Chapter 312: The Sea Speaks in Blood

Inside the spaceship, five national leaders were breathing rapidly. Obviously, the previous scene had happened too quickly—they had been enveloped by the creeping vines before they even realized what had occurred.

The Moliyun Battle Suit quickly retracted, revealing Luo Feng’s face.

“Luo Feng?”

“Mr. Luo?”

The five national leaders stared in astonishment at the figure before them, before breaking into expressions of ecstatic joy. They understood—they had been saved. Beside them, Xu Xin and Luo Hua also showed signs of happiness, and Xu Xin rushed straight into Luo Feng’s arms, hugging him tightly. “I was so scared… so scared that I’d never see you again, never see Pingping and Xiaohai…”

“It’s okay now, my love,” Luo Feng whispered gently.

He held his wife for a while before releasing her.

“Everyone,” Luo Feng turned to the others, “I still have something to attend to. For now, please stay inside this spaceship—it is extremely safe here.”

“Brother, be careful,” Luo Hua quickly added.

Luo Feng smiled, gently pinched his wife’s cheek, and then swiftly turned and flew out of the cabin!

Above the Pacific Ocean,

Luo Feng looked up at the spaceship vanishing into the horizon.

“It’s time for a real battle!”

“The Norraths really think Earth is their backyard, treating it like their personal playground!” Luo Feng hovered midair, gazing toward the direction of South America. He then coldly smirked and dove sharply into the ocean below. With a splash, he disappeared beneath the waves and entered the depths of the sea.

Inside Luo Feng’s Inner World,

A continent shrouded in golden mist. Previously, the Gold-Horned Beast had always resided within the metallic landmass, but now it had abruptly vanished, replaced by a human male. Logically, anyone—whether composed of metal or flesh—who entered this Inner World would be immediately decomposed and killed.

This was how the Gold-Horned Beast had devoured entire war bases in the past.

This decomposing force was the “Power of the Inner World’s Origin.”

Yet when Luo Feng appeared, this force seemed to recognize its own offspring. It swirled around him but did not harm him in the slightest!

“Luo Feng, go all out and slaughter them later!”

“I’ve already embedded my auxiliary AI into the spaceship and connected it to Earth’s satellite network. Any footage of this sea area will be erased immediately—don’t worry, no one will discover anything.”

Chase and carnage!

The furious elite forces of the Norrath family pursued Luo Feng’s eight peak Star-level servants without mercy. The brutal massacre spanned thousands of kilometers. Yet, their speed was staggering—fifty kilometers per second. In mere minutes, they had chased from South America straight to the region where Luo Feng lay concealed.

“Waves gently rippling,” the sea shimmered under the blazing sun.

“Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!!!” Tuoleiwu roared in fury. Not long ago, he had confidently assured his clan’s ancestor, “Clan Ancestor, there won’t be any problem—I swear on my life!” Yet in the blink of an eye, all the hostages had been snatched away. How could he not be furious?

They continued their relentless pursuit!

With overwhelming numerical superiority, they managed to slay one of the enemy’s 9th-tier Stellar Lords, though at the cost of losing one of their own 8th-tier Stellar Lords.

“Not one of you will escape!” Tuoleiwu’s eyes burned red.

Fifteen Stellar Lord 9th-tier warriors pursuing seven Stellar Lord 9th-tier warriors!

Among them, the 9th-tier Stellar Lords soared far ahead, while the eighteen 8th-tier Stellar Lords lagged behind, and the twenty-six 7th-tier Stellar Lords trailed even further in their wake.

As Tuoleiwu and the other 9th-tier Stellar Lords soared over this stretch of sea, the previously tranquil ocean abruptly erupted into violent turbulence—as if some colossal black beast were slowly ascending from the abyssal depths. Inch by inch, a jagged, mountain-sized dorsal spine broke the surface, its edges honed to razor sharpness.

“Look!”

“What is that?”

The eighteen Stellar Lords of the Eighth Tier trailing behind were on high alert—how could they possibly overlook such a colossal beast and the chaos it unleashed?

“It looks just like the description of the Devouring Beast we were shown in our files,” one soldier observed carefully.

“The Devouring Beast???”

“Look quickly!”

“It really does!”

“It’s so similar—the black scales on its back even have golden patterns.”

“Its head is about to surface.”

The Devouring Beast was far more important than pursuing those few escapees. At that moment, another group—26 warriors of the 7th-tier Stellar Lords—also arrived.

The Norrath family’s elite squad hovered midair, observing carefully. In the churning sea, an enormous head emerged. The head alone was over a hundred meters long—larger than an average high school playground on Earth!

Its sprawling back resembled an entire mountain range!

Huge beyond imagination!

Yet these elite squad members, who had come from the cosmos to Earth, were broad-minded and calm.

“Whoosh!”

The massive beast finally burst from the sea, its razor-sharp black scales glistening under the sunlight, reflecting dazzling colors. The most striking feature of its colossal head were the two towering black horns that seemed to pierce the sky itself, each adorned with intricate golden patterns, making them appear golden at first glance.

Its eyes—giant orbs of dark gold!

Like the eyes of Heaven and Earth themselves!

Cold, cruel!

“Devouring Beast!!!”

“It’s the Devouring Beast!”

“It’s really it!”

Not a single member of the Norrath elite squad felt fear—only excitement surged through them.

“Hurry, notify the captain!”

“Hurry!”

“This is incredible—the Devouring Beast is actually still alive!”

Tuoleiwu and the fifteen Norrath Guards were chasing rapidly.

“They run fast,” Tuoleiwu growled in frustration. Apart from killing one enemy during the initial chaos, he had been unable to catch up since. Because the enemy was focused solely on escape, it was difficult to chase them down. Yet Tuoleiwu thought of his promise to his clan ancestor, and his anger only deepened.

“Beep beep!”

His wrist communicator vibrated.

“Captain! Captain! It’s the Devouring Beast—it’s alive!” an excited voice came through, along with footage of the Gold-Horned Beast rising from the ocean depths.

“By the gods!” Tuoleiwu’s eyes nearly bulged from their sockets. The image flickering on the communicator screen sent icy tendrils creeping down his spine. Unlike the ignorant masses, he recognized this monstrosity instantly—the fabled Gold-Horned Beast, one of the most exalted bloodlines among celestial creatures. Should this abomination reach its apotheosis, it would ascend as a Ninth-Order Sovereign Monarch!

An existence nearly invincible beneath the Immortal!

The highest bloodline, nearly extinct, rarer than even Immortal-level warriors.

“This is the Gold-Horned Beast—and it’s still a juvenile!” Tuoleiwu felt a surge of reverence. Legends said that a fully grown Gold-Horned Beast could shake a planet with a stomp, shatter it with a single swing of its tail, and even destroy entire planets at full power!

The peak of the Gold-Horned Beasts!

A Sovereign Lord at its peak!

“Quickly, capture it!” Tuoleiwu roared.

“Everyone, stop chasing—come with me!” Tuoleiwu transmitted the video to the other 14 squad members via communicator, issuing orders. Some hesitated at abandoning the chase, but upon seeing the footage, they howled in excitement and immediately turned to fly toward the beast.

Above the ocean,

“Capture it!”

“Alive!” The eighteen Stellar Lords of the 8th rank and twenty-six Stellar Lords of the 7th rank were all overcome with euphoria.

Yet, the gradually rising Golden-Horned Beast raised its head, its frosty gaze locking onto the swiftest charging warriors of the Stellar Lord’s 8th-tier. A fleeting glint of murderous intent flashed within its chilling eyes.

Whoosh!

A tail, as if capable of shaking the heavens and earth, sliced through the air with terrifying speed. Nine of the eighteen Stellar Lord 8th-tier warriors were struck head-on. The first five hit exploded instantly with a thunderous roar, their bodies reduced to bloody fragments scattering through the air. The remaining four were either crippled or left with grievous wounds.

“Don’t confront it head-on—use agility!”

“Its massive body can’t keep up with our spatial shifts.”

The warriors were chilled to the bone, their flight paths becoming erratic and unpredictable.

Indeed, this was one of the Gold-Horned Beast’s weaknesses. In the past, Hong and Thunder burned their souls to fight it, relying on their smaller size and quick maneuverability. However, as one of the highest bloodlines, the Gold-Horned Beast had ways to compensate for this weakness—its entire body was a weapon!

Claws! Horns! Tail! Wings!

“Whoosh!”

The Gold-Horned Beast accelerated rapidly, its massive wings flaring open. Its wings were covered in scales, with razor-sharp edges. As it burst into full-speed flight, its wings wildly thrashed through the air. “Ahh!” One warrior was instantly sliced into three pieces by the wing.

“Its scales are too—!” Another warrior screamed in terror, only to be shredded into meat by a lightning-fast claw strike, blood spraying everywhere.

“Run!”

“It’s too strong—”

The colossal tail, as lengthy as the Golden-Horned Beast’s entire form, whipped through the air like a thunderous lash, obliterating three warriors in the blink of an eye—reducing them to shattered fragments! Though facing a dozen Stellar Lords of the 9th Tier posed a modest challenge for the beast, against those of the 8th and 7th Tiers, it was nothing less than a merciless slaughter!

Its four hooves crushed and trampled everything in sight!

Its wings flared like two dark clouds descending!

And its tail remained the most terrifying weapon of all!

In mere moments,

All eighteen Stellar Lords of the 8th Tier were annihilated. Truly, the Golden-Horned Beast had marked them for death with deliberate intent.

“Run!”

“Run!”

“Run for your lives!” The Stellar Lord’s 7th-tier warriors were utterly shattered.

At that instant, a flicker of savage bloodlust gleamed in the Golden-Horned Beast’s eyes. With a monstrous yawn, it unleashed an unseen force that swiftly engulfed the vicinity, ensnaring the remaining elite warriors of the Norrath family—each a 7th-tier Stellar Lord. Their forms twisted and shrank as they were inexorably drawn toward the creature’s gaping maw.

The closer they got to its mouth, the smaller they became.

Until they were tiny specks, vanishing into the beast’s gaping maw like a black hole.

This was one of the Golden-Horned Beast’s three innate arcane arts—the Devouring Technique!

The Devouring Ability was a cultivation talent that allowed the beast to consume large amounts of metal into its Inner World, with area-of-effect attacks. Weaker beings could be devoured and killed outright.

“Gurgle!” The Gold-Horned Beast seemed to let out a satisfied burp. Seeing the dozen or so streaks of light rapidly approaching from afar, it dove back into the ocean, leaving only a blood-scented mist lingering behind.
