Chapter 1675: Combined Attack Secret Technique

Cai Liuying raised her jade-like hand and effortlessly summoned the jade box from mid-air, which then vanished in a flash.

Han Li smiled at this and proceeded to discuss cultivation topics with Cai Liuying, deliberately avoiding any inquiry about her purpose for visiting.

The beautiful Crystal Clan woman, seeing Han Li’s demeanor, also smiled and refrained from mentioning her intentions, engaging in casual conversation instead.

Their conversation lasted a full hour, with both appearing perfectly composed, as if they could continue for another hour without issue.

The woman in the white hooded cloak, however, remained silent but grew visibly restless. Her gaze, faintly discernible through the veil, flickered between Han Li and the Crystal Clan woman, betraying impatience.

Noticing this, Cai Liuying frowned slightly before finally shooting Han Li a glance and chuckling, “Fellow Daoist Han, it’s only been a little over a year, yet your composure has improved remarkably. You’ve managed not to ask about my purpose until now. Have you recently cultivated some special secret technique, or has your cultivation advanced significantly?”

“Senior flatters me. This junior hardly possesses any composure. It’s just that since Senior hasn’t mentioned it, I dared not presume to ask,” Han Li replied respectfully.

“So, it seems I’ve wronged you, Fellow Daoist Han. But even if I didn’t say it, you should have guessed by now,” Cai Liuying said with a faint smile.

“Well… this junior does have some speculations. Could Senior’s visit be related to the Profound Heaven Realm?” Han Li ventured honestly.

“Haha, you’ve guessed correctly. My disciple and I have come precisely for this matter. I believe Fellow Daoist Duan will soon bring another person to visit you as well,” Cai Liuying clapped her hands lightly and laughed.

“In that case, could your esteemed disciple be…?” Han Li was momentarily stunned, his gaze shifting to the cloaked woman in surprise.

“Indeed, my disciple is one of the individuals I mentioned before—someone with a Magnetic Body,” the Crystal Clan woman admitted frankly.

“If I recall correctly, Senior previously mentioned that this person was a guest elder of your clan. How did they become your disciple?” Han Li asked, puzzled.

“Is that so strange? I only took her as my disciple a year ago,” Cai Liuying replied with a radiant smile.

“I see. This junior was momentarily confused,” Han Li said with a wry smile, his lips twitching slightly.

“Fellow Daoist, do you suspect I took this disciple solely for the sake of the Profound Heaven Realm?” the Crystal Clan woman asked meaningfully.

“This junior would never presume such a thing,” Han Li replied, his expression shifting slightly.

“It wouldn’t matter if you did. But I assure you, my disciple joined me willingly, without the slightest coercion,” Cai Liuying said dismissively.

“I truly entered Master’s tutelage of my own volition, without any pressure,” the cloaked woman finally spoke up, her voice low yet carrying an inexplicable magnetism that was quite pleasing to the ear.

Han Li, hearing this, wore an uncharacteristically sheepish expression and could only offer an awkward smile, choosing not to respond further.

“Truthfully, my purpose today is simple—to introduce my disciple to you. Once you enter the Profound Heaven Realm, the two of you will need to work together,” Cai Liuying said slowly.

“Senior, does this mean the Profound Heaven Realm will open soon?” Han Li couldn’t help but ask.

“You’re not mistaken. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Profound Heaven Realm will open in one month,” the Crystal Clan woman replied, her smile fading.

“One month? So soon?” Han Li was genuinely startled.

“What? Is there something Fellow Daoist Han hasn’t finished?” Cai Liuying asked, her eyes flashing.

“Not exactly. But if I had a few more decades, I might have reached a bottleneck in my cultivation, allowing me to attempt a breakthrough during this opportunity,” Han Li said with a helpless grin.

“That is indeed a missed chance. However, your current cultivation is only at the seventh tier of the upper race. Even if you reached the peak, breaking through the bottleneck wouldn’t be too difficult with some extra time. Besides, Fellow Daoist Duan and I have already promised you significant benefits. You should be content,” the Crystal Clan woman said coolly.

“Senior need not worry. Even if I wanted to back out now, Senior Qianjizi would never allow it,” Han Li replied with a smile, though inwardly he felt a chill.

“As long as you understand. Apart from introducing my disciple, there are a few more matters to discuss regarding the dangers of the Profound Heaven Realm and the forbidden ruins. You’ll also need to prepare some essential treasures before departure,” Cai Liuying said, shifting the topic.

“Please enlighten me, Senior,” Han Li replied earnestly.

The Crystal Clan woman nodded in satisfaction and began, “I won’t repeat the major taboos of the Profound Heaven Realm—someone else will brief you on those before departure. What I’ll share are my personal experiences and overlooked dangers from my own entry. First, avoid extreme cold or heat zones. These areas either harbor ferocious ice or fire-attribute beasts or are laced with deadly restrictions. Venturing there at your cultivation level would be suicide. Second, if you encounter…”

She spoke solemnly for the duration of a meal.

Both Han Li and the cloaked woman listened intently, knowing their lives depended on it.

“Lastly, if you ever see a strange crimson cloud in the distance, flee as far as you can. Hesitate even slightly, and you’ll perish without question. The reason needs no explanation—you’ll understand when you see it. That’s all I have to say. Have you remembered everything, Fellow Daoist Han?” Cai Liuying finally concluded, fixing her gaze on Han Li.

“This junior has committed it all to memory. Thank you for your guidance, Senior,” Han Li replied respectfully.

“Good. Since our business is concluded, my disciple and I shall take our leave. The next time we meet will likely be on the day of entering the Profound Heaven Realm,” the Crystal Clan woman said with a light laugh, rising to her feet.

The cloaked woman followed suit.

“Farewell, Senior,” Han Li hastily stood, appearing ready to escort them to the gate.

“No need to see us out. My disciple and I will leave on our own to avoid drawing attention,” Cai Liuying instructed firmly.

“Understood. Then this junior will excuse himself,” Han Li said with a slight bow, not pressing the matter.

Cai Liuying nodded and led the cloaked woman toward the hall’s exit. But as they neared the door, she suddenly turned back and added, “How forgetful of me—there’s one more thing I nearly neglected to mention.”

“Please speak, Senior,” Han Li said, surprised but prompt.

“Take this. It records a joint-attack secret technique. Though not complex, it’s best memorized before departure. Once the three of you enter the Profound Heaven Realm, don’t rush off—first practice this technique to merge your Magnetic Divine Light. It’s essential for breaching the restrictions and serves as a formidable combat skill to ensure your safety. I’d have preferred you practice beforehand, but with so many eyes around Cloud City, we must wait until you’re inside to avoid prying eyes,” Cai Liuying said, flicking her fingers to send a streak of white light toward Han Li.

Han Li caught it mid-air with a gray mist, revealing a pale jade slip in his hand.

“A joint-attack technique?” Han Li murmured, intrigued, before immersing his divine sense into it.

Such techniques, though rare, were known to him—specialized methods for multiple cultivators to combine their powers, surpassing ordinary teamwork.

By the time he withdrew his divine sense, the hall was empty, Cai Liuying and her disciple long gone.

Unfazed, Han Li flicked his sleeve, releasing a burst of azure light that enveloped him before vanishing.

Moments later, golden light flashed in a secluded chamber as Han Li reappeared, scanning his surroundings.

The golden three-headed, six-armed monstrosity and his purple-clad doppelgänger still sat cross-legged in meditation but soon opened their eyes at his presence.

“I’d hoped to fully refine you before entering the Profound Heaven Realm, but time is short. I must prepare supplies and forge the Magnetic Extreme Mountain of the Five Extreme Mountains first,” Han Li muttered, then waved his sleeve at the golden monster, releasing a golden radiance.

A wondrous sight followed—as the light descended, the monster’s body emitted a Buddhist chant before shattering into countless golden runes and a mass of inky black mist.

The runes were absorbed into Han Li, while the mist coalesced into a pitch-black infant—his second Nascent Soul, the Demonic Infant.

Grinning mischievously, the infant shimmered in purple light, clad in a miniature version of the Heavenly Devil Armor.
