Chapter 305: The Projection in the Sky

After completing the procedures, Luo Feng’s status in the citizen information system of the Hei Long Shan Empire was updated to “Planet Lord.”

“We must leave Biyan Star immediately!”

“Return home at once.”

“Right, contact Earth immediately.”

Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder immediately rushed to the planetary docking port of Biyan Star. They boarded their silver-gray spaceship and departed from Biyan Star, beginning their interstellar travel through space.

In the Void Universe…

The spaceship was continuously moving forward.

Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder were each in their own cabins, connecting to the Virtual Universe Network.

Virtual Universe, Hei Long Shan Island.

Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder suddenly appeared amidst the crowd on a wide street. Others glanced at them with some even showing disdain. Because… in the Virtual Universe, only those without property would appear directly on the streets upon logging in. Those who owned property would appear in their own homes.

“Third Brother, we’re rich now, let’s buy a house here in the Virtual Universe,” Thunder whispered.

He had been at the top of Earth.

Now, in this Virtual Universe, he was being ‘looked down upon.’

“Back then, we didn’t have much money and couldn’t spend recklessly. Now, we can. We’ll buy a big one!” Luo Feng nodded. Once property was purchased in the Virtual Universe, the owner could bind the codes of their family and friends to the property. Upon logging in, they would appear directly in that house.

Otherwise…

For example, Luo Feng and Xu Xin, being on different planets, would not appear on the same street when entering the Virtual Universe.

Unless they were like Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder, who were together in reality, they would appear in the same place.

“We’ll talk about this later. Let’s contact Earth first,” Hong said.

“Right,” Luo Feng nodded.

The three quickly found a nearby restaurant, entered a private room, and immediately began contacting Earth.

A screen materialized out of thin air.

Xu Xin’s image appeared on the screen.

“Luo Feng!” Xu Xin’s face lit up with joy.

“Xu Xin, how is Earth doing now?” Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder all stared at the screen.

“It’s terrible!”

Xu Xin urged anxiously, “Watch this video!” Typically, individuals connected to the Virtual Universe Network through auxiliary neural interfaces or “smart neural cores.” Though Xu Xin was utilizing a consciousness-link helmet provided by the Virtual Universe, its capabilities still vastly surpassed those of conventional Earth-based computing systems.

Xu Xin transferred the video from Earth into the Virtual Universe and began playing it.

“This is a video broadcast by the Noran Shan Family across all Earth’s television and internet channels,” Xu Xin explained.

“Beep!”

The video began playing!

“Greetings to all humans on Earth!”

“We are the Noran Shan Family from the cosmos, and we come in peace! Do not doubt our power…” The same video that had spread across every household on Earth was now playing before Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder. All three were elites from Earth, none of them fools!

After watching the video, they understood how dire the situation would become.

“Luo Feng,” Xu Xin continued urgently, “it’s chaotic now. Among the senior officials of the six major survival bases on Earth, there are many with opposing views. And the 6 billion plus population outside is in complete turmoil.”

Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder frowned.

They naturally understood the storm that the video would unleash.

“Brother-in-law,” Hong said gravely, “the video said they gave Earth humans 12 hours. How much time has passed already?”

“Four hours and eight minutes have passed,” Xu Xin replied immediately.

“Good, we’ll contact again in half an hour,” Hong said.

Beep!

The communication was cut off.

Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder looked at each other.

“Now that Third Brother is the Lord of Earth, using legal authority to intimidate the Noran Shan Family should work,” Thunder said.

“Yes, they’re just a major family within the Karo Empire, facing the might of the Hei Long Shan Empire,” Hong nodded. “They definitely won’t dare to defy the law.”

“I understand,” Luo Feng agreed.

“But I’m thinking, while legal measures are one aspect, we should also strengthen our own power. So I’m considering… whether I can buy a ‘Cosmic-Level First Stage Slave.'”

“A Cosmic-Level Slave?” Hong and Thunder were both surprised.

“I’m just considering it, not decided yet,” Luo Feng pondered. “If the price of a Cosmic-Level First Stage servant is within range, it would be good. After all, with strong martial power, we’ll have more confidence!”

Hong and Thunder both nodded.

Although there are laws in the universe, they are relative. The laws of the Hei Long Shan Empire have a strong deterrent effect on the Noran Shan Family because the latter is much weaker in comparison. If Luo Feng’s teacher, the Master of Yimo Star, were to directly seize a planet, the Hei Long Shan Empire wouldn’t dare to utter a word!

The stronger one’s martial power, the more confidence one has!

“Beep—Beep—Beep—”

Luo Feng initiated a call to the slave manager he had met on Qiulong Star when purchasing slaves. True to his reputation as a merchant, the call was answered in just a few seconds. A thin, green-haired man with an extremely enthusiastic smile appeared on the screen.

“Mr. Luo Feng, I’m so glad you contacted me. It’s such an exciting moment!” the green-haired man said enthusiastically.

“Wulà!”

Luo Feng smiled and asked, “I’m contacting you this time to ask if your boss can get… a Cosmic-Level slave!”

“A Cosmic-Level slave?” The green-haired man’s eyes widened.

The highest level of slaves is Cosmic-Level. To make a Cosmic-Level warrior into a slave, one must first capture them alive and then implant a bio-chip while they are unable to resist. Achieving this requires not only being stronger than the opponent but also many other factors to cooperate.

“If you really want it, we can get it! We have stock!” The green-haired man looked at Luo Feng. “It all depends on whether Mr. Luo Feng has enough funds.”

“How much for a Cosmic-Level First Stage slave?” Luo Feng asked.

“That would be in the trillions of Hei Long Coins, and for actual transactions, it’s usually settled in Qian Wu Coins,” the green-haired man reminded Luo Feng.

“Just give me a number,” Luo Feng pressed.

The green-haired man looked at Luo Feng in surprise. The first time he met Luo Feng, he felt that Luo Feng must have received excellent education and had an unusual demeanor. But he never expected… he would dare to inquire about the price of a ‘Cosmic-Level slave,’ something absolutely not for the average buyer.

“More than 10 trillion Hei Long Coins, around 10 billion Qian Wu Coins,” the green-haired man said. “That’s the minimum.”

“Damn,” Luo Feng muttered.

“Never mind, forget I asked,” Luo Feng said decisively. “Wulà, I’ll chat with you later. I have other things to attend to.”

“Haha, I have plenty of time. Mr. Luo Feng, feel free to call me anytime,” the green-haired man remained enthusiastic. As a merchant, that’s just how it is. He clearly understood… clients like Luo Feng, if well-served and kept happy, might one day bring in a big order.

A big order could make them a fortune!

Beep!

The communication was cut off.

Inside the private room, Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder looked at each other.

“The price is so high. I thought it could be done for two or three trillion Hei Long Coins,” Luo Feng muttered.

“It’s quite shocking,” Hong and Thunder nodded in agreement.

“Haha, Luo Feng, you’re crazy, wanting to buy a Cosmic-Level slave?” A sharp, sinister voice rang out—it was Babata on Luo Feng’s shoulder. “You should know that adding a Cosmic-Level warrior to an empire can earn you dozens of planets, although they’re just ordinary life planets. Together, they’re worth nearly ten trillion Hei Long Coins. Although Cosmic-Level First Stage is the weakest among Cosmic-Level warriors, it’s definitely worth more than ten trillion Hei Long Coins! And that’s just for the first stage. If it’s second or third stage, let alone sixth or seventh stage… damn, even scarier!”

Luo Feng was stunned, then said unhappily, “Why didn’t you say this earlier?”

“I was playing a virtual game just now. It’s much more fun than chatting with you,” Babata said proudly.

“A virtual game?”

Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder were speechless.

“It costs money,” Luo Feng couldn’t help but say.

“Playing virtual games costs so little that even playing for a million years would only cost a hundred million Hei Long Coins. For you, that’s just spare change,” Babata said carelessly, making Luo Feng even more speechless.

Other auxiliary optical brains or smart optical brains, no matter how intelligent, wouldn’t act on their own without the master’s permission.

But Babata had evolved into an ‘intelligent life form.’ It could feel sadness and joy, could understand, and could make its own decisions. It was no different from a normal person! That’s why it liked to play games… and it just happened to be Luo Feng’s ‘virtual assistant.’ Everyone who entered the Virtual Universe had a virtual assistant.

Almost all operations in the Virtual Universe were conducted through virtual assistants.

Therefore, when Babata withdrew money… in the judgment of the ‘Virtual Universe Central System,’ it was naturally considered that Luo Feng had ordered his virtual assistant to do so. Of course, it would be allowed! After all, who would have thought that Luo Feng would use an ‘intelligent life form’ as an auxiliary optical brain or smart optical brain.

“Alright!”

“Now that you’re the Lord of Earth, directly send the ‘Land Ownership Certificate’ issued by the Empire to Earth through the Virtual Universe Network. Then have all countries on Earth broadcast it publicly! Also, play the Land Protection Law from the Hei Long Shan Empire’s constitution. The Noran Shan Family is just a small family within the Hei Long Shan Empire, and they dare not defy it!” Babata said bluntly.

“Of course, you must first record and document all their information on Earth!”

“If they dare to violate the Imperial Constitution, they’re asking for death,” Babata was very confident.

Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder looked at each other.

They indeed planned to use this strategy, but hadn’t yet clearly thought through all the steps.

“That’s the plan!” Luo Feng’s eyes sparkled with excitement.

“Kid, you know the Imperial Constitution so well?” Thunder was surprised and patted Babata’s head.

“Don’t touch me! And don’t call me kid! Call me… the Demon Lord, got it?” The demon Babata glanced at Thunder and closed his eyes, ignoring him and continuing to play his virtual game.

After fifty thousand years of emptiness, how could Demon Babata not indulge in the Virtual Universe?

As for the safety of Earth?

Who cares? To Demon Babata, it didn’t mean much. At most, because of Luo Feng, he would offer some strategic advice.

Following Babata’s instructions, Luo Feng quickly began recording videos and gathering the relevant documents and proofs provided by the Hei Long Shan Empire.

“That should do it,” Luo Feng looked at Hong and Thunder.

“Yeah, no problem,” Thunder thought for a moment and nodded. “It should work.”

“About right,” Hong also nodded.

“Then I’ll send all of this over. From now on, it’s up to Earth to handle the operation,” Luo Feng took a deep breath and initiated a call to Xu Xin.

In the Milky Way, on Earth.

The experts of the Noran Shan Clan swiftly traversed every corner of Earth, particularly the over a thousand Star-level warriors. In terms of speed, many of them far surpassed the ancient “Devouring Beasts.” For a life-bearing planet with a radius of nearly 6,400 kilometers, orbiting it was but a trivial feat for them.

In the Shennongjia region of China, Earth.

“Incredible!”

“Heavens!”

“What… what is this…”

The eight direct disciples, including Pula, along with numerous other Noran Guards at the ninth stage of the Planetary level, were utterly stunned as they gazed into the depths of Shennongjia.

Before them loomed a terrifying, colossal sphere, ceaselessly spewing toxic fumes, shrouded in a deadly mist. The sphere spanned over 800 meters in diameter—what did that signify? It was akin to a mountainous orb.

The noxious gases it emitted had already claimed two Planetary-level warriors who had recklessly ventured too close—one at the third stage and another at the fifth stage—their bodies instantly withered and rotted by the venomous miasma.

“It must be a treasure,” murmured the crowd as they gazed upon the eerie sphere of venomous mist. Even the toxic fumes capable of slaying warriors of stellar magnitude were no mere trifle.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Instantly, the auxiliary optical brains of the eight disciples all sounded alarms.

“Master, a huge projection has appeared above the survival base in the Chinese region of Earth. You should see it,” the auxiliary optical brain screens of the eight direct disciples all showed the same scene.

At this very moment, every household across the globe, every television screen and digital network, instantly flickered to the same surreal image. Simultaneously, within Earth’s six colossal survival bastions—such as the territories of China and India—the bases unleashed towering three-dimensional holograms that pierced the heavens. These gargantuan projections blazed across the skies, painting the firmament with their otherworldly glow.

The three-dimensional projections were too huge.

Even from a hundred miles away, they were clearly visible to the naked eye.

“Greetings to the Noran Shan Family of the Karo Empire.”

“This is Luo Feng.”

“Just moments ago, the planet you are on, ‘Earth,’ has become my territory.” A majestic voice echoed in every household on Earth through televisions and computers. It also resonated throughout the skies of Earth via broadcasts from various countries. “This is the Land Ownership Certificate issued by the Hei Long Shan Empire.”

On Earth.

All the members of the Noran Shan Family, who had been arrogant, excited, and smug, were stunned. They either stared at their screens or gazed at the gigantic projection in the sky, as if looking at a god. In the projection, Luo Feng was speaking eloquently, and beside him appeared the Land Ownership Certificate. Luo Feng spoke in the universal language of the cosmos, with Chinese and English subtitles below the screen.

“Is… is this real?”

“It’s really issued by the Empire.”

Members of the Noran Shan Family across Earth were shocked.

In the massive projection.

Luo Feng held up a virtual book—it was the Constitution of the Hei Long Shan Empire. Luo Feng’s expression was serious as he flipped through the Constitution: “According to Chapter 12, Articles 61, 62, and 63 of the Hei Long Shan Empire Constitution. Unauthorized entry into a planet without the permission of the planetary manager can be treated as space piracy! You Noran Shan Family were previously unaware that this planet had a lord, so you are not guilty. Now I have informed you that this is my territory!”

“As the Lord of Earth, I demand that you…”

In the massive projection, Luo Feng’s voice thundered, “immediately leave my territory! Otherwise, your Noran Shan Family will be attacked by the army of the Hei Long Shan Empire as ‘space pirates’!”

“Attack!” “Attack!” “Attack!” “Attack!” “Attack!”…

Televisions, computers, and broadcasts across millions of households on Earth made Luo Feng’s voice echo like a tsunami across every corner of Earth.

On Earth, whether hiding at home, participating in protest marches, or looting stores, everyone was now either staring at their screens or looking at the large street screens. They all fell silent. They recognized the man speaking eloquently on the screen…

Luo Feng!

The pride of the human race on Earth—
