Chapter 1966: Roaming the Foreign Lands

Kun Di led the charge ahead, with Shi Hao in relentless pursuit, their battle shaking the heavens!

Between them, beams of Immortal King energy boiled, surges of indestructible aura raged, and drops of their essence blood streaked across the sky, extinguishing suns, moons, and stars in their wake. The sheer terror of their clash was beyond comprehension.

A city loomed ahead—one of the gateways to the Foreign Realm. Kun Di stormed straight in, with Shi Hao hot on his heels, following him into the alien domain. Creatures within the city tried to intercept, but how could those who were not Kings hope to stop them?

*Thud! Thud! Thud!*

Every being that dared attack Shi Hao was instantly pulverized, crushed by the aura of an Immortal King, reduced to clouds of blood mist. They were not even in the same league.

“Kun Di, your life is mine!” Shi Hao roared, his eyes bloodshot, his hair wild and disheveled, his body dripping with blood.

*Boom!*

Swift as lightning, with each step he took, entire starfields seemed to retreat behind him. He clenched his fist and struck forward, aiming straight for the back of Kun Di’s skull, intent on annihilating his primordial spirit.

At their level, attacking the primordial spirit was the most effective method. To truly erase an opponent, one had to sever their divine essence!

Along the way, countless stars plummeted from the heavens, shaken loose by the mere flick of Shi Hao’s sleeves—a sight both awe-inspiring and terrifying.

*Roar!*

Kun Di bellowed, spinning around with one hand forming a divine seal and the other wielding the Immortal-Smelting Pot, launching a devastating strike toward Shi Hao.

Instantly, the battlefield was awash with countless beams of light and towering waves of radiant mist—the unleashed power of an Immortal King, his essence blood burning at its peak, unleashing unparalleled might.

Shi Hao was sent reeling, a trickle of blood escaping his lips. Even with his mastery of the Indestructible Scripture, he had still been wounded in a battle of this magnitude.

One could only imagine the fate of any other Immortal King who dared step into this fray—their flesh would have been shattered beyond recognition. Kun Di, wielding the Immortal-Smelting Pot, exuded an invincible aura.

*Splat!*

But Kun Di was not unscathed. One of his arms twisted grotesquely, shattered by Shi Hao’s fist strike, flesh torn and white bone exposed.

Moreover, his chest had been pierced clean through by Shi Hao’s sword-finger technique, crimson light spilling from his heart.

“Kill!”

Their battle raged on, blood splattering across the cosmos, one great star after another dimming forever, vanishing from existence.

Wherever the blood of an Immortal King or an Indestructible King fell, destruction was inevitable. The entire starfield was already in ruins.

The Indestructible King who ruled this universe was roused, letting out a furious roar as he joined the fray.

“Senior Kun Di, I shall aid you!”

Understanding the situation, this Indestructible King lunged into the fight.

His address alone revealed Kun Di’s exalted status in the Foreign Realm. Even among fellow Indestructible Kings, most would address each other as equals, yet he still referred to Kun Di as “senior.”

*Hum!*

The Great Luo Sword Embryo trembled, emitting a blinding radiance accompanied by a rain of light. Figures of celestial beings soared, while others sat atop coffins. A sea of blood flooded over a massive tomb, staining it crimson as the graveyard sank into darkness.

*Boom!*

The Indestructible King was wounded, sent flying backward with a mouthful of blood from Shi Hao’s peerless sword strike.

Horror gripped him—just how strong was Huang? He couldn’t even fathom it.

Shi Hao’s focus remained solely on Kun Di. His devastating strike had been aimed primarily at the master of the Immortal-Smelting Pot, and now the two were locked in mortal combat once more.

*Boom!*

This time, the Immortal-Smelting Pot expanded, towering like the primordial First Mountain as it descended, its pressure suffocating.

Even Shi Hao’s divine physique trembled under the weight, his steps unsteady. He slowed, as though bearing the weight of all the stars and the entire cosmos on his shoulders.

The pressure was unbearable!

“Kill!”

Yet he roared back, unleashing his divine abilities. All six of his secret realms blazed simultaneously, merging into his supreme technique.

For an instant, the phantom of a Kun Peng’s wings unfurled behind him, while the flames of a True Phoenix’s rebirth surged around him. Bathed in countless rays of light, he broke free.

With a deafening crash, Shi Hao’s fist sent the Immortal-Smelting Pot flying, smashing through the starfield and out of this cosmic region.

*Thud!*

Kun Di’s palm struck—swift, precise, merciless. His silver pupils split into crosses, tearing through the void as his right hand, sharp as a blade, sliced toward Shi Hao’s waist.

He sought to bisect Shi Hao, crippling his combat power.

*Hum!*

Symbols flared across Shi Hao’s flesh—the indestructible laws of the Great Dao. His body was terrifyingly resilient.

Though a bloody gash opened, his flesh erupted with blinding radiance, resisting the destructive force of the strike.

Shi Hao’s body healed at an astonishing rate, the natural manifestation of his indestructibility. Kun Di was sent flying backward from the recoil.

At the same time, Shi Hao’s fist, peerless in its might, punched through Kun Di’s chest, leaving a gaping hole. His silver-crimson heart was torn asunder.

*Hum!*

The Great Luo Sword Embryo shot forth like a celestial river, cleaving the cosmos with its unparalleled might.

Kun Di grunted, blood spraying as he clutched his throat, retreating at lightning speed. His pupils contracted, his expression icy.

His head had nearly been severed—the speed of the Great Luo Sword Embryo was unmatched, capable of piercing all things!

The sword was wielded by the tiny figure within the halo of immortal light above Shi Hao’s head, a weapon to slay demons, immortals, and all living things.

The near-decapitation seemed to deeply unsettle Kun Di. In all his countless eons of existence, how many had ever wounded him so grievously? His silver eyes burned with cold fury.

“Greatest butcher in history, die now!” Shi Hao bellowed, his assault growing even fiercer. Immortal King beams surrounded him, tearing through the universe as he sought to slaughter Kun Di where he stood.

He thought of the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths—how many lives had been lost beneath the iron hooves of the Foreign Realm? How many innocents had been reduced to blood and bone?

Countless had resisted, leaving behind tragic, mournful tales.

The Imperial Pass—those elders, those fearless commanders, charging forward one after another, their blood staining the borderlands.

The Primordial Imperial City, burning as it fell, the descendants of the Seven Kings of the Borderlands nearly wiped out!

Now, even the Imperial Pass was gone, razed to the ground. The Nine Heavens and Ten Earths lay in ruins, shattered beyond recognition.

*Boom!*

The ferocity of their battle spread far and wide. The nearby Indestructible King paled, realizing that even his assistance was insufficient to turn the tide.

*Splat!*

Kun Di, drenched in blood, nearly bisected this time, turned and fled, resolved not to engage in this bloody duel any longer.

How could such a battle escape the notice of other powerhouses?

One after another, Indestructible Kings awoke from their slumber, their gazes turning toward the conflict. Some took action.

Yet Shi Hao seemed to have lost all restraint, refusing to relent as he chased Kun Di, determined to slay this ancient foe.

At this moment, the heroes of the Foreign Realm were truly stunned. Who was Kun Di? The undisputed top expert of their realm—yet he had been defeated by Huang?

“Brat, you go too far! Do you truly believe you can sever my soul today?” Kun Di snarled, his speed unmatched as he fled to the deepest reaches of his realm.

Along the way, they passed through one cosmic domain after another, each ruled by other Indestructible Kings.

Shi Hao’s hair streamed behind him like golden flames, his body wreathed in blazing radiance, as though forged from divine gold—a sight of terrifying majesty.

His divine body was unbreakable, smashing through the formations of Indestructible Kings as he charged forward, unstoppable.

*Swoosh!*

Finally, Kun Di ceased his retreat, landing upon an indestructible expanse of earth. He whirled around, fixing Shi Hao with a cold glare.

This was an ancient land floating in the cosmos, unyielding and eternal.

Ahead stood a temple, glowing with a soft golden light, exuding sacredness amidst a rain of light, casting an aura of profound tranquility.

It seemed capable of dissolving all worldly strife, erasing the killing intent of the heavens.

Here, peace and harmony reigned, both sacred and eerie—an indescribable sensation.

The Foreign Realm, in its quest for that fabled seed, had been willing to annihilate the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths, slaughtering countless lives. Which Indestructible King did not have bloodstained hands?

Yet here, in this place, there was such serenity, such purity—enough to make one abandon all hostility.

But who was Shi Hao? A supreme Immortal King, unmatched in his era!

After a brief moment of distraction, his expression turned icy once more. No external force could sway his resolve.

Kun Di’s face darkened. “Your death is at hand. You dared invade our realm once before—today, you shall perish without a grave!”

“Old fool, with your status, you would never flee so easily. You’ve dominated past and present, rarely meeting your match. I followed you here to see what tricks you have left!” Shi Hao replied calmly.

“Young man, such arrogance, such audacity—to charge in alone like this. You are indeed a ruthless one,” Kun Di sneered.

Around them, figures emerged—not one, but multiple Indestructible Kings, their expressions cold as they moved to encircle and slay Huang.

Yet Shi Hao ignored them, his gaze fixed on the temple. He sensed something amiss—a lurking danger.

“Bold indeed!” one Indestructible King barked.

“Your realm is not as invincible as you believe. The Willow Deity once carved a path through here—what of it?” Shi Hao scoffed.

He had reason for confidence. Having tempered himself in the Boundary Sea, witnessing life and death, observing the struggles of Immortal Kings, his insights had deepened, his power grown.

Invading the Foreign Realm was perilous, but he was certain he could escape if needed.

He had come to make a statement—to claim another Indestructible King’s head!

“That willow tree only ran rampant because it never faced me!” Kun Di spat.

“Today, I face you—yet you fled all the way back here, didn’t you?” Shi Hao laughed.

Kun Di’s face twisted. He hadn’t truly been fleeing—he had lured Shi Hao here for a reason. Yet now, it seemed he had indeed been routed.

“Senior Kun Di seeks to annihilate your soul—do not grow arrogant!” another Indestructible King shouted.

In the distance, space split as a golden spear, millions of miles long, thrust downward—An Lan had arrived.

Yu Tuo also struck from across the stars.

Kings were gathering!

“All of you, fall back!” Kun Di commanded. He did not call for a joint assault, and the others tacitly held back after a brief engagement.

They spread out, encircling Shi Hao.

By now, nine Indestructible Kings had arrived!

Kun Di waited no longer. Retreating to the golden temple’s side, he began chanting an ancient incantation. The other Kings paled, stepping back once more.

*Boom!*

A terrifying power erupted. A colossal shadow surged from the temple, towering over the land, filling the cosmos.

Shi Hao’s eyes narrowed. He had seen this shadow before!

Long ago, Chi Wang had stood atop the River of Time, gazing down upon eternity, poised to strike. It was then that the woman in white had intervened, battling him.

During that clash, Chi Wang’s avatar had been wounded, summoning a monstrous shadow to resist her.

Shi Hao was certain—this was the same entity!
