After the Earth Dog finished speaking, someone with keen senses glanced inside the room and sensed something was off.

At that moment, four people were engaged in a violent brawl. To get all four “Earth-level” individuals drunk would require an enormous amount of alcohol, yet the room clearly didn’t have that many bottles lying around.

Behind the crowd stood a tall, heavily bandaged Earth Rabbit. Ever since the fight broke out inside, he had been leaning to the side, peering into the room as if assessing something.

The Earth Dog found the man vaguely unfamiliar but chose to ignore him. Instead, he addressed the crowd again: “There’s really no need to gather here. I guarantee no one will die tonight. It’s just a fight—haven’t you seen one before?”

Though it was “just a fight,” this was a clash between “Earth-level” beings. Typically, “Earth-level” individuals valued their lives more than any other “Zodiac.” How could they suddenly be brawling like this?

The last time such a large-scale fight occurred was between Aries and the Earth Snake—back then, the Earth Snake had several bones broken and spent months recovering.

Now, with four people fighting at once, wouldn’t the outcome be even more concerning than that incident?

“Um…” The tall Earth Rabbit spoke up from behind the crowd. “Need help breaking it up?”

“No need,” the Earth Dog replied with a faint smile. “Right now, this is ‘off-duty time’ for you all, isn’t it? You’d be better off grabbing something good to eat. I’ll handle things here.”

After brushing them off, the Earth Dog turned to close the door—only to feel an immense force holding it in place.

It was the Earth Rabbit again.

“What?” The Earth Dog turned back and saw the Rabbit had already pushed through the crowd to stand before him. Instantly cautious, his eyes flickered with irritation.

“Need help breaking it up?” the Earth Rabbit repeated.

“No. Thanks,” the Earth Dog replied flatly.

“Are you sure…?” The Rabbit frowned, his ears twitching slightly. “I’m the Earth Rabbit.”

“Rabbit…?”

Only then did the Earth Dog understand the implication.

This tall, gray-white rabbit must have overheard his earlier conversation with the Corporate Rat. Though his hearing wasn’t sharp enough to serve as the entire train’s ears, at this close range, he could have easily caught every word.

Slowly, the Earth Dog opened the door wider and studied the Earth Rabbit, finding the situation odd.

Despite being a physically imposing Earth-level, the Rabbit’s bandages were soaked with blood, clearly from severe injuries.

There had been no recent reports of fights among other Zodiacs—had a “participant” done this to him?

A thought nagged at the Earth Dog: *Was this Rabbit injured by a participant?*

“What exactly do you want…?” the Earth Dog pressed again.

It was rare for four Earth-level beings to fight. Most Zodiacs would avoid getting involved to steer clear of trouble, yet this man not only eavesdropped but was now forcing his way in.

“I told you—I want to stop the fight,” the Earth Rabbit insisted, his hand still firmly on the door, refusing to back down.

The Earth Dog narrowed his eyes, considering. If the Rabbit had wanted to expose the situation, he could have done so outright.

But he seemed intent on keeping it quiet. *Could he be another one of Aries’ planted “seeds”?*

Thinking deeper, if a participant had managed to corner and injure an Earth-level Zodiac this badly, they must have been extraordinary. That explanation made sense.

But *how* had Aries pulled this off?

How could he participate in multiple “Earth-level” games in a single day and sway minds so effectively?

Was there some kind of elite “Aries Squad” operating outside?

“Fine… If you’re not afraid of dying, come in.”

After exchanging a glance, the two stepped inside and shut the door behind them.

The Corporate Rat, witnessing this, was naturally confused. His intention had been for the Earth Dog to disperse the onlookers to prevent further involvement—yet now he’d brought another Earth-level inside.

Now, the small room held a staggering *seven* Earth-level Zodiacs.

Four were locked in a deadly fight, while the remaining three simply watched in silence.

“Boss Dog, what’s this about?” the Earth Rat asked.

“No idea,” the Slacker Dog replied indifferently, taking a seat. “Seems like he’s here to die. I couldn’t stop him or chase him off.”

The Earth Rabbit pressed a hand to his bandaged wounds and gave them a slight nod. “I promised someone today that if I noticed anything unusual among the other Zodiacs, I’d check it out.”

“That’s it?” The Slacker Dog thought for a moment. “Was the person who asked you to do this a quiet, meticulous young man?”

“Uh…” The Earth Rabbit paused, recalling Chen Junan’s smug face. “I guess you could *barely* call him ‘meticulous,’ but ‘quiet’ is a stretch… The guy wouldn’t shut up—drove me nuts…”

“Wait… So there’s someone *else* doing this too?” The Earth Rat glanced at the Earth Dog.

The Earth Dog shook his head. Too many coincidences stopped being coincidental.

He trusted his instincts—this wasn’t just random individuals acting independently. Aries had organized a team, systematically inciting the Zodiacs.

“So you heard our conversation…” the Earth Dog said. “What’s your choice?”

The Earth Rabbit lowered his head, silent for a few seconds. “I want to ask… Was Aries really never promoted to ‘Heaven’? Do you have any actual proof?”

“No,” the Earth Dog admitted. “All our evidence comes from the Gambling Tiger’s guess. For us, this is a high-stakes gamble.”

“What…?” The Earth Rabbit frowned. “You’re betting your *lives* on a *guess*?”

“At first, we thought it was just a guess. But tonight, too many Zodiacs have entered this room. Your arrival is making it undeniable,” the Earth Dog replied.

As they spoke, the Black Sheep and the Earth Horse crashed to the ground again in the distance, neither able to get up immediately—they’d clearly reached their limits.

Soon after, the Earth Ram coughed up blood, braced himself against the floor, and picked up a broken metal table leg. With effortless strength, he tore it like paper, sharpening one end into a deadly point.

“Don’t underestimate me…” He wiped blood from his lips with a thumb and strode toward the Earth Horse, raising the makeshift weapon. “No ‘sheep’ in this place is easy to mess with.”

Seeing the danger, the Earth Rat rushed forward and grabbed the Earth Ram’s arm. “Boss, listen—‘Zodicide’ is a serious charge. Think this through!”

“I was Sheep’s student. Do you really think I’d act recklessly?” The Earth Ram sighed and pushed the Rat’s hand away.

“Good, then you—”

Before the Earth Rat could finish, the Earth Ram drove the metal leg through the Earth Horse’s ankle in one swift motion, pinning her calf to the floor.

A bloodcurdling scream erupted instantly.

“Sheep once told me—if you can’t kill an enemy out of obligation, cripple them instead.”
