Chapter 2322: Great Battle Outside the Valley (Part 2)

Han Li let out a cold laugh and silently recited an incantation in his heart. The surface of the gray light screen immediately surged with an unusual ripple.

Upon contact, the fine threads trembled and shattered into pieces.

At the same time, the golden fist shadows surged into the sky like a tidal wave, each containing immense power. Despite the three massive serpent heads spewing various beams of light, each appearing exceptionally ferocious, they were forcefully shattered amidst thunderous booms.

As for the giant black foot stomping down from the other side, after being relentlessly pummeled by the fist shadows, it swayed violently but still descended bit by bit, its surface flickering with frantic runes.

Seeing this, a cold glint flashed across Han Li’s face. Without any visible movement, the massive Dharma Form behind him blurred and vanished into thin air.

The next moment, the void behind the giant transformed by the Immortal Venerable twisted, and a towering golden figure, no smaller than the giant, emerged in a flash—this was the golden body formed by the Brahma Saint Dharma Form.

The golden body’s three faces remained expressionless. Two of its arms blurred and eerily pressed down on the giant’s shoulders.

The Immortal Venerable was startled and jerked his shoulders, attempting to break free.

However, a dazzling purple-gold light suddenly erupted from the golden body’s palms, as if an infinite amount of power had been unleashed.

The Immortal Venerable felt his body grow heavy, and his movements momentarily froze.

Seizing this opportunity, the golden body’s remaining four arms moved strangely, and four fists of the same color struck the giant’s chest at point-blank range.

The giant roared furiously. Black radiance swirled around its body, and a dark green battle armor instantly covered it. At the same time, it lowered its head, and the two curved horns on its head suddenly expanded into massive black blades, stabbing fiercely toward its opponent.

Two dull thuds rang out.

Two of the purple-gold fists rebounded upon contact with the horns, but the other two silently struck the giant’s chest.

The sound of bones shattering erupted instantly.

Han Li had nearly perfected the Brahma Saint Demon Art, and with the enhancement of several other secret techniques, the strength of the Brahma Saint golden body far surpassed what ordinary Mahayana cultivators could imagine.

The Immortal Venerable felt a burning sensation in his chest. Amidst the intertwining golden and black lights, the dark green armor caved in with two massive dents before shattering into pieces. Two tremendous forces surged through his entire body.

The giant’s massive frame trembled and was sent flying backward before it could even make a sound.

Below, the earth shook with a deafening roar.

The giant transformed by the Immortal Venerable was forcibly embedded several zhang deep into the ground, with most of its body buried in the soil.

All of this happened almost simultaneously in the blink of an eye.

Han Li sneered and reached out with one hand. A flash of cyan light appeared, and a faint green sword materialized in his grasp. With a slight flick of his wrist, a torrent of cyan sword Qi cascaded down like a mountain.

Though the Immortal Venerable was filled with shock and fury, his meridians were in disarray from the golden body’s attack, leaving him momentarily unable to dodge. He could only open his mouth wide and spit out a massive black shield, transforming it into a light screen to block the attack.

A sharp hissing sound filled the air. The light screen appeared unremarkable, yet it managed to block most of Han Li’s cyan sword Qi.

However, a few streaks of cyan light, far sharper than the rest, pierced through the screen and slashed deeply into the giant’s body.

Blood sprayed out.

Several deep sword wounds appeared on the giant’s body, so severe that they nearly cleaved it in half at the waist.

But then, something bizarre occurred.

Despite such grievous injuries, the Immortal Venerable merely let out a low growl.

Countless blood threads intertwined and surged from the wounds, healing them at a visible speed.

“Indestructible Body!”

Han Li was momentarily stunned but soon curled his lips into a cold smirk. His green sword trembled as he prepared to unleash an even more devastating attack.

However, at that moment, the air around him tightened, and several zhang-high banners materialized out of nowhere. With a swift spin, they formed a small array, trapping Han Li at its center.

The banners trembled slightly, and countless runes surged forth.

Han Li felt the air constrict, and his body became unbearably heavy as layers of restrictions were imposed upon him.

Glancing downward, he quickly assessed the situation.

It was the Daoist, gripping three massive tokens with one hand, activating the array to trap him.

Meanwhile, Huang Yuanzi had produced a crimson crystal ring, its surface flickering with red light, as if preparing to ambush him.

Han Li’s expression darkened. The green sword in his hand and the Brahma Saint golden body above vanished simultaneously. He then threw his head back and let out a long roar. His body swelled amidst swirling golden runes, transforming into a hundred-zhang-tall golden-furred ape in an instant.

The ape swung its arms with immense force, causing the surrounding void to hum as a mighty power rippled outward.

Most of the restrictions crumbled under the force, and the banners forming the array trembled violently, some even snapping in half.

Seeing this, Sanquan Daoren’s face paled, but he continued his incantations without pause and let out a piercing shriek.

At the same time, three thumb-thick snakes appeared beside Han Li in a blur, transforming into three differently colored shadows that lunged at him.

Han Li raised an eyebrow and swept a hand across his chest, flicking out three fingers like tempered steel.

Three dull thuds echoed.

Two of the snakes were sent flying as if struck by lightning.

The third, a crimson snake, twisted its body and dodged the attack, then bit down on the ape’s fingertip in a flash.

The ape let out a low growl, flipped its hand, and crushed the snake into pulp.

Witnessing this, Sanquan Daoren didn’t panic but instead smirked in delight.

The ape shook its arms again, shattering all remaining restrictions and snapping the remaining banners in half, completely dismantling the array.

At that moment, Huang Yuanzi’s multicolored archway shimmered, and the crystal ring in his hand vanished.

Simultaneously, a five-colored radiance appeared above the ape’s head, and a crimson fire cloud descended with a thunderous roar. Within the flames, a massive crystal ring materialized around the ape’s waist, tightening abruptly.

Crimson flames erupted, engulfing the ape.

Huang Yuanzi’s face lit up with triumph.

This seemingly unremarkable ring was actually an incomplete Profound Heaven treasure forged from a fragment of an ancient cultivator’s relic.

It could expand or shrink at will, was incredibly resilient, and its flames were refined from several types of spiritual fire. Even a mere touch would reduce an ordinary cultivator to ashes.

Using the power of the Nine Illusions Archway, he had instantly ensnared Han Li.

He believed that even if Han Li didn’t perish on the spot, he would at least suffer severe injuries.

But then, a thunderous explosion erupted from within the flames.

The crystal ring swelled and shrank violently before exploding into countless shards. The crimson flames parted, and the golden ape stepped out unscathed, its expression indifferent.

Huang Yuanzi, watching from the massive archway, was dumbfounded, unable to believe his eyes.

Sanquan Daoren’s face also darkened with shock, but he quickly sneered and turned to Huang Yuanzi. “Brother Huang, don’t worry! Though this man is formidable, he was bitten by my Blood-Refining Snake earlier. He’s already poisoned without realizing it. In moments, his blood will solidify, and he won’t be able to muster even a trace of magic power. No matter how strong he is, what can he do then?”

“Brother Sanquan, is this true?” Huang Yuanzi exclaimed, a mix of surprise and joy in his voice.

“Would I lie about such a thing? Count to ten, and he won’t last. One, two, three…” Sanquan Daoren confidently began counting aloud.

The golden ape in the sky showed no reaction but suddenly swung a massive furry hand downward.

A thunderous boom echoed as a wave of force crashed down.

The Immortal Venerable, who had just recovered and risen halfway from the ground, was slammed back into the earth.

The giant, its face crimson, let out a wolf-like howl. Black radiance erupted from its body as it grew even larger, veins bulging and pale bone spikes sprouting all over.

Its appearance became utterly monstrous.

The transformation complete, the giant clenched its fists and smashed them into the ground.

The earth trembled, splitting open with two dark fissures.

Using the force, the giant leaped from the pit and shot toward the ape like a black whirlwind.

Han Li frowned slightly, but the ape merely pounded its chest, releasing a golden light. Within it was a foot-tall figure with gleaming eyes, no eyebrows or nose, and a purple-gold body—the Gold Devouring Beetle King.

The tiny figure shot forward, its eyes widening as two crystalline sword beams shot forth.

The beams vanished into the black whirlwind.

A shrill scream echoed, followed by a rain of blood.
