Chapter 483: Artifact Divine Power

Chen Junnan and Cui Shisi walked out of the room with their props, choosing the route “Five,” “Six,” “Seven,” “Eight.” After moving straight to the easternmost part of the building, they would head south to “Twelve” and then reach “Sixteen,” requiring a total of five turns.

By now, the two had already reached room “Six” and were about to proceed to room “Seven.”

When they nervously pushed open the door to “Seven,” they were once again puzzled.

The room was completely empty—no small table, no props, just an ordinary space. The walls were stained with dried, blackened blood, and the floor barely reflected a faint blue-green paint.

“Is there nothing here?” Chen Junnan scanned the room, confirming it was indeed barren. “Could that tuft of black hair have been meant to mislead us?”

“Leader, don’t think that way,” Cui Shisi shook his head. “Including the starting point, we’ve only entered four rooms so far. There are still plenty left unexplored.”

“Fair point,” Chen Junnan nodded. The two waited for the turn to end before moving forward.

Meanwhile, several rooms away, the Earth Rabbit at the starting point was growing restless.

He had opened the door twice in a row, only to be met by Jiang Shi’s drowsy eyes.

“Seriously… are you insane?” the Earth Rabbit snapped. “Who taught you to play the game like this?”

“What’s wrong?” Jiang Shi lazily crossed his arms, squatting on the floor. “Can’t I… yawn… lock the door?”

“You keep locking it—how are you supposed to move later?!” the Earth Rabbit’s voice rose. “Aren’t you just asking to die?”

“I don’t plan to move,” Jiang Shi answered plainly. “I’m the ‘Door-Shutting Disciple.’ My job is to close doors.”

“You…?” The Earth Rabbit was momentarily speechless. “Wait, is this some tactic you all agreed on?”

“Yeah,” Jiang Shi nodded. “Is it bad?”

“Kid, you’ve been tricked!” The Earth Rabbit stared at him. “They’re sacrificing you! Staying here means death!”

“So be it,” Jiang Shi wiped his tears. “I seek death.”

“You—!” The Earth Rabbit sighed. “Fine! If you’re not afraid to die, then I’m done here. I’ll go the other way.”

Another turn passed. The Earth Rabbit opened the door to the east of the starting point, leading to room “Two.” To his utter disbelief, someone else was already staring back at him.

“What the hell?!” The Earth Rabbit’s accent slipped in frustration. “What are you all doing?! Blocking the way?”

Song Qi nodded. “Sorry. My leader told me I’m the ‘Door-Shutting Disciple.’ My duty is to close doors.”

“Are you all out of your minds?!” The Earth Rabbit pointed at him. “If you keep this up, you two will be the ones dying in the end!”

“If it means my teammates survive, I’m willing to die,” Song Qi smiled faintly. “Apologies for the inconvenience.”

The Earth Rabbit seemed utterly defeated. He took a few steps back, retreating to the center of the room.

“Sigh…” He shook his head and raised his voice. “You two are seriously foolish.”

“How so?” Song Qi peered through the open door. “Because we chose to die willingly?”

“Not exactly,” the Earth Rabbit’s expression darkened. “I just wonder… what if reality is nothing like what you expect? What will you do then?”

“Reality… different?” Song Qi frowned. “Forgive my dullness, but what do you mean by that?”

“I can’t tell you,” the Earth Rabbit smirked coldly. “We’re opponents. Why would I give you hints?”

“Then should I assume you’re bluffing?” Song Qi, having dealt with many people, wasn’t easily swayed. “Did you lie about the rules? Is the corner room not actually an exit?”

“You’re overthinking it,” the Earth Rabbit crouched down, resting his hands on his knees. “We all came in from that room—how could it not lead outside?”

He then pointed at the wall, where Chen Junnan had carved a map.

“Room ‘Sixteen’ here is indeed the exit,” the Earth Rabbit said. “But the circumstances will be… different.”

“Ha,” Song Qi nodded. “As long as my teammates reach the exit, that’s all that matters. I couldn’t care less about anything else.”

“Oh?” The Earth Rabbit’s expression turned icy, as if his earlier panic had been an act. “Then guess what… there might come a moment when you’ll willingly open the door for me.”

“Will I?” Song Qi replied ambiguously. “If necessary.”

The Earth Rabbit slowly closed his bloodshot eyes and fell silent.

Chen Junnan and Cui Shisi opened the door to room “Eight.” As expected, there was another table.

This time, a lotus flower rested on it.

“What the—?!” Chen Junnan reached out and touched it, realizing it wasn’t fake—it was a real lotus, still glistening with dew, as if freshly plucked from a pond.

In this godforsaken place, where even living plants were absent, how had this lotus appeared?

Cui Shisi stepped forward and lifted one of the petals. Sure enough, nestled near the stamen, two tiny characters had been carved:

“Divine Power.”

“Leader…” Cui Shisi scratched his head awkwardly. “If that black hair was Sun Wukong’s fur, then this lotus…”

“Third Lotus Prince,” Chen Junnan answered without hesitation. “Doesn’t this confirm my theory? The lotus is Nezha, the hair is Sun Wukong… Maybe we’ll even find Erlang Shen’s spear or the Giant Spirit God’s hammer in other rooms.”

“Is that really it?” Cui Shisi was torn between laughter and exasperation. “Is this… ‘Havoc in Heaven’?”

“Hiss…” Chen Junnan also felt his reasoning might be too far-fetched. But what kind of magic could a lotus possibly hold?

“Should we take it with us?” Cui Shisi ventured.

“We took the hair, might as well take the lotus too…” Chen Junnan replied uncertainly. “Skills don’t weigh you down, and neither do extra props.”

One holding the black hair, the other the lotus, they waited for the turn to begin before opening the southern door to room “Twelve.” Instantly, their expressions soured.

“Oh no…” Chen Junnan muttered, staring at yet another table in the room.

At its center lay an unfamiliar object—flat as wood, jade-like in texture, covered in indecipherable inscriptions. The only legible part was two small characters at the bottom-right corner:

“Divine Power.”
