Chapter 289: Luo Feng’s Future Residence

The Milky Way, Bolan Star.

As one of the millions of inhabited planets in the Silver-Blue Empire, Bolan Star ranks near the bottom in terms of livability. The officials assigned here to manage the planet are definitely among those with little political background in the empire.

In the northern part of Bolan Star, in the extreme cold zone,

numerous ultra-large warehouse bases are scattered across the frozen land, each of them built with great precision and beauty. At this moment, in front of one of the larger warehouse bases, a silvery-white spaceship is parked.

“Director, when will that guest arrive? We’ve been waiting here for half a day already,” one of the people inside the spaceship says.

“Director, come on,” another middle-aged man holding a hot drink says lazily. “The contract has already been signed and the payment has been made. It’s really unnecessary for us to personally welcome this guest. Why not let some lower-level staff handle it? Our entire department coming out like this is overkill, don’t you think?”

The group had all arrived by spaceship, a luxury on Bolan Star, showing how high their status was. And the Director himself was one of the few power figures on the planet.

“What’s the rush?” the fat and jolly Director snaps, then lowers his voice. “You idiots, I’m just making sure you don’t cause any trouble later. Let me tell you straight: do you know how we signed the contract with this guest through the Virtual Universe Network? And do you know which bank the payment came from?”

“Which bank?”

“Noter Bank?”

“Braxx System Bank?”

The others guess some of the more famous banks in the Milky Way.

“The Cosmic River Bank!” the Director whispers.

Silence!

The group, who had been casually sipping their drinks, are now stunned, staring at their Director in shock.

The Cosmic River Bank!

It serves only the upper echelons of the universe and powerful warriors. The minimum requirement to open an account there is a deposit of no less than 100 million Heilong Coins! That’s equivalent to over a hundred billion Silver-Blue Coins. The richest man on an average planet might only have a few hundred billion Silver-Blue Coins, while the richest man on Bolan Star has only about 60 billion Silver-Blue Coins.

Thus, the Cosmic River Bank typically establishes branches only on the capital planets of “Initial Cosmic Civilization Empires,” key worlds of “Intermediate Cosmic Civilization Nations” such as the planet Qiu Long, and across countless planets within “Cosmic States.”

“The Cosmic River Bank?”

“Goodness!”

“Are you serious?”

The group looks at each other, stunned. The richest man on Bolan Star doesn’t even meet the minimum requirement for the Cosmic River Bank! Yet even that man had caused the planet’s management to fawn over him. For bureaucrats and military officers, no amount of corruption could compare to the wealth of a planet’s richest man.

“So all of you, be careful!” the Director hisses.

“Understood, understood.”

“Don’t worry, Director. We’ll make sure the guest is completely satisfied.”

“Absolutely no problem.”

The previously lackadaisical group is now full of energy.

“Beep! Director Bart, the guest has arrived. The communication is being transferred now!” a voice sounds inside the spaceship.

“Alright.”

The fat Director immediately stands up, suddenly very serious.

“Director Bart of Bolan Star, greetings. This is Luo Feng,” a voice comes through the communication.

“Greetings, Mr. Luo. I’m Bart, currently outside the warehouse base you’ve purchased,” the Director says with a smile. “Also, Mr. Luo, there’s no need to dock your spaceship at the planetary port. As a guest with property on this planet, you can fly directly to the warehouse base.”

“I’m on my way!”

The communication ends.

“Hurry!” the Director sharply looks at his subordinates. “Get off the spaceship and welcome Mr. Luo.”

“Yes, Director!”

Whether they are pot-bellied or old and frail, the previously lackadaisical group is now full of vigor.

Outside the warehouse base.

Eighteen high-level officials from the Bolan Star Commercial Bureau, including the Director, Deputy Director, and sixteen key members, are standing on the open ground in the freezing cold, wearing thick clothing and eagerly awaiting. It’s worth noting that the temperature here is nearly minus ninety degrees.

“He’s here.”

Eighteen pairs of eyes light up.

In the distance, a black spaceship appears and almost instantly flies to the front of the warehouse base, then slowly descends.

“This spaceship has the Heilong emblem on its hull. Could it be manufactured by the Heilong Mountain Empire?” As part of the management of the backward planet Bolan Star in the Silver-Blue Empire, they naturally feel a sense of humility when facing important figures from the Heilong Mountain Empire.

“This is a Heilong Mountain X-series!”

“Pure black? Isn’t that the mark of the luxury model in the Heilong Mountain X-series?” one young member exclaims excitedly. “The cheapest model of the Heilong Mountain X-series is over 600 million Heilong Coins per ship, and the luxury models are said to be as expensive as 10 billion Heilong Coins! Pure black! The noble pure black!”

This spaceship enthusiast, though very poor, can’t help but be passionate about all kinds of expensive and luxurious spaceship models.

“Ten billion Heilong Coins?”

“This spaceship is worth ten billion Heilong Coins?” the others are astonished.

“Ten billion? Still in Heilong Coins?”

The fat Director can’t help but swallow hard.

Goodness!

Even in the most prosperous and affluent place in the Silver-Blue Empire—the capital planet—only the top aristocrats and great interstellar merchants from the Heilong Mountain Empire could afford a spaceship worth ten billion Heilong Coins. Such individuals could easily get the pitiful management of a backward planet like Bolan Star removed from their positions.

“Beep!”

The outer hatch opens!

The eighteen Bolan Star personnel immediately stand straight, their faces displaying the most standard and enthusiastic smiles as they eagerly look toward the hatch.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Squadrons of personnel fly out in perfect unison, continuously emerging from the spaceship.

“This, this…”

“They’re all Peak-Level Nine planetary warriors.” They check their auxiliary light brains and are somewhat astonished.

A grand total of exactly one thousand Peak-Level Nine planetary warriors fly out.

“Goodness.”

“They could easily sweep across our entire Bolan Star.”

The Director and others feel their legs trembling and their hearts pounding.

The strongest person on their planet is a Stellar-Level One warrior. Yet even he would be doomed if attacked by a thousand Peak-Level Nine planetary warriors.

“Stellar-Level One, one, two, three…”

“Look, Stellar-Level Five!”

Another group of people comes out.

This group of more than a thousand people divides into two rows, like a guard unit, quietly waiting for their master!

Then—

Luo Feng, dressed simply, flies out of the hatch, followed by three bodyguards at the Stellar-Level Seven.

“Sev… seven… seven… seven? Stellar-Level Seven? And they’re mentalists?” The members look down at their auxiliary light brains, all feeling their throats dry. Three Stellar-Level Seven mentalists as bodyguards… what kind of background does this young man, who is merely a Stellar-Level Eight, have?

Luo Feng flies down from the hatch and looks at the eighteen people who came to greet him.

“Which one is Director Bart?” Luo Feng asks.

“That’s me. I’m Bart, the director of the Commercial Bureau on Bolan Star.” The fat director steps forward immediately, extremely humble.

Goodness!

Who could have such a terrifying entourage, with no less than three Stellar-Level Seven mentalists! Even the royal family of the Silver-Blue Empire doesn’t enjoy such high status. The shock of a thousand Peak-Level Nine warriors pales in comparison to the impact of these three Stellar-Level Seven warriors. After all, the cost of hiring a Stellar-Level Seven mentalist far exceeds that of a thousand Peak-Level warriors.

“Mr. Luo, I will introduce the functions of this warehouse base to you.”

“Mr. Luo, take a look. The entire warehouse base is solid and robust, boasting a defensive capability on par with that of an interstellar battleship. Even in the event of earthquakes or other disasters, the warehouse base won’t suffer the slightest damage,” Director Bart enthusiastically explained. Just kidding—this warehouse base was actually constructed using a massive amount of wreckage from decommissioned warships.

Its defensive strength is naturally not inferior.

A massive warehouse stretching 98 kilometers in length and 61 kilometers in width, covering an area of about six thousand square kilometers! It’s truly breathtaking.

In the center of the warehouse base, there is a residential area about three kilometers long and wide.

“What is this…” Luo Feng’s eyes light up.

“This is the residential area. If the warehouse base needs to hire workers or have people stationed here, they can live here! This residential area is quite old, Mr. Luo can completely demolish and rebuild it.” The fat director quickly looks back, and a pale young man steps forward, pressing the auxiliary brain on his wrist.

Beep!

A virtual projection appears in the air, showing a series of villa projections.

“Mr. Luo, you may select any villa that suits your needs,” Director Bart said warmly. “The villas are modular yet robust, designed for warmth and comfort. Simply transport the various components here, and a complete villa can be assembled in no time.”

“Mobile, disassembled, installed?” Luo Feng is somewhat interested.

On Earth, there are also mobile homes.

But compared to the planets with a higher level of civilization, it’s far behind.

“Are there any bigger houses?” Luo Feng looks at the virtual projection and asks.

“Bigger?” the director is taken aback.

But the pale young man beside him quickly says, “There are also manor series and even castle series. However, to transport them, it needs to be from other planets. It will take a little more time and be more expensive.”

“This is the manor series, ranging from ten thousand square meters to one hundred thousand square meters. This is the size of the main building, and as for the courtyards… they can be as large as you want.”

“This is the castle series, ranging from five hundred thousand square meters to five million square meters.”

Looking at these castles, Luo Feng is quite satisfied.

“Okay, I’ll take two castles.”

“I’ll take one of these nine-story castles covering one million square meters.” Luo Feng says.

Back on Earth, his small villa was clearly not enough.

After all, he has over a thousand servants!

And building on Earth is too slow. These mobile, detachable, and installable castles can be quickly assembled by his thousands of servants even if he brings them to Earth.

“This Bolan Star will be my transit point for future contact with the universe, my second base, so I’ll leave one castle here.”

“Earth is my root, so of course I’ll leave a castle there as well.”

Luo Feng thinks to himself.
