Chapter 1332: Barbarian Beastmen

“It’s a Beastman! Kill him quickly, don’t let him activate the Human-Beast Fusion technique!” At the sight of the strange figure, Daoist Ma recoiled as if seeing a venomous snake, his face paling as he shouted.

Upon hearing the words “Beastman,” the blue-eyed giant and the others also showed expressions of horror.

Without hesitation, they unleashed their rare ancient treasures—rulers, seals, banners—transforming them into multicolored beams of light that shot forth simultaneously.

Under the flickering spiritual radiance, the strange figure and the massive beast below were instantly enveloped by the power of these treasures.

It seemed Han Li’s subordinates truly feared these so-called “Beastmen” to an extraordinary degree.

However, to the blue-eyed giant’s confusion, Han Li showed no intention of joining the fight. After exposing the Beastman’s illusion, he simply floated aside with his hands behind his back, leaving everything to them.

Frustrated but unable to question Han Li amid the Beastman’s counterattack, the blue-eyed giant and the others had no choice but to focus on the battle.

The Beastman let out a bizarre laugh, his shoulders shaking as the yellow tornado reappeared, surging upward to meet the incoming attacks. Meanwhile, the monstrous beast beneath him suddenly emitted a verdant glow, sprouting dozens of identical fleshy tendrils from its body.

With a mere flick, these tendrils transformed into hazy green shadows, joining the tornado in assaulting the sky.

Whether it was lightning, flames, or the crisscrossing sword and blade energies, all vanished without a trace upon contact with the tornado. Those that struck the green shadows were instead deflected back.

The blue-eyed giant and his companions were thrown into chaos, unable to spare any attention elsewhere.

As Han Li stood idly by, unnoticed by anyone, the silver fish in the pond below had silently gathered into two large clusters. With a faint silver flash, they suddenly morphed into a pair of silver eyes.

Almost simultaneously, the seemingly calm water surface rippled, revealing a transparent maw several zhang long, lined with crystalline fangs like ice blades.

The pond itself was an illusion—a massive, transparent, unknown beast.

Now, this translucent monster lunged toward Han Li in the air, its body moving silently as if it were formless.

Yet Han Li remained motionless, his gaze fixed on the distant battle, seemingly oblivious to the danger below.

In an instant, the beast was mere zhang away from Han Li. Its silver eyes flashed with savagery as its gaping maw snapped toward him.

A gray light flickered behind Han Li as the Magnetic Divine Light lashed out, transforming into countless slender threads that shot straight down.

The beast, startled, tried to dodge—but it was too late.

A sound like rain striking a fence echoed as the gray threads pierced through the beast, then coiled tightly around most of its body.

Han Li’s figure blurred slightly as he turned to face the beast, his expression indifferent.

Without a word, he opened his mouth and spat out a small black mountain.

The mountain spun rapidly, expanding countless times until it became a towering peak over a hundred zhang high, looming above the translucent beast.

Realizing the danger, the beast thrashed wildly, desperate to break free.

But as a water-attribute creature bound by the five elements, it stood no chance against the Magnetic Divine Light.

The gray threads flared brightly, tightening their grip further.

Meanwhile, Han Li began chanting.

With a resonant hum, the massive peak descended, crushing the beast from the sky and slamming it deep into the ground with a thunderous crash.

Half-buried, the beast was completely immobilized.

Only then did Han Li spare it a cold glance.

A furious roar sounded behind him, and Han Li turned slowly.

The green-skinned Beastman, locked in fierce combat with the blue-eyed giant and the others, had seen the translucent beast subdued. In desperation, it let out a chilling cry.

Abandoning the tornado, the Beastman slapped the monstrous beast beneath it and swiftly sank into its body, vanishing from sight.

“Not good—he’s merging! Stop him!” The blue-eyed giant, initially relieved by Han Li’s effortless victory, paled at the Beastman’s actions.

The young man surnamed Ying and the others reacted instantly, pouring spiritual power into their treasures to amplify their might.

Within moments, the leaderless yellow tornado was shattered. But in that brief delay, the monstrous beast’s body shimmered with emerald light, its form twisting and contorting.

First its legs, then its arms stretched, followed by its torso elongating. Finally, a bald head emerged.

Under the Beastman’s control, the beast had transformed into a towering black giant, dozens of zhang tall, covered in purple-black scales, its eyes glowing with sinister green light.

The moment it appeared, it swung two massive fists wreathed in purple-black energy toward the sky.

Two thunderous booms echoed as the fists shattered the radiant projections of over a dozen treasures, sending most of them fleeing in retreat.

Only the young woman surnamed Xu remained undaunted. With a cold snort, she pointed at her snow-white flying sword.

The sword let out a clear cry, expanding into a massive ice blade before vanishing into thin air.

A moment later, it reappeared above the giant’s head, slashing down with devastating force.

She intended to slay the merged Beastman alone.

But the giant, despite its size, reacted with shocking speed. Opening its maw, it unleashed a gale that sent the sword veering off course.

A black-purple hand shot out, seizing the blade in an iron grip.

With a vicious grin, the giant grabbed the sword with its other hand, clearly intending to snap it in two.

The young woman’s face drained of color.

This sword was her lifebound treasure—if it were damaged, she would suffer grievously as well.

Frantically, she formed hand seals, trying to recall the sword.

Though the blade emitted waves of milky-white frost and trembled violently, it remained trapped in the giant’s grasp.

Just as the giant took a deep breath, preparing to crush the sword, space rippled beside it.

A black beam as thick as a bowl shot out from point-blank range, striking the giant’s chest.

Despite its slender appearance compared to the giant’s bulk, the beam sent it staggering back several steps.

Before the black light had even faded, a silver firebird the size of a fist darted from the same spot, wings spread as it lunged at the giant.

Strangely, the mighty giant recoiled in terror at the sight of the firebird.

Regaining its balance, it turned and fled without hesitation.

But after only two steps, crimson threads shot up from the ground, coiling around its legs and transforming into blazing bonds that locked its feet together.

The giant roared in fury, reaching down to tear the restraints apart—

But the silver firebird gave it no chance.

In a flash, it landed on the giant’s back, erupting into a conflagration that engulfed its massive form.

A muffled explosion rang out as the silver flames spread like wildfire, consuming the giant in seconds.

The yellow tornado it summoned to quell the fire only fueled the blaze, turning into an inferno that left nothing behind.

From the black beam’s sudden appearance to the giant’s complete annihilation, only a heartbeat had passed—yet the blue-eyed giant and the others were left dumbstruck.

Though they had seen Han Li’s Devouring Spiritual Heavenly Flame once before during the battle against the Gu insects, its true terror had never been so vividly displayed.

Now, the Beastman who had given them so much trouble had been reduced to ashes in an instant.

It felt like a dream, their faces frozen in disbelief.

Han Li flickered through the air, reappearing above the silver flames. With a casual wave, the fire condensed back into a bird and returned to him, while the crimson threads dissolved into red strands that vanished into his sleeve.

“Capture that other Beastman. We’ll hand it over to the Alien Spirit Hall upon returning to the city,” Han Li ordered indifferently, glancing at the beast still pinned beneath the Magnetic Mountain.

“Yes, Senior! Right away!” The blue-eyed giant snapped to attention, producing a milky-white gourd inscribed with silver runes—a specialized artifact for imprisoning alien beings.

No matter the race or power level, as long as it wasn’t a True Spirit-level existence, this gourd could contain it—provided the target was immobilized and unable to resist.
