Chapter 975: The One Who Knows

“Tsk, Nineteen,” Saturday called out. “Do me a favor—I’ve got something to say.”

Yun Nineteen frowned slightly upon hearing this. “Sixth Sister, what’s it about?”

“About the ‘Cat,'” Saturday replied.

With a hint of reluctance, Yun Nineteen spoke up. “Sixth Sister… isn’t this against the rules?”

“Tsk, what’s the problem?” Saturday retorted. “I’m just asking for your help. Why so difficult?”

“Sixth Sister… forgive me,” Yun Nineteen said, lowering his head. “Fifth Brother specifically ordered that for major confidential matters regarding the ‘Cat,’ he must be present. Otherwise, could you ask him to join the meeting? That way, I won’t be in such a tough spot.”

“It’s fine,” Chen Junnan interjected. “Just treat this as if it’s for me. If anything goes wrong, I’ll take responsibility.”

“You…” Nineteen stared at Chen Junnan in silence for a few seconds.

“You were there last time we talked. You should know who I am, right?” Chen Junnan said. “When it comes to matters about the ‘Cat,’ I have the authority to make decisions.”

Nineteen glanced at Weekend, then at Chen Junnan and Jiang Ruoxue, sensing that the situation was a bit complicated. These “big shots” seemed to have him caught between a rock and a hard place.

After a long pause, he finally spoke. “Alright… but I’ll stay and listen the whole time. If anything goes wrong, I’ll call Fifth Brother immediately.”

“Fine, suit yourself,” Chen Junnan nodded.

The next second, a strange domain unfurled, enveloping all four people in the room.

Jiang Ruoxue, experiencing the “Silence” space for the first time, felt as though she had gone deaf. Not a single faint sound reached her ears, plunging her into absolute stillness.

After a few seconds of silence, she spoke to Saturday. “Weekend, tomorrow’s the day…”

“Tsk, tomorrow? So soon?” Saturday frowned.

“Exactly. Tomorrow morning, Qi Xia will take Zhichun to the ‘Earth Dragon’ game. That’s when we’ll need to gather our people,” Jiang Ruoxue said without hesitation. “We’ve already set the ’cause and effect’—if Yan Zhichun needs help, we’ll send a message to all surviving ‘Extremists.’ Do you remember that?”

“I remember…” Saturday replied, though her expression was troubled.

“What’s with that look…?” Jiang Ruoxue asked. “At this point… you’re not hesitating, are you?”

“No… tsk.” Saturday sighed. “Go on. What’s the plan after gathering everyone?”

“I… don’t know,” Jiang Ruoxue admitted. “Zhichun must be trying to protect me or ensure the plan goes smoothly. She hasn’t told me the details yet. All I know is we need to gather everyone and wait for her next instructions.”

“Wait for her instructions…?” Saturday sounded puzzled. “Tsk, is this supposed to happen alongside the ‘Earth Dragon’ game?”

“No…” Jiang Ruoxue glanced at Chen Junnan with a complicated expression before continuing. “Zhichun decided to slightly adjust White Sheep’s plan and execute it after the ‘Earth Dragon’ game. Even White Sheep himself might not know about this. But she’s doing it for the sake of us ‘Extremists.'”

“E-everyone…” Yun Nineteen interrupted Jiang Ruoxue’s explanation.

“What…?” Jiang Ruoxue turned to him. “Is this already serious enough to call Fifth Brother?”

“N-no.” Yun Nineteen shook his head.

Listening to their conversation, something suddenly clicked in his mind.

“White Sheep,” “gathering everyone,” “plan.”

Whether by sheer coincidence or not, he had been present when White Sheep first revealed this plan.

Back then, he hadn’t yet pierced his ears to block out the world, so he had heard the first part of the plan loud and clear.

But no matter how he looked at it, this sounded like an “Extremist” plan… What did Saturday have to do with it?

Countless questions swirled in Nineteen’s mind, shaking his convictions.

“If you have something to say, just say it,” Jiang Ruoxue urged. “Is there something you don’t understand…?”

“…Sixth Sister,” Yun Nineteen asked, “are you sure this really involves the ‘Cat’?”

Nineteen hadn’t intended to reveal that he knew about the plan—after all, it was the client’s privacy.

But this bizarre plan was clearly fraught with danger. If it threatened the “Cat,” he had no choice but to speak up.

“Exactly,” Saturday nodded. “Tsk, once this plan is ‘executed,’ the ‘Cat’ will likely get dragged into it.”

Nineteen didn’t fully grasp the implications, but a wild possibility occurred to him. “Sixth Sister… are you an ‘Extremist’…?”

“Tsk, yes,” Saturday admitted. “Nineteen, I’ve always been an ‘Extremist’—but I’m also part of the ‘Cat.'”

“You…” Nineteen froze, disbelief flashing in his eyes. “S-sixth Sister, whether you’ll listen to me or not, we can’t be part of this ‘plan’… You shouldn’t get involved either. These people are challenging an unshakable force here… If you act with them, you’re leading the entire ‘Cat’ to its doom.”

The three of them stared at Yun Nineteen, their expressions unreadable.

Though the situation was bizarre, none of them were ordinary. Within seconds, they pieced together the hidden truth.

“No wonder only White Sheep and Zhichun knew about this…” Jiang Ruoxue murmured. “At the time… you were there too?”

“I…” Yun Nineteen hesitated. “Yes… I was there. This whole thing is too unbelievable, Sixth Sister… If the ‘Extremists’ want to die, let them. But the ‘Cat’ can’t be part of it.”

Saturday said nothing, silently fiddling with her earring.

“Sixth Sister… if you don’t agree, I’ll have to go find Fifth Brother right now,” Yun Nineteen said. “I’ve always respected you, and you’ve never done anything to harm the ‘Cat.’ So give up now, and I’ll keep your identity a secret. I’ll act like this never happened.”

Seeing Yun Nineteen’s resolute stance, even Chen Junnan felt tense for Weekend. But Jiang Ruoxue and Saturday remained unfazed.

“W-what…?” Yun Nineteen stammered. “Sixth Sister, why are you looking at me like that?”

“Tsk, Nineteen…” Saturday said calmly. “To you, I’m a ‘traitor,’ someone ready to lead the entire ‘Cat’ to its death…”

“Aren’t you…?”

“But Fifth Brother has known all along,” Saturday revealed. “He’s always known my identity. I never hid it from him.”

“What…?”

“So go ahead and tell him if you want,” Saturday continued. “After all, when the ‘Extremists’ launch their plan, it’ll also be the moment the ‘Cat’ executes its final mission.”
