Chapter 530: Battle Under the Moon Goddess

Within the clouds, starlight was obstructed as meteorites rained ceaselessly.

A hazy figure shimmered with radiant glow, trembling as if forcefully cast from the celestial realm, her icy composure and transcendent aura shattered.

In an instant, Fairy Light (immortal radiance) surged from her body, transforming into a dazzling galaxy surrounding her, releasing immense power. Countless glyphs swirled, enveloping her form.

At this moment, she severed all connections below, rendering herself impervious to worldly influences. Her divine consciousness turned inward, seeking her true self, chanting immortal sutras to pacify her disturbed soul.

That scorching experience was unbearable, conflicting with her pure nature and ethereal essence. To her, those fleeting moments felt like traversing hell.

She was an exiled immortal, lofty and untouchable, never meant to endure such turmoil. Yet, this unimaginable encounter had shaken the foundation of her Dao cultivation.

Her white robes billowed, radiant glyphs glowing, she stood at the center of heaven and earth, above the clouds, a true fury emerging. Whoever dared to defile her deserved no mercy!

After calming herself and regaining composure, she peered downward. The young man was smiling at her, embracing Yue Chan intimately—a blatant provocation.

Before the majestic heavenly palace below, the two stood close, gazing into the heavens. The youth’s teeth sparkled, as if savoring a lingering fragrance, his smile dazzling and brimming with unspoken implications.

Above the clouds, the beautiful silhouette of the true Yue Chan grew colder. Pure brilliance radiated outward, making her appear almost ethereal, as if merging with the Dao, coexisting with immortals.

Upon closer inspection, however, one could discern minute ripples of divine fury within her pupils—an anger of the exiled immortal. No shouts, no curses, just a mighty fluctuation expanding outward.

“Chi!”

Finally, she lifted her hand. Around her, stars emerged in abundance, then aligned into a line, following her fingertip toward the palace below.

Meteorites fell like rain, one beam especially brilliant—an amalgamation of dozens upon dozens of concentrated stars, forming a luminous ray following the same path, hurtling downward to strike Shi Hao!

This was a terrifying technique. With a mere gesture from the heavenly woman, starlight condensed, and the meteorites formed lines, concentrating their force into a bombardment whose power was beyond estimation.

The meteors bloomed like flowers!

A dazzling brilliance erupted. Instantly, the palace trembled violently, like a tsunami striking the shore, with every hall glowing and resounding in response.

Ancient array inscriptions burned into the Void (void), protecting this palace complex tracing its origins to antiquity. Powerful symbols shone, resisting the celestial meteor assault.

A continuous series of “pops” echoed as many falling stars collided with the formation, shattering in turn. Streaks of light flashed, both dazzling and shocking, accompanied by terrifying fluctuations.

Within a moment, twenty or thirty meteors struck the same heavenly palace, all impacting the same glyph repeatedly, generating unimaginable pressure.

A crackling sound rang out—the formation split open, revealing a fissure. Following through at tremendous speed, the aligned meteorites surged forward, aiming to penetrate the great formation and obliterate the young man below.

This was the fury of the immortal girl above the clouds. Though silent and expressionless, her effective actions were more terrifying than mere words.

Shi Hao’s expression turned grave. Embracing Yue Chan, he leapt onto a high terrace, gazing upward. With a resonant clang, he unsheathed his golden divine sword, pointing it toward the heavens.

In an instant, the palace’s dragon energy surged, converging into his arm, transforming into boundless mysterious force like an endless ocean.

The war sword in Shi Hao’s hand seemed like a blazing sun, its radiance blazing fiercely. Then with a Boom (boom), it released a thick beam of light shooting skyward.

Meteor after meteor was pierced by the sword beam, exploding mid-air. Infinite shards rained down like dust.

Twelve consecutive falling stars, though emitting endless brilliance, were all cut down mid-descent and exploded mid-sky.

Meanwhile, the great formation rumbled, sealing itself automatically, the prior breach vanishing. Additionally, above Shi Hao’s head, a sacred seal emerged, glowing with glyphs, controlling the entire palace, activating several layers of divine arrays, guarding the sacred ground.

Sword in hand, Shi Hao pointed toward the southern sky, the sword tip aimed directly at the holy silhouette within the clouds, its sharp edge exuding an unparalleled aura.

“Chi!”

A sword beam flew forth, ascending against the heavens. Transforming into a dragon-shaped energy column, it shattered a few falling stars, rushing straight toward the true Yue Chan, brimming with killing intent.

Above her crystalline form, a secret treasure emitted a glow, enhancing her aura. She herself remained composed, extending a finger—crystalline and translucent like jade—striking the sword beam.

With a “bo” sound, the sword energy exploded in the void, blooming like beautiful yet fleeting fireworks.

She gazed down, divine light undulating within her pupils.

Meanwhile, Shi Hao too pointed his sword at the sky. It was a silent confrontation. Though separated by vast distances, both sensed the piercing killing intent of the other.

“Hao’er, are you alright?” Figures flickered—Shi Zi Ling and his wife arrived.

“I am fine,” Shi Hao nodded solemnly. Continuing this way was unsustainable. For a sovereign palace to be attacked like this without retaliation was unacceptable.

Seeing the scene, Qin Yi Ning waved her hand toward the sky, condensing her divine consciousness into a beam, transmitting her voice: “Daughter-in-law, behave appropriately.”

“You evil high priestess!” Within the palace, the younger Yue Chan reacted first, filled with resentment toward her.

“If only the little pagoda were here,” Shi Hao frowned. Though only an inch tall, the little pagoda had tremendous deterrence. Yet after pursuing the sorceress, it had vanished without return.

It had disappeared for more than a day and still hadn’t returned.

Shi Hao trembled. Suddenly, he realized his excessive reliance on the little pagoda. Once aware of its might, his sense of pressure and urgency had diminished.

An enemy approached from the outside, yet at this moment, Shi Hao felt a mental fluctuation, his mind wandering—an absolutely critical problem. Recently depending too much on external forces caused his inner self to lack that drive to strive forward.

Especially knowing that Liu Shen would enter the Primordial Gate deep within the Chaos Sea, and the little pagoda might also depart—it was very grim indeed. Possibly, even dire. If they all vanished, could he adapt?

“I cannot rely on such crutches. Depending constantly on external forces weakens the sense of crisis. I must grow stronger. To exist in this world, ultimately I must establish my own path.”

Attacked unexpectedly with the little pagoda absent, this sudden alertness reminded Shi Hao of this serious issue.

Radiance shimmered in Shi Hao’s eyes, the essence of life and death swirling. He studied carefully, evaluating the true Yue Chan’s combat power—she was undoubtedly formidable.

“Even stronger than you?” He glanced at the beauty beside him.

Yue Chan lightly huffed. Compared to her current vibrant vitality, the true one above remained truly aloof and near-immortal. That saintliness and haughtiness was innate, as if she did not belong to this world, her Dao core unshaken.

Shi Hao sensed that the true form was mighty, especially with her sacred treasure and power to summon meteors, seemingly invincible.

“Hao’er, where are you going?” Shi Zi Ling was startled, noticing Shi Hao preparing to ascend toward the sky to confront her.

“Father, please be at ease; I know what I am doing!” Shi Hao replied. Summoning Peng Jiu, he entrusted him with controlling the palace arrays before ascending skyward.

Shi Zi Ling and his wife were deeply worried, watching from below with tension. Had it not been for Peng Jiu’s persistent Discourage (persuasion), they would have already ascended after him.

As Shi Hao soared upwards, he brought Yue Chan along, carrying her on his back secured by a glowing glyph-rope, rising with him to the high skies.

Throughout the ascent, numerous meteorites rained down, but he skillfully avoided them using Kun Peng techniques, quickly positioning himself at the clouds’ edge, facing the hazy figure.

Above the clouds, countless meteorites lined up behind the beautiful silhouette. A grand formation had summoned part of these celestial rocks from the heavens, and more from Huang Domain (Wilderness Domain) mountains.

Indeed, she had come well-prepared!

Shi Hao frowned—how convenient! Just as the sorceress left and the little pagoda pursued her, the true Yue Chan appeared, and even more formidable!

“Doesn’t she look different from you?” Shi Hao asked the warm, soft woman on his back.

The secondary Yue Chan remained silent, observing her counterpart with shining eyes, both sensing a mysterious connection at the close proximity.

Shi Hao smiled faintly. Carrying her through the void, he carefully examined the figure ahead.

Above the clouds, moonlight flowed like water, illuminating the woman ahead. She appeared simple yet blurred, obviously near yet seeming as distant as the ninth heaven, exuding an ethereal aura, forever unapproachable.

She was too otherworldly—her grace and serenity did not belong to the mortal world.

“Yue Chan, are you here for the wedding celebration?” Shi Hao spoke, facing her directly with calm yet provocative words: “Celebrating your own wedding must feel uniquely fulfilling.”

The immortal girl stood tall, her voice like celestial music, soothing and melodious, as if Bathing in the Spring Breeze (basking in spring breeze), clearly stating to Shi Hao that her provocation could not shake her heart.

Shi Hao raised his sword and said, “Esteemed Immortal, your demeanor is exceptional and your magnanimity unparalleled. Since you are so detached, why not join me at the palace for a drink under the moonlight?”

Within the hazy glow, the tall, ethereal figure radiated brilliance. She smiled serenely, saying, “I have come to kill you.”

“Unfortunately, you will not succeed.”

“Can you be sure without trying? Let me cleave the heavens with my divine moon blade, affirm my Dao heart!”

Under the cold, moonlit night, a thin veil of mist surrounded her, peaceful and sacred, making her appear increasingly ethereal.

A profound sense of danger surged within Shi Hao. He knew this woman was terrifyingly powerful—her might was beyond reason.

Already donning the Indestructible Golden Body Armor, emitting a lustrous black-gold glow, the Emperor’s Sacred Seal hovered above his head, releasing dragon qi. Shi Hao’s battle intent surged!

“Chi!”

The true Yue Chan struck first, a single finger-point unleashing ten thousand sword beams, each as transparent as crystal, brimming with divine will.

Thus erupted the battle—neither exchanged excessive words; sword energy like rainbows pierced the heavens.

In an instant, they exchanged hundreds of blows, precious techniques flashing, occasionally ascending so high that even the moonlight paled, leaving only two figures becoming eternal beams of light.

Fierce combat unfolded, divine abilities erupting continuously.

“Chi!”

The two figures crossed paths as a resplendent vermilion immortal phoenix erupted from the saintly body, its wings gracefully spreading, crimson radiance dazzling, cutting through the void with matchless might.

“Hmm?!” Shi Hao dodged, but was astonished. The main purpose of this soaring phoenix—with its scarlet feathers—was to eliminate Yue Chan on his back.

Thankfully, Kun Peng techniques were peerless in speed, evading the deadly strike for the beauty behind.

“You…you dared strike me? Have you forsaken me!” Yue Chan’s fair face showed shock, both wounded and furious.

Her expression fluctuated, eventually regaining calm. She decisively crouched behind Shi Hao, softly whispering into his ear, “I’ll help you capture her!”

“Good!” Shi Hao said only that word, giving her a playful squeeze, earning a startled squeal.

So close, even the transcendent Yue Chan, striving to suppress their connection, could no longer hide the sharp sensation.

At that moment, her body stiffened, experiencing an indescribable discomfort—a further defilement. She swiftly retreated.

“Chi!”

Sword light blazed across the sky. Shi Hao surged forward, unleashing a world-shaking divine technique, sealing her fate.
