Chapter 1339: The Wanderer

At the moment the Flesh Wall blocked the Heavenly Dragon, several massive bone spikes erupted from the ground, thrusting toward the dragon’s body.

Qi Xia had been walking forward the entire time, never once looking back.

The Heavenly Dragon clenched his fist in fury, and countless stone spikes materialized out of thin air, shattering all the bone spikes.

Then, the Heavenly Dragon stomped the ground, activating “Levitation,” and instantly escaped the range of the flesh’s assault. From high above, he dove toward Qi Xia like a hawk.

As the two were about to collide, Qi Xia closed his eyes. The fleshy ground beneath him suddenly split open like a mouth, swallowing him whole before the gap vanished without a trace.

Unsurprisingly, the Heavenly Dragon’s attack struck empty air.

After landing, he cautiously scanned his surroundings. Qi Xia had disappeared without a trace, leaving only a few scattered pedestrians nearby.

Those pedestrians seemed to sense that someone was fighting here, cautiously gathering at a distance to watch.

Just as the Heavenly Dragon hesitated, the carousel beside him abruptly began spinning violently.

The “flesh horses” struggled free from their skeletal restraints, charging toward him in a frenzy.

Upon closer inspection, the Heavenly Dragon frowned in confusion—each “flesh horse” was crudely stitched together from human corpses, their faces still distinctly human.

As the horde of flesh horses closed in, the Heavenly Dragon swept his hand through the air, reducing most of them to dust. But a few remained unaffected by “Disintegration,” breaking through the bloody mist to lunge at him.

The Heavenly Dragon clenched his fist, and massive stone spikes erupted from the ground, skewering the remaining flesh horses like grotesque kebabs. The stitched-together monstrosities writhed and shrieked on the spikes.

Before he could even catch his breath, the fleshy ground beneath him churned violently. The surrounding earth formed into an enormous hand, as if trying to crush him alive.

At the last second, he activated “Levitation,” leaping high into the air and hovering above the massive hand.

As he steadied his breathing, his peripheral vision caught sight of something enormous hurtling toward him.

He turned to see a massive, out-of-control flesh pendulum swinging in an eerie arc, spiraling upward from the ground to strike him midair.

The Heavenly Dragon frantically slashed his hand through the air, reducing the pendulum to minced flesh—but at the same time, a wave of dizziness hit him.

To his horror, within seconds of being pulverized, the pendulum regenerated, its form rapidly reforming.

Forced to pour every ounce of his “Conviction” into “Disintegration,” he finally shattered the colossal pendulum mid-swing.

The Heavenly Dragon knew he couldn’t keep this up. How long could he last if he had to rely solely on “Disintegration”?

Worse, the things here were endless—all born from “Perpetual Rebirth.” The entire amusement park seemed to be White Sheep’s arsenal.

And yet, White Sheep hadn’t even shown himself. Why was this happening?

White Sheep should have been just as drained of “Conviction,” yet the “Divine Arts” he wielded now were more ferocious than ever. His earlier casual demeanor hadn’t been that of someone using “Divine Arts”—it was more like…

Swatting away a fly.

“White Sheep!!” the Heavenly Dragon roared into the sky. “Didn’t you want to settle this?! What’s the point of hiding?!”

Many in the amusement park looked up at him, but he couldn’t spot Qi Xia anywhere.

“White Sheep!!” he bellowed again. “Show yourself!”

Raising his hand, the Heavenly Dragon summoned a massive boulder in the sky. With a thought, it plummeted downward.

*CRACK!*

The boulder struck the fleshy ground with a strange sound, as if something had fractured beneath it.

The park’s visitors, sensing danger, began fleeing toward the exits.

“White Sheep!!”

The Heavenly Dragon continued shouting, summoning more boulders that rained down like meteors.

A bizarre, deafening “rain” echoed through the amusement park.

Unable to find Qi Xia, the Heavenly Dragon’s patience wore thin.

Then, something even more massive loomed in his peripheral vision—roaring, whimpering, like a gargantuan pale beast.

Its sheer size sent the Heavenly Dragon reeling in shock. He hastily retreated, flying dozens of meters back before realizing it was a pirate ship—constructed from colossal ribs and flesh.

The ship soared unnaturally, as if winged, and wailed as it hurtled toward him.

With no time to dodge, the Heavenly Dragon crossed his arms and unleashed “Disintegration” once more.

Qi Xia watched from a distance, shaking his head in resignation.

People were fleeing in droves. He wondered—could this world even withstand the Heavenly Dragon’s rampage?

This was supposed to be the amusement park’s commercial street, lined with grotesque flesh-built shops and oddly dressed visitors.

Glancing at the craters left by the falling boulders, Qi Xia mused—had this world ever seen *rocks* before?

Some boulders had cracked the ground open, revealing dark voids beneath.

Qi Xia leaped onto one, casually waving his hand as flesh spread to seal the fissures.

Seconds later, a sound caught his attention.

Turning, he saw a hand—a living human hand—emerging from a dark rift between buildings, reaching in from the void beyond.

Qi Xia froze, his mind reeling.

Someone was… wandering outside space?

The hand, whether by accident or intent, gripped the edge of the rift and tore off a fragment, widening the gap.

Fortunately, the fleeing crowd hadn’t noticed the anomaly.

Frowning, Qi Xia assessed the situation—

A wanderer from beyond space… What world, what time did they come from?

Lucky, to find a door into this realm in the void.

Unlucky, that the door led straight into his battlefield with the Heavenly Dragon.

Meanwhile, in the sky, the rib-built pirate ship disintegrated just before hitting the Heavenly Dragon—but its speed outstripped his “Disintegration.” Before he could fully erase it, the remaining mass slammed into him like a freight train.

A deafening crash echoed as the wailing ship collided with him.

Overwhelmed, the Heavenly Dragon plummeted from the sky, landing near the rift.

Ignoring him, Qi Xia focused on the intruding hand. Another “disruption” had arrived.

But his plans were already set—no disruption could change that.

Yet, someone struggling to enter from the void? Absurd.

Truly, “Heaven’s gate stands wide, yet you choose the path to hell.”

Stepping beside the rift, Qi Xia muttered, “Ridiculous,” and waved his hand.

Flesh surged over the gap, sealing both the rift and the figure within.

“W-Wait…!”

A woman’s voice echoed from the void.

Refusing to be locked out, she clawed at the encroaching flesh. “Hey! Who are you?!”

Qi Xia shook his head, letting the flesh consume the rift. Whoever she was, this was no place for her.

Once the gap was sealed, he sighed.

“Sorry, I can’t save you. Keep doing what you were meant to do.”
