Chapter 2113: The Might of the Holy Crab

Even though Han Li knew that the Golden Crab’s attack would be extraordinary, he never expected it to be so devastatingly sharp!

Without even the slightest ripple of spatial disturbance, the golden light transformed from the golden scissors was already upon him, leaving him no time to evade with any secret technique.

Given the terrifying power displayed by the golden scissors, it was likely that no defensive treasure could withstand it.

In a mix of shock and fury, Han Li’s thoughts flashed like lightning. With a sudden roar, he raised his arm, which was sealed with the Profound Heavenly Treasure. Dark green runes surged across his skin as he slashed his hand like a sword through the air, unleashing a wave of azure sword light.

Meanwhile, to counter the incoming golden light, his other palm flipped over, its skin instantly turning a purplish-gold hue.

His fingers splayed open, releasing a rolling wave of five-colored cold flames that condensed into a five-colored ice shield in front of him. At the same time, a grayish mist surged around his body as the Magnetic Divine Light formed a protective barrier.

Not stopping there, he swiftly spat out a silver fireball that shot straight toward the golden light.

A thunderous boom echoed, followed by a sharp crack!

On one side, the golden light shattered the azure sword light, but when it struck the arm covered in dark green spirit patterns, it was bizarrely deflected without causing any harm.

On the other side, however, the golden light cleaved through the five-colored ice shield and gray barrier as if they were paper, only pausing slightly when struck by the silver fireball before flashing past Han Li’s waist. His protective spiritual light offered no resistance whatsoever.

Blood mist scattered as his bisected body plummeted from the sky.

The golden light coiled downward, instantly shredding the two halves of his corpse into a bloody rain.

The golden-robed man burst into laughter at the sight.

“Hahaha! I thought you had some real skill, but you couldn’t even survive a single strike from the Sacred Crab. For Baohua and Yuanyan to be intimidated by you—it seems they’ve become utter trash over the years.”

“First strike at 50% power failed to kill the target. Second strike at 120% power activated!”

But just then, a buzzing voice abruptly cut off the golden-robed man’s laughter.

As soon as the words fell, the Golden Crab raised both its massive claws high into the air. Layers of golden runes surged from its body, swirling wildly before condensing into a colossal rune sphere a hundred zhang in diameter.

The sphere was blindingly radiant, its golden surface gleaming ominously.

At the same time, a faint azure figure silently emerged from the void a hundred zhang away from the bloody rain.

The figure glanced at the blood rain, then at the Golden Crab and the golden rune sphere in the sky, his face deathly pale.

It was Han Li, who should have already perished.

The golden-robed man was momentarily stunned before sneering.

“So you have a life-substitution treasure. Lucky you this time, but the Sacred Crab’s next strike will still be the end of you. This just prolongs your miserable existence for a few more moments.”

Ignoring the taunts, Han Li stared grimly at the rune sphere above the Golden Crab.

The beast’s previous attack had been partially blocked by the Profound Heavenly Sword’s residual power, but the other half had shattered his defenses effortlessly.

Had he not urgently activated a Bloodwood Puppet, crafted from the Weeping Spirit Bloodwood, to take the brunt of the attack, he would have been maimed or worse.

Now, the Golden Crab had summoned an even more massive rune sphere, signaling an even more unfathomable assault. With a deep breath, Han Li abandoned hesitation and unleashed his strongest life-preserving technique.

With a low roar, he formed a hand seal. His body erupted in golden light as he rapidly expanded into a hundred-zhang-tall golden-furred ape. Behind him, golden mist churned as the three-headed, six-armed Fanasheng Dharma Form materialized.

Simultaneously, the ape slapped its head, and a half-chi-tall golden Nascent Soul flew out from its crown.

The Nascent Soul muttered a few incantations, summoning radiant light as the Dharma Forms of a True Dragon, a Rainbow Phoenix, a Thunder Roc, and others appeared in succession.

All the Dharma Forms, including the Fanasheng, circled once before merging into the Nascent Soul.

A deafening boom followed as golden light blazed.

The ape’s body shrank rapidly, and when the light faded, it had transformed into a human-sized figure.

This figure was covered in golden scales, its face and skin gleaming faintly. A green horn protruded from its forehead, and a sinister black third eye appeared between its brows.

The face beneath the scales was unmistakably Han Li’s—but now, it bore a terrifyingly demonic aura, his pupils flickering with gold and blue sparks.

In the next instant, a second golden head emerged from his shoulder, and two more golden arms sprouted from his sides.

In mere moments, Han Li had activated his second Nirvana Transformation, assuming a monstrous, demonic form.

“Nirvana Sacred Body!”

The golden-robed man gasped in disbelief.

As one of the Nirvana Ancestor’s three avatars, he had arrived at Bitter Spirit Island long after Han Li had entered the Spirit Cleansing Pool’s space, unaware that Han Li had mastered the Nirvana Sacred Body and could even perform the second transformation.

Now, witnessing Han Li wield a technique exclusive to his true form, he was utterly stunned.

But neither the Golden Crab nor Han Li paid him any mind.

The crab clamped its claws together, gripping the colossal rune sphere before hurling it toward Han Li with a burst of golden light.

Han Li, now in his transformed state, sneered with both heads. His sealed dark green arm rose, and countless dark green runes surged forth, coalescing into a three-foot-long dark green sword shadow.

Though he couldn’t yet unleash the full power of the Profound Heavenly Sword, the shadow in his hand still carried a fraction of its might.

With a single slash, the heavens trembled.

The sky darkened for miles around as the void hummed. Five-colored orbs of condensed world essence rained down, flooding into the dark green sword shadow.

The shadow’s strike unleashed a green sword light that swelled from ten zhang to a hundred, crackling with blue lightning.

The golden rune sphere, just before impact, emitted a muffled roar as thousands of fist-sized rune phantoms burst from its surface, spinning wildly.

A cataclysmic explosion erupted between Han Li and the Golden Crab, splitting the sky in two—one half green with sword light, the other gold with churning runes.

For a few breaths, the two forces clashed.

Then, the golden runes condensed into a dozen mountain-sized phantoms, each slamming into the green half with the weight of natural law.

Each strike shook the green sky violently. After seven or eight impacts, it collapsed entirely, unable to withstand the golden onslaught.

Han Li’s expression darkened. Without hesitation, he shattered the dark green sword shadow and thrust all four arms forward.

Four colossal golden palm phantoms materialized behind the crumbling green light, slamming forward to momentarily solidify the shattered barrier.

But it was a fleeting resistance.

The remaining rune phantoms smashed down, obliterating the golden palms. The golden light surged once more.

Yet in that brief respite, Han Li had already rolled to the ground.

With a thunderous crack, he transformed into a massive roc with four wings—two gold, two silver—and vanished in a streak of light.

The golden tide swallowed the space he had occupied, spreading across a hundred li in the blink of an eye, dyeing the entire sky gold.

But the spectacle lasted only moments.

The Golden Crab inhaled deeply, sucking the golden light back into its maw, restoring the sky to clarity.

The golden-robed man hovered above the crab, his eyes scanning the surroundings intently.
