Chapter 2149: Confrontation with Yuan Sha Once More

At that very moment, a ripple appeared in the void over twenty zhang above the flying carriage, and three figures silently emerged once more.

It was none other than Han Li and his two companions.

As it turned out, just before the flying carriage was suddenly attacked, Han Li had reacted swiftly, instantly activating a teleportation technique to move all three of them outside the carriage.

Now, standing high in the air, Han Li gazed down at the lake below with a grave expression.

The enemy below had managed to evade detection by both him and Crab Daoist, indicating their formidable power.

It seemed that this time, a true powerhouse of the demon race had come for them.

As Han Li pondered, the emerald-green giant hand burst with a *bang*, dissolving into droplets that scattered back into the lake.

Simultaneously, the lake’s surface churned violently as a ten-zhang-tall palace slowly rose from the water.

The palace was translucent, shimmering with a faint blue glow, as if it had been directly condensed from the lake itself.

At the palace’s entrance stood a woman clad in green armor. Her skin was slightly dark, and an air of heroic resolve emanated from her brow. Her icy gaze fixed on Han Li in the sky.

The aura of this demon woman was unfathomable, exuding a terror that made one instinctively avert their eyes—she was a Mahayana-level existence.

Yet, upon seeing her somewhat familiar face, Han Li’s expression changed involuntarily, and he blurted out,

“It’s you! You actually descended your true body into the Spirit Realm!”

The green-armored woman slightly parted her lips, revealing teeth as white as jade, and replied coldly,

“I didn’t expect to see you again so soon either. You’ve repeatedly provoked me, and now that you’ve encountered my true form, there’s no chance of escape. If you surrender willingly, I might spare your life as a courtesy. But if you dare to fight me, your soul will be utterly annihilated.”

“Yuan Sha, do you really think your true form is enough to keep me here? I’ve met more than one or two of your so-called Sacred Ancestors recently, and none of them could do anything to me,” Han Li chuckled after a brief pause.

This green-armored demon woman was none other than Yuan Sha, the Sacred Ancestor with whom Han Li had a deep grudge—and she had arrived in her true form!

Though this was Han Li’s first time seeing her true body, he recognized her instantly due to the long pursuit he had endured from one of her avatars. His mind raced with thoughts.

However, thanks to his own significant advancement in cultivation and the presence of Crab Daoist by his side, he wasn’t overly alarmed. Instead, he quickly considered countermeasures.

Upon hearing Han Li’s words, Yuan Sha’s brows twitched, and a trace of killing intent flashed across her face. Yet her voice remained emotionless as she said,

“You’ve met other Sacred Ancestors? So, it really was you who broke through the passageway the other day. How intriguing. I’m genuinely curious—how did a mere Body Integration cultivator escape from the hands of other Sacred Ancestors? To advance from mid to late Body Integration in such a short time, you must be a once-in-ten-thousand-years prodigy. But now that I’ve found you, your path of cultivation ends here.”

Without waiting for Han Li to respond, Yuan Sha suddenly raised a hand and made a grasping motion toward the trio.

*Boom!*

The lake below surged upward like a waterfall, and in midair, it solidified once more into an emerald-green giant hand.

This hand was at least ten times larger than the previous one. Its fingers spread wide, blotting out half the sky before flipping over and crashing down toward Han Li and his companions.

“Water-attribute technique!”

Han Li narrowed his eyes and muttered. He opened his mouth and spat out a silver fireball, swiftly forming a hand seal.

With a *puff*, the silver fireball spun rapidly, transforming into a silver firebird about a foot long.

Han Li then pointed at the firebird with his other hand.

The firebird let out a clear cry and expanded at an incredible speed, growing to the size of a small mountain in an instant. With a flap of its wings, it shot toward the giant hand.

A deafening explosion erupted as the colossal firebird collided with the center of the giant hand, causing both to burst apart.

In the sky, water and fire intertwined, forming towering pillars as thick as water vats before dispersing into mist.

For a moment, the air was filled with dense white vapor.

Seeing this, the green-armored woman in the palace smirked disdainfully. Without any visible movement, she softly uttered the word, “Gather.”

Instantly, countless blue specks of light appeared in the sky, trembling slightly before raining down into the mist.

With a *bang*, the mist coalesced into a thousand-zhang-tall white peak. As it swayed slightly, countless blue runes drifted out and descended downward.

The peak seemed weightless, floating gently.

But Han Li’s expression darkened at the sight. With a low shout, golden light erupted around him as he transformed into a golden-furred giant ape. He swung his fists twice, sending two golden gusts of wind toward the peak.

The golden fist shadows vanished in a flash, transforming into twin hurricanes that swept upward.

Amidst the thunderous roar, the blue runes swayed wildly in the wind, as if on the verge of scattering, yet the white peak continued its descent, unaffected.

The giant ape’s eyes widened in shock. Its massive arms retracted, then flipped outward.

With a flash of light, two miniature mountains—one black, one green—appeared in its palms.

The ape’s arms whirled like windmills before it roared and released the mountains. The two peaks shot upward with explosive force.

Two streaks of black and green light struck the base of the white peak.

A blinding radiance erupted silently, followed by a cataclysmic boom that shook the heavens. A terrifying shockwave capable of annihilating the world spread in all directions, distorting the sky.

Without hesitation, the golden ape enveloped Zhu Guo’er in golden mist and vanished into the void.

Crab Daoist, expressionless, blurred into a gust of wind and disappeared.

The shockwave swept past where they had stood, twisting the surrounding space.

On the other side, Yuan Sha merely frowned slightly as the destructive force approached. She murmured an incantation, and the palace emitted a soft blue glow.

The shockwave split harmlessly around the light, leaving the palace untouched.

As the blinding light faded, the scene in the sky became clear.

Three peaks now hovered in the air—one large and two small—locked in a stalemate.

The white peak shimmered with blue light, surrounded by swirling runes.

The black peak pulsed with gray mist, surging upward like tidal waves.

The green peak unleashed countless invisible sword energies, filling the air with sharp hisses.

The golden ape and Crab Daoist reappeared a hundred zhang away.

Yuan Sha’s eyes flashed coldly. She raised a jade-like finger and pointed at the sky, uttering, “Seal.”

A sharp *sizzle* rang out as the blue runes on the white peak exploded, releasing a bone-chilling cold that descended from above.

The black and green peaks let out mournful cries before being encased in pale blue ice.

The golden ape gasped in shock. Without hesitation, silver flames surged from its fingers as it prepared to hurl them toward the frozen peaks.

But suddenly, eight translucent figures materialized around them, each resembling Yuan Sha but made entirely of ice. They lunged at Han Li and Crab Daoist.

Zhu Guo’er, deemed too weak, was ignored.

Han Li’s heart clenched. The ape’s silver flames twisted into two fiery ropes, lashing at two of the figures.

Simultaneously, golden and green light flashed as his three-headed, six-armed dharma body and emerald spirit avatar appeared, intercepting two more figures.

As for the four figures attacking Crab Daoist, he opened his mouth and shot out four golden beams, piercing through them effortlessly.

The two figures ensnared by the silver flames were instantly incinerated.

The other two, engaged by Han Li’s avatars, fought fiercely, their movements unleashing waves of freezing energy. Their strength rivaled that of ordinary Demon Venerables.

The four figures near Crab Daoist froze mid-motion as the golden beams passed through them. With four casual palm strikes, Crab Daoist shattered them into pieces.

Han Li rejoiced. The ape’s fingers slashed through the air, releasing sword energies that shredded the remaining ice figures.

Far away, Yuan Sha didn’t rage. Instead, she smiled faintly, clasped her hands, and began forming seals.
