Chapter 1402: Temptation

“Go!” commanded the Lord of Chaos, “You all have maps of the Jin World. This time, Luo Feng need not guide you. I hope you all pass the army selection.”

Each of the Cosmic Lords showed great respect and flew out of the Star Tower one by one.

Following closely behind, this group of Cosmic Lords from the Hong Alliance successively boarded their palace treasures or flew directly, piercing through the cosmic membrane into the Jin World.

As time passed,

In the void outside the Jin World, one by one, teams sent by various factions began to return. Yet Luo Feng’s Star Tower still floated motionless in the void.

” Luo Feng?” the Lord of Chaos turned to look at Luo Feng beside him.

“Not in a hurry,” Luo Feng nodded with a smile.

Just then—

Whoosh!

A silver warship suddenly flew out from the cosmic membrane of the distant Jin World, rapidly flying toward them. As it approached the Star Tower, it automatically shrank in size and flew directly into it.

“What is this?” the Lord of Chaos looked at Luo Feng in confusion.

“Didn’t I say I had a significant harvest in the Jin World?” Luo Feng turned his head to look aside, where a giant golden-horned beast with a black luster walked in, “I’m just bringing my harvest out.”

“Harvest?” the Lord of Chaos showed delight on his face. He also knew that Luo Feng’s current authority was great enough to kill all the Cosmic Lords who entered simultaneously—and kill them all at once. How immense would that power be? It was only natural that he had acquired sufficient treasures in the Jin World.

However, the Lord of Chaos had never been clear exactly how many treasures Luo Feng had obtained.

“Ten sets of mechanical-type treasures! A total of one hundred sets of divine-grade weapons and armor,” Luo Feng did not hide anything. There was no need to conceal it. Compared to his vast military achievements, this was just a tiny portion.

“So much!” the Lord of Chaos was greatly shocked.

He knew Luo Feng would have a lot, but this was just too much…

“Divine-grade treasures are the supreme treasures in our Cosmic Sea. One hundred supreme treasures?” The Lord of Chaos couldn’t help but change his expression, “This is simply unbelievable. The total number of supreme treasures from all other factions combined might only be about a hundred.”

Luo Feng shook his head, “That was in the past. With all factions entering the Jin World, the treasures in our Cosmic Sea are destined to increase rapidly.”

“That’s true,” the Lord of Chaos nodded, then said solemnly, “With so many treasures, they must not be distributed carelessly. There are rules for the race, and naturally, all disposal rights of what you obtained belong to you, Luo Feng. If they want to obtain them, they must pay a certain price or contribute.”

Luo Feng nodded, “I have my own plans. Of course, they only need to make a certain contribution.”

The two of them were now the highest-ranking individuals in the human race.

What internal rules existed among humans, they were the ones to establish.

“It’s time to go back,” Luo Feng looked toward the outside void, then controlled the Star Tower to fly outward.

Since obtaining his title, he had been granted the ‘borrowing of the Jin World’s world power’ by the Jin Divine King. Within the Jin World, aside from the Divine Kings who never came out, he was now the highest-ranking individual. Naturally, there would be no more troubles or complications within the Jin World, for with the power of the Jin World, even an Eternal Divine could be suppressed!

His main focus could now fully shift to the Cosmic Sea and back to his race!

However, he left his Earthman main body in the Jin World, partly to handle unexpected situations and exchange for treasures appropriately, and partly because if he suddenly disappeared, even for a short period, a long absence might cause anxiety and searches from high-level officials like the Four Generals of the Jin World.

“The Tomb Ship returns!”

“Also bringing out the Wuqi Divine. After all, in the Jin World, there is no need to use the Wuqi Divine anymore. I am already invincible.”

“The golden-horned beast’s clone also returns. Next, the dangers in the Cosmic Sea will likely still be significant.”

Luo Feng’s Earthman main body made preparations in the Jin World, waiting for the many powerful experts from the Purple Moon Holy Land’s universe and the allied forces’ camp to enter the army. However, just flying and traveling to reach the army might take months, or even longer. Therefore, Luo Feng set the date for his “Great Sweep” to be one year later!

In the territory of the insect race in the Primordial Universe,

“Beasts of Boundless Chaos?”

“There are such terrifying creatures,” the Insect Queen sat on her throne, frowning in thought, “This time we are completely unprepared, so there’s no need to rush over. Even if we do rush over, by the time we arrive outside the small universe of the Jin World, the cosmic membrane will likely no longer be white.”

“Prepare well.”

“Enter the Fourth Epoch.”

“We must obtain sufficient treasures,” the Insect Queen pondered.

In fact, although the various factions in the Cosmic Sea sent in many Cosmic Lords, very few Divine Beings entered. Because each Divine Being was a pillar of their race, and if one fell, it would result in the collapse of the small universe and the demise of all life within it. Therefore, sending Divine Beings on dangerous missions naturally required the utmost caution.

They were also eager to make plans, and this time the message conveyed by the Primordial Will had prompted them to make a decision.

Some had already entered the Jin World this time.

More were planning to enter the Jin World in the Fourth Epoch!

In the core of the human territory in the Primordial Universe, the ‘Primordial Secret Realm,’

“These mechanical-type treasures are surprisingly amazing. Their power is so great,” the Lord of Chaos stood there, radiating golden light, with three pairs of golden wings behind him, emitting a mighty pressure. This was undoubtedly an excellent mechanical-type treasure, one of the upper-tier among the many mechanical-type treasures Luo Feng had obtained in the Wuqi Tower.

“With this treasure, my strength can increase by two levels,” the Lord of Chaos shook his head, “No wonder the Primordial Will sent all the powerful experts to the Jin World.”

“He was also forced into a corner,” Luo Feng said, “If not for the Beasts of Boundless Chaos, we probably would never have discovered the Jin World.”

“Hmm,” the Lord of Chaos nodded as well.

During the journey back to the Primordial Universe, he had tested the power of the mechanical-type treasures and was delighted beyond measure. It might be somewhat troublesome for other Cosmic Lords of humanity to obtain treasures, but Luo Feng directly gifted the Lord of Chaos with a complete set of mechanical-type treasures: one soul supreme treasure, one palace supreme treasure, and one domain supreme treasure, fully equipped.

The Lord of Chaos also knew of the impending crisis and did not refuse.

“Luo Feng, your contributions to our race are comparable to those of the Original Ancestor,” the Lord of Chaos had said upon receiving these treasures during their return journey.

“My teacher has always been guarding our race’s core, protecting and managing our race, enabling it to continuously grow stronger and more prosperous. That is the greatest merit,” Luo Feng had replied at the time.

Back in the Primordial Universe, even with the mechanical-type treasures, he could only display sixth-stage peak combat power.

Yet the Lord of Chaos was still extremely pleased with these treasures.

“If the Axe had possessed these treasures back then, things wouldn’t have ended up like that…” the Lord of Chaos sighed softly.

“Teacher,” Luo Feng had just started to speak when he frowned and turned his gaze outward.

The Lord of Chaos also looked outward in confusion, “It’s the three Ancestral Gods.”

“Let’s go.”

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Both of them vanished into thin air.

Above the boundless abyss sea in the Primordial Secret Realm stood three figures—the three Ancestral Gods of the Ancestral God Church.

Luo Feng of the Abyss Sea and the Lord of Chaos appeared together.

“Why have the three of you, the Ancestral Gods, come here?” the Lord of Chaos asked directly.

The elder among the Three Ancestral Gods spoke, “Chaos, we have come here by the decree of the Primordial Will, specifically for Lord Milky Way.”

“For me?” Luo Feng frowned.

The young Ancestral God spoke frankly, “Indeed. As decreed by the Primordial Will… although Lord Milky Way holds only the rank of Cosmic Lord, in terms of power, you are the mightiest within the Cosmic Sea.”

“The strongest in the Cosmic Sea?” the Lord of Chaos was greatly shocked.

Such words, if spoken by other experts, might be dismissed, but if it was the will of the Primordial Will, then it was truly astonishing.

“The greater the power, the heavier the responsibility,” the young Ancestral God continued, “When a crisis arises, it is only natural for the strong to step forward. Although previously, when we three Ancestral Gods addressed the various factions across the universe, we stated that Cosmic Lords should not oppose the Beasts of Boundless Chaos. However, that rule applied only to ordinary Cosmic Lords. Lord Milky Way, you are an exception.”

The two-faced Ancestral God also spoke, “Lord Milky Way, as the most powerful being in the Cosmic Sea, if even you cannot accomplish this, who else could possibly stand against the Beasts of Boundless Chaos?”

The Elderly Ancestral God also said, “Furthermore, Lord Milky Way is merely a Cosmic Lord with several avatars. Even if one perishes, it can swiftly be reformed from the endless abyss sea. There would be no major issue—only the loss of some treasures. At this critical juncture when countless races in the Cosmic Sea face annihilation, with your avatars and your status as the supreme powerhouse, Lord Milky Way, you are the most suited to confront the Beasts of Boundless Chaos.”

“There’s no need to flatter me,” Luo Feng scoffed, “Being the strongest in the Cosmic Sea is merely a temporary title. The strongest beings in the universe have not yet obtained mechanical-type treasures. Once they do, their strength will surge, and my position as the strongest may no longer be secure.”

“As for the Beasts of Boundless Chaos?” Luo Feng shook his head, “Whether I should go or not, I have my own plans.”

The elderly Ancestral God spoke directly, “Confronting the Beasts of Boundless Chaos is an immeasurable meritorious deed, allowing you to make numerous requests to the Primordial Universe. Even if your accomplishments are significant enough, the ‘Original Ancestor’ of your human race, who is currently suppressed by the Primordial Universe, could be released.”

“What!” the Lord of Chaos exclaimed.

“Release the Original Ancestor!” Luo Feng was also both surprised and delighted.

The young Primal God continued, “Indeed, the greater the accomplishments, the higher the demands you can make. Freeing the Original Ancestor… is even more challenging than requesting mechanical-type treasures from the Primordial Universe. The Primordial Will declared that once the Original Ancestor is released, he could immediately break through to a higher realm. In principle, he must never be set free but should only perish alongside the Primordial Universe upon its destruction. However, the merit of slaying the Beasts of Boundless Chaos, which threaten countless races, could warrant the Original Ancestor’s release and grant him freedom.”

Luo Feng and the Lord of Chaos exchanged glances.

“If Lord Milky Way has any doubts, you may come to our Secret Realm and ask us three. We can directly communicate with the Primordial Will and inform you of everything,” said the young Ancestral God.

“We won’t stay any longer.”

The three ancestral deities smiled faintly, then tore through the void and vanished in an instant.
