Chapter 612: Sovereign of All Under Heaven

The wind howled from all directions. A Monarch had perished within the capital of the Shi Kingdom, causing a tremendous upheaval that shook all Sifang.

In this godless era, when Monarchs were rare, such an individual represented the peak of martial strength. Yet, someone had dragged this figure down from the clouds, an event so shocking that it stunned the entire world.

Who could it be? No one could even begin to guess.

Only someone capable of wielding the divine techniques of the Ten Ancient Beasts of Primordial Chaos and achieving such profound mastery might be the culprit. Perhaps only one person fit this description—Little Stone. Yet he was immediately dismissed because the entire world believed him to be dead.

“It’s already been over a year since Little Stone vanished from our sight.”

Looking back, countless people felt lost and empty.

Because of this turbulent event, people inevitably thought of him. They felt deep regret, as though witnessing the most dazzling celestial blossom wither and fade, leaving only broken fragments and lingering heartache.

“If Shi Hao were still alive, what would become of him? I’m sure many would feel uneasy, especially the great sects.”

Even after Shi Hao’s death, his name remained. Stories of him resurfaced. All of this was due to that eerily familiar Kunpeng Art.

The expressions of many young cultivators turned complex. Shi Hao loomed like an immense mountain over their hearts. In his generation, none could rival him. And now, even after being dead for over a year, he still stirred such immense influence.

The younger generation, however, felt a sense of yearning. Their elders and senior apprentices often spoke of that legendary figure, recounting his past glories.

The outside world buzzed with speculation and murmurs.

Inside the royal palace of the Shi Kingdom, Shi Hao sat in meditation, exuding an aura of sacred majesty. Around him, ten divine caves simultaneously opened, radiating an immortal essence. Their light merged into a continuous glow.

“Heavens! These are the Ten Divine Caves of the Emperor!” Exclaimed several palace guards in awe, their voices filled with excitement and astonishment. This was the first time they had ever witnessed Shi Hao’s display of power.

Even Zhan Wang and Peng Jiu were stunned and could not help but sigh. Shi Hao’s current achievements were no accident. He had reached the apex of each cultivation stage. His might was terrifying.

There were ten divine caves, all radiating brilliance. Each was vaster and more expansive than those of ordinary cultivators. Together, they formed an immortal divine disk that enveloped him.

Seated in meditation, Shi Hao exuded divinity and majesty. Within each cave, figures such as Kunpeng, Suanni, Zhuque, and others floated and shifted. With a single cry from Shi Hao, these beings surged outward.

With a tremendous roar, a massive explosion erupted from the royal palace. A terrifying aura soared into the heavens. He was releasing his spiritual forms, allowing them to emerge from the caves.

“Your Majesty, be cautious! Although these spiritual forms are mighty, dispatching them to different regions separately carries risks,” cautioned Peng Jiu.

The Ming King nodded in agreement. “The great sects have stood firm from ancient times till now for a reason. Your Majesty must be careful.”

They were deeply concerned. If only spiritual forms were sent, it remained uncertain whether the enemy might deploy divine artifacts powered by True Gods or activate ancient formations from times past. Single spiritual forms might encounter danger, causing damage to the original body.

Shi Hao nodded and said, “I understand. These spiritual forms are merely meant to locate those Monarchs and prevent their escape. I won’t act recklessly.”

“That’s good!” nodded the elder kings in agreement.

Within the celestial palace, a Kunpeng gazed with arrogance in all directions. It shrunk to the size of a foot, then transformed into a beam of divine light. It ascended upon the ancestral altar and flew toward the Northern Sea!

From the consciousness sea of that Monarch, Shi Hao had discovered the involvement of two major aquatic forces in this event—one was the Grey Dragon Monarch, and the other was the Sea Demon Monarch.

These two formidable foes had old grudges with Shi Hao. Notably, the Grey Dragon Monarch had attempted to kill him multiple times during the battle at the Kunpeng’s Nest in the Northern Sea, only to lose one of his spiritual forms in return.

A Kunpeng flying straight toward the Northern Sea—its sole purpose was these two adversaries.

Next, a purple-gold Suanni roared mightily, lightning crackling around it. Initially enormous, its body shimmered with dazzling divine patterns, but now it rapidly shrank to less than a meter tall. It ascended the ancestral altar and departed toward the Small Western Heaven!

Shi Hao had not expected this sect to dare act against the Shi Kingdom. Such audacity could not go unpunished!

He bore no goodwill toward the Small Western Heaven. Even in his early days, before stepping beyond the great wilderness, while still in the Stone Village, he had encountered remnants of bandits affiliated with this sect.

These individuals slaughtered many tribes in the wilderness in search of the Supreme Divine Treasure, their hands stained with blood. Shi Hao had personally eliminated them and executed a golden Sacrificial Spirit—a pangolin.

“So the Small Western Heaven dares act too! Truly detestable!” remarked Zhan Wang. Fortunately, Shi Hao had discovered their treachery early; otherwise, they might have remained unaware of this faction’s involvement.

“They maintain an extremely close relationship with the Western Sect, sharing the same ancient origin. This time, they undoubtedly joined the plot at the Western Sect’s instigation,” added Peng Jiu.

“Buzz!”

A Zhuque spread its wings, radiating a brilliant crimson, departing from the ancestral altar toward the Western Sect.

Then, a humanoid spiritual form appeared, wielding a black broken sword, heading toward the Immortality Mountain!

Shortly after, a True Feng emerged, its wings shimmering with vibrant hues. With a proud cry, it departed from the altar, soaring toward the Restoration Sect.

One after another, Shi Hao’s spiritual forms set forth, aiming to pinpoint those Monarchs of the great sects and prevent them from gaining news and fleeing early. Should these figures escape, they would surely become future threats.

He had resolved firmly to confront those sects, unwilling to allow these instigators to escape. He would wipe them all out!

The gathered cultivators were spellbound as Shi Hao deployed multiple spiritual forms, each radiating immense might. He was about to engage in decisive actions, heralding an impending storm!

On this day, several sects received bone-scrolls from the frontlines, filling them with confusion and uncertainty.

“A Monarch was actually slain. What exactly happened?”

More difficult to fathom was that the Shi Kingdom had turned the tables, threatening them directly and demanding they surrender their sacred treasures, branding them as inauspicious. Failure to comply would bring upon them bloody calamities.

This could not be tolerated. The threats they had imposed were returned upon them, even intensified!

“Who exactly is that person? The Restoration Sect and the Small Western Heaven each had a Monarch present in the Shi Kingdom. We should let them investigate thoroughly!”

Within the Shi Kingdom, in a mountain range, a temporary cave dwelling had been established. Inside, two beings meditated, their bodies shrouded in a vague luminescence, appearing like deities exuding formidable auras.

One was entirely white and jade-like. Though it possessed a humanoid form, its nose was long and it bore a pair of luminous ivory tusks—it was the White Jade Longxiang from the Small Western Heaven.

This creature served as the protective divine beast of the sect!

The other individual was a human—crimson-faced with white hair—sitting in meditation. With each breath, dragon-shaped vaporous pillars spiraled from his mouth and nose, undeniably marking him as a formidable expert.

Were Shi Hao to see this figure, he would recognize him immediately. After his fateful battle with Da Shi within the Virtual Divine Realm, this individual and the Flower-Picking Old Lady had once teamed up to kill him. He was one of the Restoration Sect’s Monarchs.

Back then, he wielded a strange and terrifying curse ability, almost causing Shi Hao to fall into a deadly trap.

“Let’s go; we shall go investigate whoever dares to appear among the Shi Clan.” They ceased their meditation, rising and heading toward the Shi Kingdom’s capital.

Still some distance away from the towering capital city, the two halted. The elder from the Restoration Sect sneered coldly. “We won’t risk entering. We’ll stay outside and teach them a bloody lesson!”

He decided to unleash his curse technique, aiming to eliminate some of Shi Kingdom’s key figures and plunge the capital into chaos. Such an attack would be impossible to prevent. His sharp white teeth gleamed as his lips curled into an expression of mercilessness.

“Just now arriving, are we?” A cold voice spoke suddenly, causing both Monarchs to freeze instantly, their bodies shivering, as the voice was uncannily clear and echoed within their very minds.

Yet, they remained at a considerable distance from the Shi capital! How could they have been discovered so quickly? Unbelievable!

“What is this…?”

A beam of light swept over their location from the Shi Palace, rendering them completely exposed. It was an eye, capable of piercing across all directions—an Eye of Heaven that Shi Hao controlled.

“I shall kill you both and then set forth to visit each sect,” murmured Shi Hao. He stepped out from the palace, striding across the void toward the heavens.

Having already slain a Monarch, he knew precisely who plotted against the Shi Clan. He was fully aware of the two Monarchs lingering in the Shi Kingdom, having awaited them for quite some time.

These words rang clearly across the entire Shi Kingdom, shaking many cultivators.

“Who is that person?!” countless eyes caught sight of a hazy silhouette, wrapped in layers of radiant mist, seemingly young, yet hovering above the skies.

The next instant, the Restoration Sect and the Small Western Heaven Monarchs froze in terror. They recognized Shi Hao’s true face and screamed out in horror, as if encountering a ghost!

“How can this be? You… you were alive!” They trembled from head to toe at the sight of Shi Hao’s physical form. This revelation was too shocking!

A person universally known as deceased had returned!

“Escape!”

They had no intention of lingering and turned to flee. The reappearance of Xiao Shi terrified them beyond words. They had no will to battle—only a desperate desire to run far away.

“Chi!”

Shi Hao moved with astonishing speed. His Kunpeng wings unfolded, radiating boundless divine might, granting him unparalleled velocity. Instantly, he blocked their escape route!

At the same time, Zhan Wang, Ming Wang, and Peng Wang emerged, accompanied by guards ascending to the sky, forming an imposing force.

“Who is that person?” many within the Shi capital gazed at that luminous silhouette filled with misty light, vaguely familiar.

“Kill!” The two Monarchs roared, desperately trying to break through.

Shi Hao flapped his wings. With a deafening boom, the primal forces of Yin and Yang surged forth like a vast ocean, instantly striking them and causing blood to spew from their mouths.

In an instant, the battle erupted—intense and overwhelming, shaking the heavens and earth.

“Crack!”

The first blow was struck. The White Jade Longxiang cried out in agony as its pair of white, crystalline tusks were severed and fell into Shi Hao’s grasp. He tossed them to Ming Wang and the others.

“How… can you still be alive?” the White Jade Longxiang cried in anguish.

“Stone Emperor… how have you returned from death?” The Restoration Sect Monarch’s heart quivered. He truly could not comprehend how a dead man had returned.

The moment these words were spoken, the entire Shi capital trembled. The news was too shocking, defying belief!

“You wish to use curses? You’re not the one to do it!” Shi Hao coldly declared. With a wave of his hand, torrents of lightning surged forth like a sea, obliterating every trace of the curse energy.

“Ahh!” the Restoration Sect Monarch screamed as half his body turned blackened and charred.

There was no suspense in this battle. First, the White Jade Longxiang was slain. Then, the Restoration Sect Monarch’s head rolled to the ground, his blood flowing freely. Both Monarchs were slain.

“Is this real?!” Chaos erupted within the Shi capital. The return of Xiao Shi shocked everyone. It felt like a myth, beyond comprehension.

The news spread rapidly across the entire Shi Kingdom and swiftly reached beyond its borders.

At the same time, reports arrived from distant regions. Someone was attacking several sects, wielding figures like Suanni, Zhuque, and True Feng. Even at sea, Kunpeng descended, pursuing the Grey Dragon Monarch.

The world erupted in shock. What was happening?

“I understand now! Perhaps Xiao Shi truly returned to life. The Suanni, Zhuque, Kunpeng—these must be his spiritual forms!” someone said, suddenly enlightened, stunned beyond measure.

“But what about the True Feng? I’ve never heard of him cultivating such a treasure art.”

“This proves one thing—the rumors of him capturing the Moon Grace Goddess must be true. He must have obtained this incomplete treasure art from her.”

On that day, the world trembled. People found it hard to believe yet couldn’t help suspecting—could it really be Shi Hao returning alive?

It was too shocking. The entire world gasped in awe!

A young Supreme who had died over a year ago had now returned to the world. No event could be more bizarre or more shocking to all existence.

“Could it really be Xiao Shi? Heavens, what has happened? He’s returned alive!”

“Incredible! In a single day, he deployed multiple spiritual forms, launching attacks on several immortal sects simultaneously. How awe-inspiring!”

“He’s truly ruling the world alone. A single individual choosing to confront several great sects, all in a single day!”

In the midst of doubt and widespread discussion, the entire world boiled with unrest.

At the same time, Shi Hao’s true self had already set forth, ready to visit each sect in turn, ready to seize dominion over the entire world!
