Chapter 1315: Jinting Boat and the Sky Abyss Guard

After withstanding over a dozen waves of thunderballs, his mana was nearly depleted in the blink of an eye, yet the heavenly tribulation showed no signs of stopping.

Han Li’s face paled slightly.

Though he possessed numerous abilities, few could truly withstand a heavenly tribulation. For instance, the firebird formed by his Devouring Spiritual Heavenly Flames had retreated into his newly cultivated Spirit Infant the moment the tribulation began, making it impossible to summon.

Similarly, the Five Ghosts and the Soul-Crying Beast, among other creatures, cowered fearfully under the tribulation, proving utterly useless.

As for treasures like the Eight Spirit Ruler and the Six Ding Heavenly Armor Talisman, they had already been destroyed during the spatial node incident. Otherwise, they would have been excellent tools to resist the tribulation.

Now, only two or three backup plans remained—all originally reserved for life-saving situations. But it seemed he had no choice but to use them now.

However, why was this minor heavenly tribulation in the Spirit Realm so terrifying? If all were this severe, how had other Deity Transformation cultivators successfully endured it? He refused to believe that every one of them was far stronger than him—there must be some trick to surviving the tribulation.

Frustration gnawed at him, and he silently regretted not gathering more information about minor heavenly tribulations beforehand.

Unbeknownst to Han Li, the tribulation he was experiencing had far surpassed the scope of a minor heavenly tribulation.

Only someone like him—possessing several heaven-defying abilities and top-tier treasures like the Void Heaven Cauldron and the Magnetic Divine Mountain—could endure this long. An ordinary Deity Transformation cultivator would have been obliterated by the first wave of thunderbolts.

Taking a deep breath, a faint crimson glow flickered across his body, as though something was about to emerge.

Just then, several miles away from where Han Li was enduring the tribulation, a spatial ripple surged, and a dazzling milky-white formation materialized in the air.

The formation spanned over a hundred feet, its runes drifting and shimmering with blinding radiance.

Though most of Han Li’s focus was on resisting the tribulation, such an eerie phenomenon couldn’t escape his divine sense.

His heart tightened, and the crimson glow that had just appeared on his body vanished instantly. While continuing to fend off the thunderballs with his Magnetic Divine Light, he turned his head coldly toward the formation.

No wonder Han Li was so cautious—this was a critical moment in his tribulation, and the sudden appearance of an unknown, bizarre object naturally put him on high alert.

Yet, there was something oddly familiar about this formation…

As Han Li scanned it with his divine sense, a thought struck him.

The milky-white formation emitted a low hum, then flashed brightly as a square golden ship materialized within it—an impossible sight.

The ship, seemingly forged from pure gold, was exquisitely crafted but covered in dense, pale silver runes.

The moment Han Li recognized these runes, his expression changed drastically.

“Silver Kho Script!” These were celestial inscriptions from the Immortal Realm!

The entire golden ship was about fifty to sixty feet in size, its surface engraved with spiritual runes and incantations. The massive formation turned out to be a teleportation array capable of summoning objects from thin air.

Han Li was stunned.

But what shocked him even more was the semi-circular yellow barrier at the ship’s center. Its walls were so thick that even his formidable divine sense couldn’t penetrate it.

Moments after the golden ship fully manifested, the teleportation formation beneath it shattered into pieces. Simultaneously, the yellow barrier vanished, revealing two golden-armored cultivators.

One appeared to be in his fifties or sixties, sporting a goatee, while the other was around thirty, clean-shaven and fair-skinned.

Their golden armor was also inscribed with Silver Kho Script, faint runes drifting around them—clear indicators of their extraordinary value.

When Han Li scanned their cultivation levels with his divine sense, his Magnetic Divine Light trembled, nearly collapsing on the spot.

Void Refinement cultivators! And one of them was at the mid-stage of Void Refinement!

Why would such beings appear here, precisely during his tribulation? Were they targeting him?

Han Li’s gaze hardened as he stared at the two men.

Far away, the yellow-robed cultivator and his group also witnessed the sudden appearance of the golden ship and the two armored figures.

While the Core Formation cultivators were baffled, the Fire Elder’s face twisted in horror as if he’d seen a ghost. “The Golden Court Ship! The Heavenly Abyss Guards!” he shrieked, his voice shrill.

“Heavenly Abyss Guards? Are they seniors from the Heavenly Abyss Divine City?” The yellow-robed cultivator’s face turned deathly pale, disbelief written all over it.

“No mistake. Now I remember—this man is indeed enduring a minor heavenly tribulation, but he’s a rare ascendant from the lower realm who hasn’t taken the Dust-Cleansing Pill to refine his body. That’s why his tribulation triggered this deadly two-colored thunder tribulation. The Heavenly Abyss Guards must have sensed the anomaly and teleported here to intervene. But it’s odd… why would they just happen to pass by?” The Fire Elder muttered blankly, his eyes fixed on the golden ship.

The yellow-robed cultivator and the others were too stunned by the appearance of the Heavenly Abyss Guards to respond.

Everything seemed to confirm the Fire Elder’s words.

The two Void Refinement cultivators on the ship immediately turned their attention to Han Li and the cascading thunderballs. Seeing that he was still holding on, they exchanged surprised glances.

One of them flicked his wrist, sending out a purple talisman. With a deafening thunderclap, the talisman transformed into a towering, ten-foot-tall giant wreathed in purple lightning.

The giant, bare-chested and exuding a savage aura, had blurred features but vaguely resembled a bearded man.

The other golden-armored cultivator also tossed out two talismans—one azure, one gold.

Amidst rumbling spiritual light, the talismans morphed into a massive azure cone and a golden hammer, both crackling with lightning and radiating immense spiritual pressure.

One of the armored cultivators solemnly formed hand seals, channeling spells into the giant.

The giant then reached out, grabbing the azure cone and golden hammer. The two artifacts dissolved into streams of light before reforming in its hands.

Meanwhile, the other cultivator chanted an incantation, coordinating with his companion.

The giant threw back its head and let out a dragon-like roar. Raising the azure cone toward Han Li, it swung the golden hammer down onto the cone’s base with tremendous force.

A thunderous boom erupted as purple lightning surged from the giant’s body. The hammer and cone blazed with dazzling electricity, and with an earth-shaking crack, a three-colored arc—purple, azure, and gold—erupted from the cone’s tip.

At first thin as a thread, the lightning rapidly expanded, twisting and coiling like a three-colored dragon, its brilliance illuminating half the sky.

As everyone watched in awe, the colossal lightning bolt vanished in a flash, only to reappear directly above Han Li.

The sizzling electricity and blinding tri-colored light made Han Li’s heart sink, his breath quickening.

But relief soon washed over him.

The massive lightning bolt twisted slightly before plunging into the dark clouds above.

A cacophony of thunderclaps followed as multicolored lightning danced wildly within the clouds. The once-relentless thunderballs dwindled to a sparse trickle.

Realizing the two were helping him survive the tribulation, Han Li was astonished but certainly wouldn’t refuse such aid.

Without hesitation, he descended, putting distance between himself and the increasingly perilous clouds.

His instincts proved correct.

As soon as he retreated, the colossal lightning dragon in the clouds shattered into fragments, releasing countless tri-colored bolts. The deafening thunderclaps tore through the once-impenetrable clouds, dispersing them within moments. Sunlight pierced through the thinning darkness.

Just like that, the minor heavenly tribulation was forcibly dispelled.

Han Li didn’t celebrate. After retracting his Magnetic Divine Light and Magnetic Mountain, he turned his gaze toward the golden ship now approaching him calmly.

The two golden-armored cultivators’ faces were now clearly visible.

Frowning, Han Li sensed impending trouble but remained rooted in place, waiting silently.

The ship, though appearing slow, closed the distance swiftly, stopping before Han Li within moments. The two cultivators scrutinized him carefully.

“Ascendant from the lower realm?” The fair-skinned cultivator in his thirties spoke first, his tone indifferent. “Strange—how did you reach this realm at the early Deity Transformation stage? No matter. Since we’ve found you, consider yourself lucky. Come with us.”

“What do you mean, seniors? Where are we going?” Han Li asked cautiously, startled that they’d identified his origins so easily.

“What do we mean? Your ascension must have gone awry. You neither appeared at a Flying Spirit Platform nor reported to the Heavenly Abyss City for service. Clearly, you were caught in a spatial storm during ascension and stranded in a spatial rift.” The fair-skinned cultivator smirked faintly.

“Flying Spirit Platform?” Han Li was puzzled, his expression wary.

“Indeed. The Spirit Realm corresponds to over a thousand lower realms, each with its own designated Flying Spirit Platform. All ascendants are immediately escorted to the Heavenly Abyss City upon arrival. Cases like yours—where ascendants are displaced due to spatial anomalies—are rare but not unheard of. However, without the Dust-Cleansing Pill, most perish during their first two-colored thunder tribulation. You’re fortunate we happened to pass by.” The older cultivator chuckled, offering an explanation.
