Chapter 1107: Ultimate Reunion

The slender, green-robed Realm Ancestor stretched his massive hands downward. With a whoosh, his arms expanded like two celestial pillars, descending upon the world below.

The white-haired Sword Master drew his blade, while the golden-robed Blade Emperor beside him unleashed a dazzling arc of sword light.

Sword light spanned billions of miles, descending upon the Ancient Sacred Realm.

The blade light was even more domineering!

Meanwhile, the Witch Ancestor, his body entwined with chains, gathered his power. A colossal formation, vast enough to blot out the sky, manifested above the Ancient Sacred Realm…

“Damn it,” the Sacred Master’s expression darkened at the sight.

The Sword Master and Blade Emperor were both peerless in combat. Due to their cultivation paths, though their defensive abilities were weaker, their offensive power was terrifying—approaching the third level of a Cosmic God.

The Witch Ancestor was versatile, excelling in domains, restraints, direct combat, avatars… His myriad techniques, combined with others, could even give the Sacred Master a headache.

Though the Realm Ancestor hadn’t achieved the pinnacle of intangibility, he had been trained by Old Man Stone, making his physical body incredibly resilient. To kill him, the Sacred Master would have to resort to the same technique he used to severely wound Old Man Stone—burning his Ancient Sacred avatar, exhausting all its power into a single devastating strike. But first, he rarely let his Ancient Sacred avatar leave the Ancient Sacred Realm. Second, he didn’t want to provoke Old Man Stone. And third, a trump card was only effective if unused—once deployed, it lost its deterrent power. Like now, facing this elusive expert he desperately wanted to capture, who had already infiltrated the Ancient Sacred Realm, he found his accumulated power from the Ancient Sacred avatar depleted.

“If I had known, I wouldn’t have pushed Dongbo Xueying so hard,” the Sacred Master thought bitterly. “The losses from clashing with Old Man Stone were too great.”

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Dongbo Xueying’s three avatars continued fleeing.

The Sacred Master remained fixated on pursuing one.

Above, the Realm Ancestor and the others launched their attacks, but due to the vast distance, it would take time for them to land.

“Hmm?” Dongbo Xueying suddenly brightened as he sensed the spatial pressure around him vanish completely. A vast force repelled and suppressed the world energy of the Ancient Sacred Realm.

“A domain! The Witch Ancestor’s domain!” Dongbo Xueying rejoiced.

Though the Witch Ancestor’s technique seemed slow to activate, once the formation was complete, it instantly enveloped the area below, spanning billions of miles—far faster than the descending sword light, blade light, or the Realm Ancestor’s arms.

Most importantly, the Ancient Sacred Realm’s world energy was completely pushed back.

“Space can be twisted now.” Dongbo Xueying grinned. Though the Sacred Master’s mastery over the void was inferior to his, it was still profound enough to freeze space and prevent teleportation. But at Dongbo Xueying’s level, “void domain twisting” was equivalent to short-range teleportation—no need for Boundary Transcendence. Manipulating the twisted void within the Witch Ancestor’s formation domain, where even the supreme laws were repelled, he effortlessly twisted space and appeared beside the Realm Ancestor and Witch Ancestor.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

All three avatars escaped to the edge of the Ancient Sacred Realm.

The Sacred Master halted, watching in frustration. “Not Boundary Transcendence, but directly twisting space despite the frozen void? This mysterious expert’s void mastery is truly exceptional.”

The ‘Crimson Cloud Domain’ was the core technique of the Crimson Cloud Battle Art. The Crimson Cloud Sovereign had excelled in group combat precisely because of this domain.

Reaching a certain realm didn’t guarantee the ability to execute certain techniques.

For example, even if a first-level Cosmic God of the Void Path comprehended all nine branches, creating something like the ‘Five-Phase Sealing Art’ would still be difficult. Inventing something like ‘Hunyuan Inquiry’? A joke! Realm represented foundation, while many secret arts were applications. Some Chaos Realm cultivators could use avatar techniques, like the Crimson-Browed Mountain Lord. Yet, figures like the Sacred Master couldn’t.

The Sacred Master’s void path attainment only reached the Chaos Realm’s peak—inferior to Dongbo Xueying, the Void Ancestor, Gu Qi, or the Ninecloud Emperor. Creating an avatar technique? Far from easy.

“Brother Dongbo?” the Witch Ancestor transmitted.

“Xueying?” The Sword Master also looked at Dongbo Xueying.

“It’s me,” Dongbo Xueying replied openly, no longer concealing himself.

The Witch Ancestor, Sword Master, Blade Emperor, and Realm Ancestor all smiled.

“Let’s go.”

After delivering a parting strike to the Sacred Master, the group departed gracefully, using a Boundary Transcendence channel opened by the Void Ancestor on the other side.

In a grand hall within Blade Emperor City, Dongbo Xueying, the Realm Ancestor, Witch Ancestor, Sword Master, and Blade Emperor emerged from a twisting spatial vortex. On the other side stood the Void Ancestor and Skyfate Patriarch.

“Xueying?” Skyfate Patriarch studied Dongbo Xueying.

Dongbo Xueying removed his mask, revealing his face with a faint smile.

“Can you still manifest the Flower of Destruction?” Skyfate Patriarch asked. The others watched intently.

Dongbo Xueying extended a hand. Within the illusory world, a nine-petaled flower condensed, transitioning from the intangible to reality. This nine-layered technique, merging the mysteries of the Illusory Path and Slaughter Path, reappeared.

At the sight of the flower, everyone smiled.

Truthfully, based on prior clues, they were already over 90% certain. Creating a ninth-level Chaos Realm technique was inherently difficult, and the ‘Nine-Petal Flower’ fused two paths—something only its creator, Dongbo Xueying, could achieve.

“Xueying, you’ve truly returned,” Skyfate Patriarch said warmly.

“This is wonderful,” the Blade Emperor sighed. “Though I’d heard of the Heartworld Token’s marvels, after your soul scattered, we still doubted you could come back.”

“What exactly is so miraculous about the Heartworld Token?” the Witch Ancestor couldn’t help asking. “Your breakthrough to Cosmic God isn’t surprising, but now you possess spatial isolation, intangibility mastery, avatar techniques, and such a formidable physical body—have you also cultivated body refinement?”

Dongbo Xueying explained, “The Heartworld Token is extraordinary. It allowed a wisp of my true spirit to reincarnate into another source world—and even return home.”

“Another source world?”

“Really?”

The Witch Ancestor and the others were both awed and intrigued.

“I learned some techniques there,” Dongbo Xueying continued. “Unfortunately, many methods from the Heartworld Continent have restrictions. Learning them is hard enough; spreading them is even harder. But I still have an avatar in the Heartworld Continent. If I acquire techniques that can be shared, I’ll pass them on.”

Facing the impending destruction of the Chaos Void, he wouldn’t hesitate to share with the Sword Master, Witch Ancestor, Blade Emperor, and others.

“Sadly, the Heartworld Token is fated. Without the right affinity, it remains unseen even if right before you,” the Blade Emperor mused, having learned this from his master, City Lord Luo.

Deep underground in a quiet chamber within a cave abode, Dongbo Yu sat cross-legged, a massive, intricate formation floating before him, constantly shifting and evolving.

His father, Dongbo Xueying, had been slain by the Sacred Master; his mother, imprisoned in the Ancient Sacred Realm. This fueled Dongbo Yu’s desperate thirst for strength. Though the Witch Ancestor had aided him diligently, Dongbo Yu remained at the Unity Realm, far from even the fifth layer. Saving his mother? Avenging his father? Even his master, the Witch Ancestor, lacked confidence in rescuing her.

Though he trained relentlessly, despair and uncertainty gnawed at Dongbo Yu’s heart.

“I am Dongbo Xueying’s son.”

“I cannot shame my father. His cultivation conditions were worse than mine. If he had lived, becoming a Cosmic God wouldn’t have been difficult. I can do it too—I must.” His determination burned fiercely, though the Witch Ancestor privately shook his head. Dongbo Yu’s mental state hadn’t even reached the third level; his chances of attaining the Chaos Realm were slim.

Suddenly—

“Yu’er, come to Blade Emperor City,” the Witch Ancestor’s voice echoed in Dongbo Yu’s mind.

“Yes.”

Dongbo Yu ceased his cultivation.

“Blade Emperor City?” Puzzled, he emerged from seclusion. The Witch Ancestor had already arranged for subordinates to teleport him there.

Moments later.

“Sister?”

“Brother?”

Dongbo Yu and Dongbo Qingyao met outside the gates of Canghu Palace, one of the Blade Emperor’s guest residences.

The gates swung open.

“Please, come in,” a servant guided them.

“My master summoned me,” Dongbo Qingyao said. “And you?”

“Same,” Dongbo Yu replied, perplexed.

“Strange. Why couldn’t he just tell us directly?” Qingyao transmitted to her brother as they followed the servant through the palace. Soon, they arrived at a lakeside where low tables were arranged.

Cosmic Gods sat in small groups—the Witch Ancestor, Realm Ancestor, Mountain Ancestor, Cloud Serpent Emperor, Radiant Sovereign, and others. Among them, a white-robed youth and a light-blue-clad woman, like an immortal couple, conversed with the others. Dongbo Xueying smiled as he spoke, occasionally exchanging words with Yu Jingqiu beside him, who listened with a gentle smile.

Suddenly, both turned to look at the approaching figures.

Dongbo Yu and Dongbo Qingyao froze, staring at the white-robed youth and light-blue-clad woman in the distance.

“Father.”

“Mother.”

Tears welled in their eyes as they stood motionless, overwhelmed.
