Chapter 496: Beauty and the Spirit Spring

The extreme tranquility along the way took Han Li completely by surprise. After following the route marked by the red line and navigating several twists and turns at intersections, he encountered neither restrictions nor puppets, easily arriving before a towering wall.

Gazing at this seemingly ordinary stone wall, Han Li flipped his hand and unrolled the worn painting scroll once more, lowering his head to compare and verify.

“Indeed, this is the place,” he murmured to himself after a moment. Raising a single hand, five azure sword rays shot out from his fingers, piercing several feet into the stone wall.

At this sight, Han Li felt a surge of joy. There were no restrictions on the wall; it truly concealed another realm within. He then subtly rotated his five fingers, causing the sword rays to simultaneously twist half a circle. A circular hole about ten feet high was easily carved out by the sharp sword rays. With a gentle push from his other hand, a large opening appeared in the stone wall, revealing a pitch-black interior.

With a flick of his wrist, the sword rays vanished abruptly, and a white ball of light floated up from his palm, drifting leisurely into the hole.

Without hesitation, Han Li moved, nimbly leaping inside.

It was a small secret chamber, no more than twenty feet high and only fifty to sixty feet in length and width. The floor was covered in a thick layer of dust, but in the center of the room stood an extremely crude teleportation formation.

The formation was arranged in a crooked manner, with runes that appeared incredibly rough, as if someone with no knowledge of formations had clumsily imitated one.

Han Li frowned. Could it be completely unusable or long abandoned? He stepped forward and bent down to inspect the teleportation formation using his knowledge of spell formations. After a long while, he let out a deep sigh of relief.

Although crude, this teleportation formation was still usable and didn’t appear to be a long-distance one. He estimated that teleporting out wouldn’t send him to some unfamiliar place tens of thousands of miles away.

Han Li took out several spirit stones and quickly installed them on the four sides of the formation. A low hum filled the air as the formation emitted a faint fluorescent glow. Seeing this, Han Li smiled slightly but didn’t immediately rush to teleport away. Instead, he glanced back at the opened hole, lost in thought for a moment.

He then walked over and cast several minor restoration spells on it. The broken stones instantly resealed the opening, restoring the stone wall to its original appearance. Only then did Han Li clap his hands, step onto the teleportation formation, and vanish in a flash of white light.

The next moment, Han Li’s figure emerged amidst a faint mist—damp, warm, and carrying an indescribable, delicate fragrance.

About ten feet ahead, a milky-white pool about a hundred feet wide appeared. The white mist and delicate fragrance emanated from this pool.

But what astonished him wasn’t this; it was the naked body half-standing in the pool, facing him in a bent-over pose as if playing with the water.

The exaggeratedly full curves, the ivory-white glow of her skin, and the jet-black, glossy hair cascading down to her waist—all indicated that this was a beautiful young woman in the prime of her youth.

Such an encounter made Han Li involuntarily swallow dryly, his mind growing somewhat dazed. But when his gaze fell upon her stunningly beautiful face, filled with an expression of disbelief, he was taken aback for a moment before revealing a bitter smile.

“Miss Yuan, what a coincidence meeting you here again. Though it seems my timing is rather inappropriate!” Han Li said indifferently, his eyes brazenly sweeping over the woman’s body without a hint of sincerity.

This naked young woman in the pool was actually Yuan Yao, the beautiful woman who had disappeared without a trace after entering the inner hall.

At this moment, Yuan Yao was utterly shocked by Han Li’s sudden appearance. Upon hearing his words, she snapped back to reality, her face flushing crimson.

She hastily used her jade-like hands to cover her proud breasts and the pair of rosy peaks standing erect on them, exclaiming in both shame and annoyance, “How did you get here? That teleportation formation was supposed to be abandoned and unusable. You… turn around quickly!” Yuan Yao looked both startled and embarrassed.

Hearing this, Han Li smiled slightly. Instead of answering her, he stepped out of the teleportation formation unconcernedly and took a quick look around.

This was a massive stone chamber, about thirty to forty feet in size, with an ordinary stone door on each side. Opposite Han Li, on the other side of the pool, lay a pile of black clothing and a few storage pouches.

Further back, on the stone wall several feet away, there was a white jade carved dragon head relief. About three to four feet below the dragon head was a green, faintly glowing indentations, inside which rested a green long-necked jade bottle, as if collecting something.

When Yuan Yao noticed Han Li’s gaze fixed on the green jade bottle, she momentarily forgot her embarrassment, her face suddenly changing color. However, Han Li acted as if he had seen nothing and immediately averted his eyes. Instead, he walked to the edge of the pool and looked down at the milky white water. Yuan Yao secretly breathed a sigh of relief, her beautiful face returning to its normal state, though her eyes flickered with a strange light, as if she were contemplating something.

Just then, Han Li seemed to remember something. He suddenly reached out and gently scooped up some of the white pool water, bringing it before his eyes.

The water was intensely fragrant and brimming with pure heaven and earth spiritual energy. But after a moment, the fragrance and spiritual energy vanished before his eyes at a visible rate, turning into ordinary clear water.

Han Li’s face showed a trace of astonishment.

“Spirit Spring Eye! I truly didn’t expect the master of the Virtual Sky Palace to have moved such a large Spirit Spring Eye here. Did Miss Yuan take such great risks to enter the inner hall precisely for this?” Han Li lightly tossed the water droplets in his hand and spoke unhurriedly to the great beauty in the pool.

“Hmph! Is this how Fellow Daoist Han speaks to a woman? Haven’t you seen enough? Do you wish for this young lady to remain exposed for a while longer?” Yuan Yao had now regained her composure, but seeing Han Li still brazenly scanning her exposed fragrant shoulders, she submerged herself a bit deeper, retorting with some annoyance.

However, given her stunning beauty, no matter how annoyed she appeared, she still looked incredibly alluring. Coupled with her naked state and black hair cascading over her shoulders, the scene was filled with endless temptation.

What a captivating enchantress! Han Li focused intently on her flower-like countenance, feeling a surge of heat within.

Although he usually maintained a clear mind and restrained his desires, he was, after all, a normal man. Faced with such a sight, while he wouldn’t go so far as to act disgracefully, he had no objection to feasting his eyes and exchanging a few teasing words.

So, Han Li sat down by the edge of the pool, took off his boots, and unabashedly soaked his feet in the water, saying leisurely, “If Miss Yuan wishes to get dressed, feel free to do so. I won’t stop you in the slightest. However, given the chance to witness a beauty emerging from her bath, I won’t pretend to be a gentleman. I, Han, will certainly enjoy the view properly.” After saying this, Han Li gently cupped his chin in his hands, smiling as he stared fixedly at the blushing beauty.

“You…” Yuan Yao’s face flushed crimson, and she seemed on the verge of saying something. But then her dark eyes flickered slightly, and her delicate features immediately returned to their usual composure. She let out a charming giggle, “Hehe, I truly thought you were nothing but a block of wood, utterly incapable of appreciating a woman’s beauty! I never expected Fellow Daoist Han to understand romance after all. I, Yuan Yao, am deeply indebted to you. If Fellow Daoist Han wishes to see this young lady’s body, so be it. We cultivators do not place much importance on a mere mortal shell. Then, Yuan Yao will now step out to get dressed.”

Having said this, she provocatively extended a jade-white arm from the water, lightly gathered her black hair, and cast an extremely seductive smile at Han Li. For a moment, her jade-like face radiated brilliance, as gorgeous as peach blossoms.

Han Li was momentarily dazed, seemingly enchanted by her charm.

In that instant, Yuan Yao’s hands inadvertently lightly struck the water. A white, misty water screen immediately appeared between her and Han Li, cutting off his undisguised gaze.

Seizing the opportunity, the great beauty flew out of the water like a celestial maiden soaring through the heavens, shooting backward toward her clothes and storage pouches by the poolside. Then, a wave of black mist emanated from her, enveloping all those items and covering her body tightly. By the time the black mist dissipated, her tall and graceful figure reappeared, now fully dressed and elegantly floating down to the ground.

And the long-necked green bottle beneath the dragon head relief had vanished without a trace.
