Chapter 1447: Suppression

“It’s Luo Feng.”

“Lord of the Milky Way is dealing with the Boundary Beast.”

“The teacher has arrived.”

A group of True Deities, who had been scattered at the periphery of the Original Universe, immediately ceased their dispersed guarding positions upon learning of Luo Feng’s arrival. One after another, they teleported toward the location of the Boundary Beast, arriving at the outer edge of the region where space had solidified. Naturally, the battlefield was completely sealed off in space, making teleportation inside impossible.

“Look!”

Chaos City Lord, Dark True God, and others gazed from afar.

The enormous Star Tower radiated endless brilliance, dazzling like a lighthouse in the dark. Its base emitted a mighty power that covered an area spanning several light-years, forming an infinite dark vortex. The endless vortex rapidly shrank, dragging the Boundary Beast, Moros, deeper inside.

“This is impossible!” Moros struggled frantically.

The power of the dark vortex was too overwhelming. Moros could not resist even by concentrating his entire being, let alone dare to disintegrate his body.

“Break!”

It roared, crimson light surging over its body as its resistance intensified, desperately trying to escape the dark vortex.

Yet even with its utmost effort, escape remained impossible.

“How can this be? Last time, even the combined power of the Star Tower and space-time bindings couldn’t contain me,” Moros refused to believe. “Although my strength has slightly diminished, can a single Star Tower really capture me?”

No matter how unwilling or disbelieving,

Resistance was futile.

“Whoosh!” The hideous Boundary Beast, Moros, was directly sucked into the abyss at the base of the Star Tower.

All fell silent again. The dark vortex vanished, and the radiant Star Tower descended back into Luo Feng’s palm.

Watching from afar, Chaos City Lord, Dark True God, Penggong True God, Huoqiong, and others were all stunned. Previously, they had known exactly how troublesome the Boundary Beast was—especially when it unleashed its crimson power, even Chaos City Lord and the others couldn’t contain it.

“Incredible.”

“Subduing it with such ease.”

“Lord of the Milky Way has grown far stronger than before. He’s undoubtedly the greatest True God in history,” thoughts surged through their minds.

What they didn’t know was…

Among the current strongest beings in the Cosmic Sea, even a Self-Create Master like Divine Eye Sovereign could barely create ninth-level peak secret techniques. With top-tier treasures, they might unleash tenth-level peak techniques. But Luo Feng, while comprehending ‘Chaos Evolution,’ could casually create tenth-level peak techniques. During his patrol against the Boundary Beasts, he not only unlocked his body’s potential but also digested those insights, temporarily elevating his strength to a new peak.

“This Star Tower given to me by Teacher Situ Shankè is truly extraordinary,” Luo Feng glanced at the Star Tower in his hand, secretly amazed.

The Star Tower’s value likely surpassed even that of Wuqi Divine.

Yet he still hadn’t figured out the true extent of the Star Tower’s value.

“Luo Feng.”

“Milky Way.”

“Teacher.”

One by one, they flew over, all looking extremely relaxed. Chaos True God even laughed, “Haha, breaking through to True God indeed boosted your strength significantly. I used every means at my disposal but couldn’t capture or kill this Boundary Beast. Yet you caught it alive so effortlessly.”

“Boundary Beasts are inherently difficult to deal with. Defeating them is easy, but killing them is hard,” Luo Feng replied.

“Capturing them alive is even harder,” added Dark True God.

The True Gods exchanged words, laughter soon filling the air. Obviously, capturing the Boundary Beast uplifted everyone’s spirits. From this, they could glimpse how terrifying Luo Feng had become as a True God. After all, during this incident, Luo Feng had barely revealed a fraction of his true power.

“Let’s go back,” Chaos True God said.

“You all go ahead first. I need to trap this Boundary Beast within the Star Tower,” Luo Feng replied. “I’ll also interrogate it a bit to see if I can get any useful intelligence.”

“Dealing with the Boundary Beast is the priority,” the other True Gods nodded in agreement.

The True Gods of the Human Race departed one by one. Luo Feng rode the Star Tower directly back to his Small Universe, as within his own Small Universe, aided by the Origin, he could unleash his full strength.

Inside the Tower,

Within a suppression space,

The hideous Boundary Beast, Moros, stood on the ground. An invisible yet powerful pressure constantly enveloped it, yet it remained calm, silently waiting.

“Boundary Beast.” A white-robed figure appeared, stepping through the void and landing on the ground.

“Lord of the Milky Way…” Moros glared at Luo Feng, his voice rasping, “Luo Feng!”

“Boundary Beast, you…” Luo Feng began.

“Call me Moros!” Moros raised his two heads. “You have the right to call me by my name.”

Luo Feng grinned, “Fine, Moros.”

Moros nodded, “Among all races in the Cosmic Sea, only you have earned my respect! Your current strength is indeed terrifying. Even if I remain at the third stage… I still couldn’t escape the suction of your Star Tower.”

Luo Feng raised his eyebrows.

Star Tower?

Well, it made sense. There were True Gods who had allied with Moros. It wasn’t strange that Moros knew about the ‘Star Tower.’

“Pity you returned too soon,” Moros shook his head. “I expected you to be waiting outside some True God’s Small Universe in the Second Cycle Age or even the First Cycle Age. It should have taken you days to return… I was willing to risk everything to devour the Origin of the Original Universe. Without the Will of the Originist’s blessing… it would take me days. Even with numerous True Gods from your race hindering me, I was confident I could consume more than half the Origin, cutting off your race’s hope for future ascension. But I didn’t expect you to return so quickly.”

Luo Feng nodded.

Moros’s plan was sound. With his methods, devouring for a few seconds at a time, continuously, he could have consumed more than half the Origin of the Original Universe! However, Luo Feng’s teleportation distance was at the level of Void True God, so he returned in just over an hour. Moros had devoured less than 10% of the Origin!

“I would be thrilled with revenge, but failure doesn’t bother me much,” Moros stared at Luo Feng. “I’m merely a second-stage Boundary Beast. What awaits you, what awaits your Human Race, will be a true catastrophe, hahaha…”

In a fit of maniacal, ear-splitting laughter, Moros suddenly attempted to self-destruct.

Buzz!

Buzz!

Buzz!

Simultaneously, three layers of force instantly descended upon Moros. The first was the suppressing power of the ‘Single Thought Void’ from the Murderous Wu Wings. The second was the suppressing power of the ‘Suppression Space’ within the Star Tower. The third was the immense power of the Origin of Luo Feng’s Small Universe.

These three layers of suppression rendered Moros unable to self-destruct.

“What?” Moros stared at Luo Feng in shock.

Luo Feng smiled.

An immortal facing a Cosmic Sovereign couldn’t even self-destruct in the Sovereign’s presence! That was the absolute disparity in strength! And now, even a peak second-stage Moros couldn’t self-destruct before Luo Feng.

“You really are stronger than before, able to suppress even my self-destruction,” Moros growled angrily.

If it were divine power, Moros’s strength would have wildly clashed.

But the forces Luo Feng used—whether the ‘Single Thought Void,’ the suppression space of the Star Tower, or the Origin power—weren’t divine power. Moros had no room to resist.

“You don’t need to be in such a hurry to die,” Luo Feng spoke.

In truth, suppressing self-destruction was difficult. Out in the open, without the Origin of his Small Universe or the suppression power of the Star Tower’s inner space, Luo Feng wouldn’t have been able to do it either.

The Star Tower was a mysterious artifact.

Besides its offensive capabilities, its primary function was suppression! Once inside the Star Tower… dying was no easy feat! This made Luo Feng increasingly suspicious of the Star Tower’s origins. He no longer believed Situ Shankè’s claim of forging it himself. Nor did he believe the story about golden light entering it and changing its properties.

How convenient could that be?

A golden light entered, and suddenly the artifact bore supremely advanced secret techniques? Even at Luo Feng’s current level, some of the Star Tower’s secret patterns remained unfathomable.

Given Situ Shankè’s vague connection to the ‘Jin World,’ Luo Feng was more inclined to believe… the Star Tower was likely a treasure left behind by the supreme beings of the ancient Jin Kingdom, such as the Jin Divine King and his group of powerful followers. That possibility seemed far more plausible.

“I can’t self-destruct,” Moros sneered. “Do you think… by imprisoning me, you can prevent my Boundary Beast race from producing the final King?”

Luo Feng smiled, “That was exactly my intention.”

According to the Will of the Origin, the Boundary Beasts would fight and devour each other until only one remained—the Boundary Beast King. But if Luo Feng imprisoned one, preventing others from coming to kill it… even if the remaining Boundary Beasts fought among themselves until only one super-strong one remained, even if Luo Feng couldn’t defeat it, as long as that super-strong Boundary Beast didn’t kill Moros, it couldn’t become the Boundary Beast King!

Without becoming the Boundary Beast King, there would still be a chance to turn the tide.

“You’re wrong,” Moros scoffed. “I can’t self-destruct, but in the future… I must fight. If I refuse to fight, I will immediately collapse and vanish. That is our fate. You can’t suppress it.”

Luo Feng pondered deeply.

In the future, Moros must fight?

It seemed the emergence of the final King among the Boundary Beasts couldn’t be suppressed. Cheating wouldn’t work.

“I see your confidence,” Luo Feng said. “So your Boundary Beasts are really that powerful?”

“Of course,” Moros scoffed. “It’s too easy to sweep through all races of your Cosmic Sea. Even the Primordial Universe will eventually have to self-destruct to escape.”

“But judging from you, your Boundary Beasts seem quite weak,” Luo Feng replied.

Moros glanced at Luo Feng, “Trying to tempt me into revealing detailed intelligence about the ‘Boundary Beast Nest’? No need to be so subtle. Just ask directly.”

“Fair enough,” Luo Feng nodded. “Tell me, how many Boundary Beasts are there in the Nest, and roughly what are their strengths?”

“You really think I’ll tell you?” Moros glared with his two single eyes, “Didn’t expect you to be so foolish!”

Luo Feng furrowed his brows.

“Hahaha, so foolish, so foolish,” Moros threw his head back in laughter. “Kill me! Aren’t you angry? Kill me! Come on!”

“Not cooperating?” Luo Feng shook his head. “Wait until you become my servant. Let’s see if you’ll cooperate then.” Then Luo Feng pointed remotely. A faintly translucent triangular tower-shaped light flew from his fingertip, directly heading toward Moros. Moros tried to dodge, but under the suppression of numerous forces, he couldn’t escape. The triangular tower-shaped light pierced into his chest.
