Chapter 2180: Spiritual Tide

Han Li pondered briefly, then suddenly flicked his sleeve toward the sky. A flash of light appeared above his head, and three small mountains, each about ten feet tall, materialized out of thin air.

With a swift incantation, the three mountains let out a whistling sound as they descended toward the crystal platform, landing around it with three thunderous booms—”Boom! Boom! Boom!”

The mountains crashed heavily onto the ground, then, with another flash of light, rapidly expanded. In an instant, they grew to over a hundred zhang in height, resembling true towering peaks, firmly shielding the crystal platform within their formation.

Having accomplished this, Han Li made no further unusual movements. He simply sat cross-legged, closed his eyes, and began meditating.

He remained in this seated position from noon until evening, and then from evening until dawn…

From the distant peaks, the Crab Daoist and Silvermoon silently observed Han Li’s actions, though their expressions differed.

The Crab Daoist remained calm and indifferent, while a faint trace of concern flickered between Silvermoon’s brows.

Two hours later, as the first rays of sunlight broke over the nearby mountains, Han Li suddenly opened his eyes. With a slow hand seal, an immense aura erupted from his body, soaring into the sky. A golden light flashed behind him, revealing a towering Dharma Form—the Sacred Vajra Manifestation—standing several zhang tall.

With a low shout, the golden Dharma Form expanded to over a hundred zhang in size, its six eyes opening simultaneously as its six hands each formed different mystic seals.

A series of deep rumbles echoed as fierce winds howled through the sky, and dark clouds gathered ominously.

Han Li, still seated on the crystal platform, paid no heed to these phenomena. Instead, he raised a hand and cast a spell downward.

Instantly, the entire platform emitted a resonant hum, its surface inscriptions coming to life as they swirled and formed over a hundred arrays of varying sizes, flickering between dimness and brightness.

The surrounding spiritual energy trembled violently, and countless multicolored specks of light densely filled the void, stretching endlessly into the distance as if saturating the entire world—a truly awe-inspiring sight!

Despite these grand displays, Han Li remained motionless, his eyes tightly shut and his expression unreadable, as if he had once again entered deep meditation.

Yet, as the arrays on the crystal platform pulsed, his aura steadily intensified with each passing moment. Though the increase was subtle—almost imperceptible unless one paid close attention—over time, the cumulative effect became astonishing.

Meanwhile, the three-headed, six-armed Dharma Form behind him also expanded gradually with the rising aura, growing by roughly a zhang every hour.

By the end of the day, the Dharma Form had grown over a dozen zhang taller, its once misty golden form now far more solid and tangible.

Time flowed on…

Han Li remained motionless on the crystal platform, yet his aura continued to rise at an unrelenting pace, as if it would never cease…

Half a month later, his aura had unknowingly reached a level that would terrify even a Body Integration cultivator. The Dharma Form behind him now stood three hundred zhang tall, its body shimmering with such density that it appeared almost corporeal.

Above, the sky was completely obscured by pitch-black clouds, not a single ray of sunlight or moonlight piercing through. The entire basin had darkened, exuding an oppressive gloom.

Only the specks of condensed spiritual energy remained, silently suspended in the void. Yet, what had once been the size of beans had now swelled to the size of eggs.

From afar, they resembled countless enormous fireflies floating motionlessly in the air, emitting a soft, ethereal glow.

Finally, Han Li opened his eyes, blue lightning crackling within his pupils like twin bolts of azure electricity. Without hesitation, he slapped the crown of his head, and a golden radiance burst forth as a golden Spirit Infant, several chi tall, emerged.

Though diminutive in stature, the infant’s expression was solemn. As soon as it appeared, it raised a tiny hand and pointed toward the sky.

A thunderclap resounded!

A silver flash tore through the clouds, and a bolt of lightning as thick as a zhang descended.

The golden Spirit Infant narrowed its eyes but made no attempt to evade. Instead, it opened its mouth and exhaled a stream of azure mist.

With a sharp “Pfft!” the massive lightning bolt struck downward unimpeded—only to vanish in a flash, swallowed whole by the infant as if drawn in by a colossal whale.

The golden infant then rubbed its hands together, and with a thunderous roar, arcs of electricity erupted from its body, coalescing into fist-sized silver thunder runes that scattered in all directions with muffled booms.

After a series of explosions, the runes vanished into the void.

A moment later, an invisible force erupted in the surrounding space, stirring the previously motionless multicolored orbs of light.

The densely packed orbs flickered wildly before swirling into motion, dancing through the air.

Not stopping there, the golden infant sat cross-legged in midair and formed a hand seal. The immense aura radiating from Han Li’s physical body below suddenly surged upward, unleashing a terrifying spiritual pressure that seemed capable of crushing everything in its path.

With a swift rotation, an enormous invisible vortex formed above the platform, violently pulling in the drifting orbs of light before condensing them into streams of spiritual mist that cascaded downward.

Both the infant and Han Li’s body shimmered as silver runes emerged across their surfaces.

As the five-colored mist touched their skin, the silver runes flared brilliantly, silently absorbing the energy.

The vortex above the basin continued to draw in the orbs, while from its opposite end, a colossal funnel of mist poured down, endlessly channeling spiritual energy into Han Li’s infant and body.

As time passed, the infant’s form grew increasingly radiant, while Han Li’s flesh became ever more translucent and lustrous…

Within the span of a single meal, one was enveloped in a golden halo, while the other gleamed like flawless white jade.

Yet by this point, the basin’s sky had been completely emptied of the energy orbs, leaving vast stretches of the void barren.

Seeing the flow of five-colored spiritual mist cease, the infant’s small face darkened. Without any visible movement, the towering golden Dharma Form behind it let out a low chant from one of its heads.

Its six hands released their seals, and golden light swirled in their palms, forming six golden orbs the size of human faces. With a synchronized motion, the hands hurled the orbs skyward.

The six orbs shot upward, merging midair into a single colossal golden sphere.

The infant waved its chubby hand, and with two blinding flashes, the sphere exploded with a deafening roar.

Countless golden runes surged forth, swiftly coiling into another immense golden vortex that instantly merged with the original.

The three-headed, six-armed Dharma Form continued its low chant, its six hands waving once more. Golden light flashed as six massive golden pillars, each as thick as a water vat, erupted forth, striking the base of the vortex and vanishing soundlessly within.

The golden vortex buzzed violently, its size swelling rapidly.

Within moments, it had expanded into a gargantuan maelstrom, covering nearly a third of the basin.

The infant’s face brightened with satisfaction. Forming another seal, it pointed at the vortex.

The buzzing subsided, replaced by celestial hymns, while an overwhelming suction force erupted from the vortex, rippling outward in waves.

The sky roared as the vortex’s influence spread to the horizon.

Moments later, distant rumbles—far more intense than before—echoed from the edges of the sky, as if a tidal wave of energy was surging from beyond.

A flash of light heralded a burst of vibrant hues at the horizon, followed by a deafening crescendo as an endless tide of radiant spiritual energy rolled forth.

The infant’s expression shifted slightly, its pupils flashing with blue light as it discerned the true nature of the approaching phenomenon.

It was an unimaginable spectacle—countless five-colored orbs densely packed together, forming a vast, surging tide.

A hint of joy crossed the infant’s face. Taking a deep breath, it signaled the Dharma Form behind it, which responded by unleashing over a dozen more golden pillars into the vortex, further amplifying its pull.

Under this immense force, the distant energy tide surged forward in a series of dazzling flashes, soon reaching the basin and pouring into the golden vortex.

Once again, a thick, almost viscous mist of spiritual energy cascaded down onto the platform.

The infant and Han Li’s body absorbed the energy greedily, their silver runes glowing as they devoured the mist without restraint.

Their forms seemed bottomless, capable of absorbing any amount of spiritual power.

This time, the vortex had forcibly drawn in the energy from tens of thousands of li around, making the incoming tide appear inexhaustible.

Yet, despite the unparalleled resilience of Han Li’s infant and body, even they eventually reached their limits.

Continuing to absorb energy would no longer enhance them—instead, it risked catastrophic overload.

With a grunt, the infant’s runes faded, and the inscriptions on Han Li’s body likewise dissipated.

At that moment, the previously motionless Dharma Form opened its three mouths and inhaled deeply, effortlessly swallowing the descending energy.

A faint golden shimmer passed over its body as it grew slightly larger.

Thus, though Han Li’s infant and body ceased their absorption, the Dharma Form took up the task, devouring every last wisp of spiritual mist without hesitation.
