushed his hand forward. Before even touching the door, it slammed open with a loud bang. Stepping into the room, Shui Miao saw a young girl with skin as smooth and white as lotus roots lying on the bed with her legs spread wide. Her eyes were wide with terror, darting around helplessly, unable to utter a sound or move even slightly. On her bare body, Shui Miao saw a huge humanoid monster. The creature’s body was pitch black, covered in thick black fur, with enormous eyes—like a grotesque fusion of a human and a hound. It crouched over the girl, its reddish-brown appendage pressing against her private area, quivering rhythmically.

Startled by Shui Miao’s sudden intrusion, the monster was taken aback!

It turned its head and stared directly at Shui Miao, its mouth wide open with a long tongue hanging out, while its hips continued thrusting in a steady, piston-like motion…

It assumed Shui Miao couldn’t see it…

The moment Shui Miao saw it, he immediately whispered six syllables of a banishing chant. Instantly, the monster was enveloped in a holy light and, in the blink of an eye, transformed into a cloud of black mist that filled the room!

“Ahhhh!”

The girl on the bed suddenly regained movement and screamed in terror!

Shui Miao looked at her body and felt puzzled. She should have been emaciated and weak from the monster’s torment, yet her figure was full and curvaceous, her belly slightly rounded. Why was that?
