Chapter 442: Yuxiang Mountain

This is a war-sword-shaped spaceship, approximately 600 meters long, 100 meters wide, and nearly 100 meters thick. Its entire body is pitch-black, and standing before it, one could faintly sense an ancient aura, as if it had existed for an eternity within the river of time.

Cold winds blew, and snowflakes drifted.

Through the snow, Luo Feng approached this ancient vessel.

“It’s a Class-F spaceship forged entirely from Guiyan Stone Mother!” Ba’Bata’s astonished voice echoed in his mind.

“I know it’s a Class-F spaceship,” Luo Feng replied mentally, his gaze fixed ahead. From the front hatch, a group of figures flew out. Leading them was an old man with an aquiline nose and a lean frame, his appearance nearly identical to that of a human from Earth. He wore black battle armor, had a short, sharp haircut, and a smile on his face. A mark of snow and ice adorned his forehead.

The faint aura of dominion over the heavens and earth told Luo Feng that this man was a Monarch recognized by the fundamental laws of the cosmos.

“Sha Wu, greetings to you, Your Highness!” The gaunt old man gave a slight bow.

“Hail, Your Highness!”

A group of Domain Lords and Cosmic-level warriors behind him respectfully bowed to Luo Feng.

“Your Highness?” Luo Feng was momentarily stunned.

“It seems Your Highness is unaware of many things,” the elder chuckled. “Let us embark upon the vessel first. The journey to the Galactic Headquarters shall span three years. We must not squander precious time.”

“Alright,” Luo Feng nodded.

He was then respectfully escorted aboard the Class-F spaceship. The vessel’s interior was vast. The “guard” section of the sword-shaped ship housed the main engine room, with other compartments sprawling across the lower levels. Luo Feng now stood in a luxurious, expansive hall on the upper deck, 300 meters long and 60 meters wide.

Comfortable sofas, fragrant wine, and rare spiritual fruits were already arranged. Beautiful maids stood behind, awaiting commands.

“Your Highness, please be seated,” the elder smiled.

Luo Feng and the old man sat opposite each other.

“This place is impressive,” Luo Feng nodded, glancing around. “This Class-F spaceship, forged entirely from Guiyan Stone Mother, is a treasure!”

“Your Highness has a discerning gaze,” the elder’s grin broadened. “This vessel is forged from F6-grade Obsidian Stone Mother. Its edges are reinforced with the primal laws of the cosmos, granting it unparalleled sharpness. At maximum velocity, it can cleave through an entire planet, leaving it riddled with holes while barely losing momentum.”

Luo Feng nodded.

Like the Yimo Star, in terms of materials, the Yimo Star was even more superior.

“Mr. Sha Wu, why do you address me as ‘Your Highness’?” Luo Feng inquired with curiosity.

“It seems Your Highness has many questions,” the old man smiled. “Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sha Wu, a Monarch within the ‘Apocalyptic Realm,’ one of the core divisions of the Virtual Universe Company.”

Luo Feng nodded slightly.

Apocalyptic Realm?

It was the lowest of the four core realms. The names of the four realms were quite easy to understand. If a world’s evolution began with a primordial unity known as ‘Primordial,’ it then gradually formed and entered ‘Taichu,’ and finally, when it became a vast heaven and earth, it was ‘Tian Di.’ When it approached decline and destruction, it was naturally ‘Apocalyptic.’

Primordial, Taichu, Tian Di, Apocalyptic—these felt like the stages of a world’s evolution.

“Core members of the Virtual Universe Company are rare,” the old man smiled. “There are normally three ways to be accepted as a core member: first, the Genius War and the Stronghold War, which select the most elite geniuses across the universe; second, excellent talents cultivated internally by the company; and third, a few Monarchs who may also be admitted.”

“A few Monarchs?” Luo Feng was surprised.

Even Monarchs had no right to be core members.

“Precisely,” Sha Wu nodded. “Because ordinary Monarchs have no hope of becoming Immortals, and some have not even gained recognition from the fundamental laws of the cosmos. How could the company value or admit them? After all, there are far too many Monarchs within the company.”

Luo Feng nodded in understanding.

Indeed, the Kingdom of Qianwu had millions of Monarchs. How many more would the Virtual Universe Company, one of the five great powers, have? Hundreds of times more? Or even more?

“Only true elites, the genuine strong, can become core members,” Sha Wu said with a smile. “As for addressing you as Your Highness… among the four core realms, the Apocalyptic Realm is the outermost. Core members of the Apocalyptic Realm must refer to those from the first three realms as Your Highness if they have not yet attained the rank of Immortal!”

“And Your Highness, you have now stepped into the ‘Taichu Realm,’ a position of even greater prestige,” Sha Wu chuckled. “Moreover, any ordinary subordinate who is not part of the inner circle must address core members below the rank of Immortal as ‘Your Highness.'”

“Ah,” Luo Feng nodded slightly.

Your Highness?

In the vast expanse of the cosmos, this title was typically bestowed upon imperial princes or scions of royal bloodlines. Evidently, those within the Virtual Universe Company’s innermost circle—those yet to ascend to the rank of Immortal—were regarded with the reverence of crown princes, destined to ascend as supreme sovereigns of power. Their stature eclipsed even that of the princes from cosmic empires, many of whom might never grasp the scepter of succession!

“Your Highness, let us enter the Virtual Universe together,” Sha Wu smiled. “I shall guide you to the company’s Virtual Headquarters.”

“Alright,” Luo Feng’s eyes lit up.

The spaceship had already entered the dark universe, accelerating to nearly twenty times the speed of light, and continued forward at this constant speed.

Luo Feng first entered the most luxurious and comfortable lounge aboard the spaceship before projecting his consciousness into the Virtual Universe network.

Now that Luo Feng was a core member, his virtual assistant “Ba’Bata” automatically gained a new function. Once inside the Virtual Universe, he could be directly teleported to a special dimension within the Virtual Universe.

“Teleport!”

Whoosh!

Luo Feng vanished from the Nine-Star Bay residential area of the Black Dragon Island.

Virtual Headquarters Dimension.

This was a floating mountain peak shrouded in clouds and mist, an immense mountain even larger than an average planet in the physical universe. On one of the stone paths, a figure suddenly appeared—Luo Feng.

“Hmm?” Luo Feng looked around.

In the distance, the street was bustling with many people, and there were numerous buildings. Further to the left stood a cluster of beautiful villas.

“Your Highness,” a figure dashed from the distance—it was Sha Wu.

“Mr. Sha Wu,” Luo Feng greeted with a smile.

“Your Highness,” the gaunt elder smiled. “This entire dimensional realm serves as the ‘Ethereal Command’ of our corporation. In truth, the Ethereal Command thrives with more vitality than its physical counterpart. Many of the exalted ones cannot perpetually dwell within the material stronghold.”

“Indeed,” Luo Feng nodded.

“Come.”

The old man led Luo Feng on a tour. “This mountain peak, shrouded in clouds and mist, is called ‘Yuxiang Mountain.’ Its diameter is approximately 89,000 kilometers.”

“That big?” Luo Feng was startled.

Earth’s diameter was only about 10,000 kilometers. This mountain’s diameter was nearly seven times that of Earth.

“It must be large, otherwise there wouldn’t be enough training grounds,” the old man chuckled. “Yuxiang Mountain is divided into five zones: ‘Primordial Zone,’ ‘Taichu Zone,’ ‘Tian Di Zone,’ ‘Apocalyptic Zone,’ and ‘Common Zone.’ The areas of these five zones are roughly equal.”

“The Primordial Zone has no more than 120 inhabitants.”

“The Taichu Zone has about a thousand people.”

“The Tian Di Zone has about ten thousand.”

“And the Apocalyptic Zone has millions,” Sha Wu elaborated. “The Common Zone serves as a hub for commerce, entertainment, and similar activities. Individuals from all four zones are permitted access to the Common Zone. Ah, and Your Highness, crossing between zones is strictly prohibited—members of one zone may not enter another.”

Luo Feng nodded slightly, puzzled. “You said the five zones are about the same size, yet the Primordial Zone has fewer than 120 people, while the Apocalyptic Zone has millions?”

“This is about status.”

Sha Wu sighed. “When the headquarters selects elite members into the core layer, they are all placed into the Apocalyptic Zone. Outstanding Monarchs who are recruited are also placed into the Apocalyptic Zone! Most participants of the Genius War and Stronghold War are also in the Apocalyptic Zone… hence why it has the most people. The housing in the Apocalyptic Zone consists of high-rise buildings, with each person receiving an apartment.”

“In the Tian Di Zone, each person gets a villa.”

“In the Taichu Zone, one has exclusive training grounds and study areas, which is already quite luxurious.”

“In the Primordial Zone, there are no more than 120 people. It has a luxurious mansion spanning over a thousand kilometers in diameter, complete with various training facilities, immortal mentors permanently stationed there, numerous servants, and even personal sparring partners summoned at any time,” Sha Wu said, his eyes filled with envy.

Luo Feng was stunned.

The disparity in benefits was staggering. The Apocalyptic Zone had dormitory-style housing, the Tian Di Zone had villas, the Taichu Zone had estates, and the Primordial Zone… Goodness! A mansion spanning over a thousand kilometers in diameter? That wasn’t a mansion—it was larger than an entire province on Earth before the Great Calamity! It was practically a kingdom! And there were Immortal beings stationed there?

“The Primordial Zone has no more than 120 people, and among them, no more than 100 are Monarchs. Each of these Monarchs is a true unrivaled existence among Monarchs,” Sha Wu smiled. “They are all true elites of the company, so such treatment is not surprising.”

Under Sha Wu’s guidance, Luo Feng gained a general understanding of Yuxiang Mountain. It was a gathering place for the company’s core members below the rank of Immortal.

Standing on a steep rock, the old man pointed to a massive island shrouded in clouds and lightning in the distance. “Look, that’s Thunder Island, also known as the ‘Immortal Island.’ It is hundreds or even thousands of times larger than Yuxiang Mountain. All Immortals of the Virtual Universe Company usually reside there. If Yuxiang Mountain is the gathering place for core members below the rank of Immortal, then Thunder Island is the true gathering place for the strongest and the Immortals.”

“Indeed,” Luo Feng gazed at the Thunder Island in the mist, nodding slightly.

That place was considered a sacred ground for the entire human race in the cosmos.

“Your Highness, I shall escort you to the Taichu Zone, though I can only accompany you as far as its entrance,” Sha Wu said with a smile. “While the benefits of the Taichu Zone are slightly lesser than those of the Primordial Zone, it remains the second most prestigious. Once Your Highness receives your designated residence, you will understand why so many aspire to enter. Moreover, the Taichu Zone has just over a thousand spots—averaging roughly one per cosmic kingdom.”

“Taichu Zone, let’s go!” Luo Feng was filled with anticipation.
