Chapter 1205: Dongbo Xueying’s Ultimate Secret Technique

On the battlefield, all sides were engaged in fierce combat while also keeping an eye on the overall situation.

The black-clad young woman, King Fusuo… was capable of matching His Highness Bloodflame Ji head-on! She had left the clan’s territory only after failing to compete for the position of elder, and her combat prowess was beyond doubt.

A cultivator previously considered merely a second-tier Cosmic God, the least threatening among them, was actually on par with King Fusuo? This shocked all parties present.

“Let us fight while advancing toward our clan’s territory,” His Highness Bloodflame Ji exclaimed in delight upon seeing this, simultaneously transmitting his voice to all sides.

“Good, let us press toward the core,” the Swordmaster replied with relative ease. Though he couldn’t defeat the two elders, he managed to entangle them with his sword, preventing them from targeting others.

“His strength…?” King Fusuo, the black-clad young woman, grew furious as she unleashed a flurry of attacks. Each of her strikes carried an aura of death and immense power, yet Dongbo Xueying found them easy to handle—her techniques were imposing but lacked sophistication. He even managed to gain a slight upper hand.

“Primordial Chaos Ocean!”

Dongbo Xueying also split his focus to unleash the Primordial Chaos Ocean.

Rumble—

The surrounding area was instantly engulfed in a surging domain of oppressive force, combined with the ‘world power’ of the Voidfire Lotus. This was Dongbo Xueying’s most devastating technique. While the two formidable elders could withstand it, the other ‘Kings’ of the Deathblight Race found themselves weighed down by layers of suppression, their every movement hindered, their strength drastically diminished!

Though the Primordial Chaos Ocean’s range was limited within the floating island, it was more than enough to envelop the entire battlefield.

For the Deathblight Race, escaping the domain’s range would have been easy—but they were here to intercept and kill the invaders! Fleeing would mean abandoning their mission.

“Is he still weak?” At this moment, even the two elders and every King cursed inwardly.

This white-robed young cultivator had become a thorn in their side.

While the native leader, His Highness Bloodflame Ji, fought with straightforward ferocity, this white-robed youth employed far more insidious techniques. Even while maintaining his domain, he could still restrain King Fusuo.

“We can’t hold back these natives any longer.”

“This domain is crippling our full strength.”

The ten Kings besieging the natives grew desperate.

The native forces were far stronger than the intelligence had suggested! His Highness Bloodflame Ji had previously concealed his true strength to mislead the enemy and temper his clansmen. Now that the Deathblight Race had mobilized in full force, he summoned the four most powerful warriors hidden within the clan, forming four battle formations around them.

With these four battle formations and His Highness Bloodflame Ji himself, their combat power far exceeded what the intelligence had described.

Even so, the natives were still at a disadvantage, barely managing to survive as they struggled to advance toward their territory.

But now, with the emergence of the ‘Primordial Chaos Ocean,’ the two sides were evenly matched!

The natives’ advance immediately accelerated.

“Awaken the Grand Elder!” The towering Second Elder transmitted his voice urgently.

“Awaken the Grand Elder.”

“Awaken the Grand Elder.”

Since they were already close to their territory, the message reached King Qidu, who had remained behind, after just two relays.

King Qidu wasted no time and hurried to rouse the Grand Elder.

Among the three small pools surrounding the massive lake, the Grand Elder slumbered within one.

“Grand Elder, Grand Elder.” King Qidu called out repeatedly, his voice resonating within the Grand Elder’s body.

Slowly, the Grand Elder opened his eyes.

His form dissipated like mist before reforming in front of King Qidu.

The Grand Elder fixed his icy gaze upon him.

“Grand Elder,” King Qidu transmitted the details of the situation. “The enemy’s strength is as described. The Second and Third Elders led eleven Kings, including King Fusuo, to intercept them. But now they’ve ordered me to awaken you—something unexpected must have happened. Should we awaken the Emperor?”

“No. If the enemy were truly overwhelming, they wouldn’t have instructed you to wake only me. Unless it’s the final moment, do not disturb the Emperor. Otherwise, his wrath… hmph.”

“Yes, understood.” King Qidu bowed hastily.

The Grand Elder gave him one last cold glance before dissolving into mist and vanishing.

Only then did King Qidu exhale in relief.

The Grand Elder…

If the Second and Third Elders were still at the King level—albeit at its peak—the Grand Elder had already transcended it, reaching a higher realm!

His strength likely surpassed the combined might of ten Kings.

The natives fought the ten Kings to a standstill, pressing forward toward their territory as they clashed, now nearing their destination.

“Almost there. We’re almost there.”

The natives were filled with exhilaration. This was their desperate gamble—if they failed, the chances of turning the tide would be slim to none. The entire Bloodflame Clan might face annihilation. Fortunately, during their training outside, they had encountered a group of cultivators—one strong enough to tip the scales.

Whoosh.

The Swordmaster, Dongbo Xueying, and the Insect Ancestor had it easier.

The Swordmaster’s prowess was unparalleled. With a single blade, he held off the two elders while occasionally striking at King Fusuo, leaving her frustrated. After all, the white-robed youth maneuvering the crimson Voidfire Lotus was already troublesome enough—now she had to contend with sneak attacks from an even more formidable swordsman.

“Hmph.” A cold snort suddenly echoed, plunging the world into freezing temperatures. Frost spread across the ground, and every member of Dongbo Xueying’s group felt a chill seep into their hearts—a deathly cold invading their bodies.

A figure appeared midair.

It was a black-robed elder, hands clasped behind his back, his hair loose as he glared coldly at the assembled forces. Abruptly, he opened his mouth and exhaled a billowing black mist—

The world twisted.

Darkness swallowed everything. Even Dongbo Xueying’s Primordial Chaos Ocean began to crumble under the endless void.

“Rend.”

For the first time in the battle, the Swordmaster unleashed his full power. A brilliant sword-light tore through the infinite darkness, followed by successive slashes that finally shattered the blackened world.

Yet, as the darkness dispersed, countless shadowy tendrils surged forth, coiling madly around the Swordmaster.

“I’ll hold him off.” The Swordmaster felt the pressure. This was akin to facing the likes of Emperor Xia or the Undying Netherlord. Fortunately, while the Grand Elder’s techniques were devastating, they were still crude. The Swordmaster could barely manage to entangle him. If it were truly Emperor Xia or the Undying Netherlord—whose overwhelming might and sophistication would surpass his own—he wouldn’t stand a chance.

Against the Grand Elder, the Swordmaster could only delay!

“The Grand Elder is this powerful?” The Insect Ancestor was stunned.

“Hmph.” The Second Elder, Third Elder, and the other eleven Kings, however, were elated and brimming with confidence.

“Abandon these two cultivators. Focus on killing the natives first, then deal with them later,” the Second and Third Elders commanded.

“Yes.”

The two elders and King Fusuo turned their assault toward the natives, joining the other ten Kings in a united offensive.

Dongbo Xueying and the Insect Ancestor grew frantic.

The Insect Ancestor was helpless—his survival skills and esoteric methods were formidable, but his combat strength was lacking.

The native warriors had been holding back ten Kings. If they fell, all the Kings would turn their combined might against Dongbo Xueying—and he knew he couldn’t withstand that.

“Xueying, protect them!” The Swordmaster, straining to hold back the Grand Elder, transmitted urgently.

“Brother Feixue, it’s up to your trump card now,” the Insect Ancestor added.

“Very well.”

There was no other choice.

Standing atop the Voidfire Lotus, Dongbo Xueying’s eyes flashed with cold light.

Boom—

A terrifying ripple instantly engulfed the battlefield.

The two elders and eleven Kings assaulting the natives shuddered violently. Eight of the Kings plummeted from the sky, unconscious.

The remaining two elders and three Kings wore expressions of agony and terror. With the last vestiges of their awareness, they—

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

—activated teleportation and vanished.

In an instant, only the Grand Elder remained. The once-overpowering figure now seethed with rage, his strength plummeting to half its peak.

The Swordmaster and the Insect Ancestor stared at Dongbo Xueying in disbelief.

The trump card had worked this well?

A single move had swept the battlefield clean!
