Preface

Title: Master of Feng Shui

Author: Zong Gong Daren (The Great Top)

Blurb:

Lin Qiao graduated from a prestigious university and is a firm believer in science, a typical atheist.

However, she ends up embodying an old saying perfectly: Offend anyone you like, but never offend a Feng Shui master.

Her marriage to Shen Qingzhou didn’t happen because she was won over by him—but because he completely outwitted her.

It’s basically the kind of story where a girl like Lin Qiao, who keeps saying, “Do you really think I could ever be interested in him?” ends up humiliatingly clinging to Master Shen’s powerful legs, crying bitterly and sobbing, “I regret it! I do like you!!”

So whenever people asked Lin Qiao about her husband after their marriage, she would always wear a pained expression: “You want to know about him? Let me tell you… No, forget it.”

The male lead is domineering and definitely not a kind-hearted guy. Not suitable for those who dislike such characters.

[Editor’s Review]

Facing a crisis in the Lin Group’s business, Chairman Lin follows his friend Wang Jin’s suggestion and sends his daughter to Qian City to find Shen Qingzhou, a Feng Shui master descended from Yang Yunsong of the Tang Dynasty, hoping he can improve the family’s fortune through geomancy. Lin Qiao, a staunch advocate of science and opponent of superstition, reluctantly agrees to the trip to Qian City simply to humor her father and make him give up his foolish beliefs. Upon arriving in Qian City, Lin Qiao accidentally saves Shen Qingzhou’s adopted son, and as a result, Shen agrees to accompany her back to Beijing to help the Lin family. After returning to Beijing, numerous amusing incidents arise between Shen Qingzhou and Lin Qiao due to disputes over the Feng Shui of the Lin family mansion, and gradually, feelings develop between them. However, their relationship is far more complicated than it appears. Shen Qingzhou’s aristocratic mother, her stepson, and Lin Qiao’s excellent simultaneous interpreter suitor all add layers of complexity and intrigue to their relationship. This novel features a fresh theme, smooth narrative, and uniquely crafted plot and characters. Combining romantic storytelling with Feng Shui knowledge, it is a carefully written and impressive work.
