Chapter 18: An Siyao’s New Friend

“She’s always like this,” An Siyao’s words convinced Xia Yu that the girl in front of him was an enemy.

Since she was an enemy, there was no need to be polite.

Reaching out, Xia Yu grabbed the girl’s shoulders and, under her shocked gaze, pushed her against the wall.

Lowering his head, Xia Yu had originally intended to intimidate and threaten her, but gave up upon seeing the panic in her eyes.

After all, she was just a student at a prestigious school; being pushed against the wall like this should already be enough to scare her.

“W-what do you want to do?” the girl’s trembling voice revealed she had never encountered such a situation before.

After Xia Yu reached out, the girl immediately closed her eyes, bracing herself for pain.

However, the pain never came. Instead, she heard a soft laugh in her ear.

Carefully opening her eyes, the girl saw Xia Yu looking at her with an amused expression.

The girl nervously shifted her eyes, trying to avoid Xia Yu’s gaze, but he was too close, still holding her chin, leaving her unable to look elsewhere.

She could only look at Xia Yu’s face.

It was a beautiful face, and his overly aggressive gaze made her heart race.

“Don’t play these kinds of games anymore, understand?” Xia Yu pinched the girl’s cheek.

Pinching cheeks is an act of insult and provocation among hooligans, but since the girl wasn’t one, it was an affectionate gesture among girls.

Her heart raced even faster, and her face grew warm.

“Okay,” she softly replied.

Xia Yu then released her and continued on his way to class.

The girl remained rooted to the spot, staring at Xia Yu’s retreating figure.

In the corridor, other students who had witnessed the scene spread the news throughout the school.

In Senior Three Class B, Feng Yujia, who had been chatting and laughing with her desk mates, suddenly received a phone call.

Pressing the answer key, Feng Yujia heard unexpected news.

“Big sis Yujia, your little sister was cornered in the restroom by An Siyao!”

“What!” Feng Yujia slammed the table and immediately called her younger sister, Feng Yumo.

Still questioning her own sexuality, Feng Yumo dared not tell her sister the truth. Her vague explanation only made Feng Yujia believe even more that her sister had been wronged.

Gathering five friends, Feng Yujia immediately wanted to confront Xia Yu, but the sound of the class bell forced them to return to their seats.

Finally, after the fourth class ended, they rushed to An Siyao’s classroom, only to learn that An Siyao had gone to the cafeteria.

“Yeah.”

When Xia Yu asked for another meatball, she refused.

A tray was placed beside her. Her younger sister, Feng Yumo, the very cause of her confrontation with Xia Yu, sat down.

After sitting down, Xia Yu reflected on his constant act of taking food from Feng Yujia’s plate.

“Have this. You’re too thin. You need to eat more.” He picked a piece of meat and placed it on Feng Yujia’s plate.

Feng Yumo opened her mouth, wanting to tell Xia Yu that her sister didn’t like eating meat, but saw her sister blushing and picking up the meat and putting it into her mouth.

As Feng Yujia chewed the meat, she recalled Xia Yu’s imposing figure as he had scared away the five girls moments ago, her heart racing and her face warming up again.
