Chapter 524: The Celestial Captive

The vast sea of Lunar Chan’s consciousness was boundless, pure and luminous, without a blemish, resembling a celestial sea beneath the moonlight, radiating the luster of immortality.

Shi Hao and the Demoness sat cross-legged. This battle had lasted a long time; they inhaled and adjusted, recovering their mental energies here.

Beside them, Lunar Chan, though captured, remained as graceful and stunning as ever. Her body was pale and pure, exuding a sacred glow—each hair shimmering with light.

She appeared like a deity. Though a prisoner, her calmness never wavered; she seemed transcendent, each inch of her flesh translucent and crystalline, perfectly beautiful.

Such ethereal elegance was rare in the world. She still appeared lofty and peerless, her demeanor captivating nations, even more so as her eyes flickered with spiritual radiance. She calmly contemplated her next course of action.

“Sister, you really are composed. Now that you’re captured and your spirit sealed, you still remain so calm—are you planning a comeback?” The Demoness spoke lazily.

She was equally breathtaking but possessed a different essence—one divine and spotless, the other steeped in wickedness, her beauty seductively alluring, laced with cunning.

“Slap!”

The Demoness was mischievous, slapping Lunar Chan’s fair bottom boldly, deliberately defiling her sanctity. Laughing brightly, she said, “Sister Lunar Chan, your transcendence makes little me so jealous.”

“Demon, remove your hands; don’t vie with this Sovereign for the fairy!” Shi Hao spoke solemnly.

The Demoness was momentarily stunned, then burst into laughter, her delicate waist swaying, nearly toppling forward. “Emperor Demon, dare you challenge this humble Daoist for a nun?”

“She’s mine.” Shi Hao approached, pushing her hand away.

After a great battle, although the foe was captured, both he and the Demoness were exhausted. Her consciousness sea harbored deities beyond imagination, brimming with unfathomable potential and divine power.

If not for the Spirit-Sealing Pearl, this battle would not have ended like this!

Lunar Chan’s body radiated light—the enemy had cast countless “Order Chains” upon her. They resembled shackles, binding her tightly, impossible to break free.

Dressed in white, her body was radiant, her jet-black hair gleaming. Being bound by such divine chains was a sacrilege, yet strangely alluring and temptingly captivating.

No matter how hard she struggled, she could not escape; the chains had penetrated her soul, binding her divine abilities and stripping her of all supernatural techniques.

Moreover, the stone bead had been placed on her forehead, radiating strands of clear light that condensed into one glyph after another, sinking into her sacred body for sealing.

The bindings tightened relentlessly. She had become a beautiful imprisoned fairy.

Although this was all within the sea of consciousness, a realm manifested from souls, everything felt incredibly real—even sharper than fleshly sensations.

Lunar Chan’s expression remained calm. “Everything will be known in time,” she said to the pair and then gazed at Shi Hao like a warning. “You’re treading alongside a most dangerous being.”

The Demoness smiled faintly, exuding irresistible charm—her foxlike tail swayed, each smile blooming infinite allure. “Sister, better stop while you’re ahead. Such provocations are meaningless.”

Then she pinched Lunar Chan’s delicate face, teasingly holding her chin: “Your texture truly is delightful.”

“Let go. She’s my woman.” Shi Hao pulled Lunar Chan back, preventing the Demoness from touching her.

“Ungrateful! After all, I helped you capture her. At the very least, let her stay with me for a couple more days,” the Demoness teased with a pout.

“No way. How could I lend ‘the mother of my child’ to anyone? Don’t even think about it!” Shi Hao firmly refused, his expression righteous.

Lunar Chan had a slender, graceful figure—though saintly as an immortal, her physique was indeed quite “alluring.” Shi Hao’s hand wrapped around her slender waist, causing her to knit her brows slightly. No matter how poised, at this point she felt a little awkward.

Reflecting on the future outcome, she felt an inexplicable anxiety. Thinking of it, even her snowy skin rose with goosebumps.

“My dear sister, your exquisite body tenses—does excitement stir within you?” The Demoness giggled, her gleaming eyes darting, attempting once more to touch.

“Don’t misbehave.” Shi Hao swiftly moved out with the fairy by his side.

“Aren’t you going to subdue her as well?” The soft presence was tangible, as real as flesh, a fragrant breath brushing against Shi Hao’s ear as Lunar Chan whispered, urging him to act, to imprison the Demoness.

Shi Hao turned around; their noses were nearly touching as he calmly gazed at her.

“Hey, don’t act so freely. You two haven’t even consummated yet! Besides, whispering secretly—you plotting against me?” The Demoness, smiling but not smiling, watched Lunar Chan and said, “Sister, everything you do is in vain.”

Beyond the Golden Gate, Lunar Chan was more resolute and composed than her usual self. Even in this predicament, she remained calm.

“I possess a secret technique—I can try one last time to imprison her.” Lunar Chan stood but an inch from Shi Hao, their faces nearly touching. Her breath was fragrant; her lips, red and alluring.

“Beware of her reversal!” The Demoness timely warned.

“If you don’t act now, you’ll be in great danger. She might use the Spirit-Sealing Pearl to bind you too—then it’ll be too late to regret,” Lunar Chan whispered.

Shi Hao’s expression remained serene. Indeed, sharp women were headaches. Both females were difficult to handle—even though one was a prisoner, and the other an ally, neither was truly trustworthy.

“It’s time to call it quits. Sister, abandon your evil thoughts,” the Demoness said with a gesture. A mysterious beam shot forth, while the Spirit-Sealing Pearl whirled, emitting countless glyphs.

These misty, eerie runes sank into Lunar Chan’s body, causing her elegant frame to tremble, knowing that it was finally too late—freedom was now impossible.

At this moment, she looked at Shi Hao; her beautiful eyes flickered. Would she indeed fall into his hands? And how might she contend with the Demoness?

“End it!” The Demoness said cheerfully, her hair fluttering, exuding confidence and charm.

“Are you sure she’s completely subdued?” Shi Hao sent his mental voice.

“Rest assured. Everything is under control,” the Demoness answered.

Shi Hao gazed at the stone bead on Lunar Chan’s brow. His headpiece gleamed, emitting more dragon qi, like a rain curtain enveloping him.

This bead was so mysterious and powerful. If used against him, it posed an immense threat.

“Hehehe…” The Demoness laughed. “Boy, how about giving me a chance to try something?”

“Also intend to strike at me?” His treasured talisman on his head was warm, the aura of imperial fortune cloaking him, increasingly unfathomable.

The Demoness’s eyes were as painted as an artwork—increasingly alluring. “My stone bead is a true ancient supreme treasure, not some imitation. It can subdue the heavens.”

Shi Hao remained silent, gazing at her calmly.

The Demoness’s eyes sparkled with unusual light, as if deliberating or just frightening Shi Hao. “What do you think I should do?”

“Whatever you like,” Shi Hao replied.

“Tsk tsk, really a headache.” The Demoness gently stroked her fair brow, seeming hesitant. Her eyes darting, finally gathering her hair, she declared, “Forget it—I’ll just initiate the boy-rearing plan.”

Lunar Chan’s lips parted slightly, whispering into Shi Hao’s ear: “She isn’t bluffing nor jesting. Moments ago she nearly attacked, merely hesitating—she’s sharp, never taking reckless actions.”

Shi Hao’s expression remained calm, though he stood on alert. Whether it was the Fairy of the Sky-Filling Sect or the Demoness of the Intercepting Heaven Sect, he took them both seriously, without the slightest carelessness.

“Suddenly I feel that a wife should perhaps be simpler, more innocent. Having a woman full of schemes constantly around me is quite the burden,” Shi Hao remarked.

“A capable woman shall aid you immensely in the future. Naturally, the question is how capable you are. Taming the Fairy Lunar Chan shall prove a formidable task,” the Demoness smiled brightly. “As for myself, forget about it—your type just doesn’t suit me.”

“Type?” Shi Hao was momentarily stunned. That last sentence from the Demoness was indeed bold, yet perfectly matched her nature.

Suddenly, the stone bead vibrated, releasing a mighty suction force—Shi Hao was startled, feeling uneasy.

Lunar Chan’s exquisite body trembled. Her forehead glowed, emitting spiritual energy that transformed into a “Way Blossom,” only to be severed by the stone bead, absorbed into its core.

Again, another wave of spiritual essence surged forth from her brow, blooming once more into a Way Blossom—again, the bead severed and consumed it.

Finally, after absorbing the third surge, the stone bead spun around, reverted to its ancient, rugged state, and flew back into the Demoness’s palm.

“You demoness have severed my trinity blossoms and looted my spiritual fruit,” Lunar Chan declared coldly, her tone calm yet laced with bitterness.

The Demoness held the bead, examining its energies. Suddenly her brows knitted. “Lunar Chan, you truly are remarkable—maintaining vigilance even under such circumstances.”

She nodded to Shi Hao, and together they exited this pure yet mighty consciousness realm.

In an instant, specks of radiance shimmered; Shi Hao and the Demoness’s souls soared out, swiftly returning to their bodies. Both rose from the ground.

At the same time, Lunar Chan opened her eyes. This time, her soul was sealed—she had truly lost her last card, no genuine trick left.

“Did you obtain the ultimate mystery of Sky-Mending Sect?” Shi Hao asked.

“No!” The Demoness shook her head in frustration, her eyes blazing as she glared at Lunar Chan. “You truly are decisive in self-binding your seal.”

“You clearly obtained my Dao’s fruit, obtaining everything you desired—now acting indignant, don’t want Shi Hao to learn?” Lunar Chan retorted.

“Nonsense! You formed a divine seal within yourself; the bead did not sever any mysteries,” the Demoness’s expression darkened, for the first time exuding killing intent, threatening, “Don’t think I won’t dare slay you.”

Shi Hao stroked his chin. “I wish to explore the Sky-Mending Art, and transformations of True Dragon and Celestial Phoenix. Who among you shall demonstrate?”

“You’ve already severed my three blossoms of Way-Flowers, obtaining everything—now you feign innocence…” Lunar Chan shook her head.

“Lunar Chan, don’t scheme in your heart. As a prisoner, learn your lesson,” the Demoness warned. From her clean palm, the stone bead glowed—preparing to unleash. “You’ve hidden your seals within your foundational essence. Don’t force me to extract them by force.”

Suddenly, countless glyphs erupted all around, dense and thick, enveloping the void. Beyond this formation, layer upon layer of divine arrays—one to five layers deep—sealed the place tightly.

“Which of you two shall teach me the secret techniques?” Shi Hao asked calmly.
