The metallic sheen was cold, and the area was eerily quiet, filled with metal blocks and devoid of human presence—only Shi Hao and Qing Yi had arrived here.
*Clang!*
Suddenly, the sound of a sword’s hum echoed, triggered by their intrusion into this region.
The Five Elements Continent naturally abounded in metal, especially here, where even the ground was entirely metallic, with no soil or water in sight—just a chilling, desolate expanse.
Ahead, sword energy soared into the heavens, its height immeasurable, causing their skin to sting as if a divine blade were slashing toward them.
“Hmm, this place might hold a supreme treasure—perhaps even an immortal sword buried beneath,” Shi Hao mused.
Several days had passed since their arrival. From what they had learned, over a dozen people had already found Dao Seeds, all related to the Five Elements. This continent indeed held great opportunities.
Unfortunately, up until now, Shi Hao and Qing Yi had found nothing—until today, when they sensed something unusual and discovered this peculiar place.
After traveling dozens of miles, a vast lake came into view. The sword energy was rising from its depths, radiant and razor-sharp, striking awe into their hearts.
Moreover, they felt an intense heat, and the air above the lake was distorted from the extreme temperatures below, warping the very fabric of space.
“This lake… it’s molten metal!” Qing Yi exclaimed in shock.
Just how high was the temperature here? The liquid in the lake was translucent, shimmering with metallic luster, thick waves of metallic essence surging within, carrying both scorching heat and a deadly intent.
Streaks of divine light flickered within, with numerous divine materials melted into the liquid—this was no ordinary lake.
A lake of molten metal!
“Our opportunity has arrived. If there’s no immortal sword here, there must at least be a metal-attribute Dao Seed!” Shi Hao declared.
While single-element Dao Seeds were still incredibly rare, they weren’t as tempting to him—he sought the strongest seed possible.
However, such a seed could still be collected and traded for treasures, divine medicines, or techniques. Once taken outside, it would undoubtedly be worth a fortune.
“Every Dao Seed is a fruit of the Great Dao, embodying different laws. This one is exceptionally rare, nurtured over millions of years in this metal lake—it must have reached an extraordinary level,” Qing Yi said.
“If you like it, I can retrieve it for you,” Shi Hao offered.
*Whoosh!*
Shi Hao struck, unleashing the Kun Peng Treasure Technique. His left hand turned pitch-black, exuding a frigid Yin energy, and a massive black fish materialized before plunging into the molten lake with a tremendous splash.
*Hiss!*
Where the molten metal splashed onto the shore, white smoke billowed, accompanied by sharp sizzling sounds.
The black Kun fish swayed its massive body, releasing Yin energy so potent it seemed capable of freezing the entire lake—a blatant provocation.
*Boom!*
The lake erupted, rippling violently as mysterious creatures emerged from its depths.
“Oh? This is no ordinary place. The seed here has guardians—meaning it must be extraordinary indeed.”
A metallic creature, formed from the liquid, rapidly took the shape of a humanoid figure, radiating dazzling light.
*Clang!*
Without hesitation, Shi Hao flicked his wrist, releasing a sword beam. At his current level—invincible among Heavenly Deities—even a casual strike was a devastating attack.
The metallic figure collapsed instantly, its head severed and shattered by the single slash. A mere sword beam had slain a terrifying metallic deity.
*Splash!*
From the lake, metallic light flashed as over a dozen more metallic creatures surged forth—Suanni, Vermilion Birds, Three-Eyed Lions, and more.
*Crack!*
Shi Hao raised his hand, lightning crackling between his five fingers, erupting into blinding sparks before exploding into a storm of thunder.
The result was catastrophic. Though the creatures were powerful, rivaling Heavenly Deities, they stood no chance.
*Bang!*
Almost instantly, they were all obliterated, unable to withstand even a moment of resistance.
In the blink of an eye, the lake returned to stillness, with only the lingering heat remaining.
*Splash!*
The black fish flicked its tail, stirring monstrous waves and churning the molten lake into a frenzy.
This was Shi Hao manipulating the Kun Peng Seal, the Yin-energy fish scouring the lake for the metal-attribute seed.
*Whoosh!*
A streak of light shot through the air—a small cauldron breaking free and attempting to escape.
The black fish transformed, its tail morphing into the wings of a divine bird, stretching dozens of miles wide as it burst from the water, blotting out the sky.
*Clang!*
The small cauldron struggled violently, striking the bird’s beak in a desperate bid to flee.
But the Peng was terrifying. Its beak glowed as it clamped onto the cauldron, diving toward the ground and shrinking rapidly before landing in a young man’s palm.
The Peng vanished, leaving only the small metallic cauldron behind.
When Shi Hao lifted the lid, the cauldron melted into liquid metal and disappeared, leaving behind a transparent, diamond-shaped crystal in his palm—a solidified metal essence.
“A Dao Seed of metal—and a supreme-grade one at that!” Qing Yi marveled.
This seed was incredibly rare, covered in natural divine patterns and densely packed symbols. Fusing with it would grant mastery over metal-attribute power.
If allowed to evolve further, it could become the ultimate metal seed—already nearing perfection.
“If you like it, it’s yours!” Shi Hao tossed it to Qing Yi without hesitation.
At that moment, a blue moon manifested above her head, casting soft moonlight that ensnared the seed. Metallic essence surged forth, all absorbed by the blue moon.
Finally, with a *crack*, the priceless seed shattered into worthless fragments, falling to the ground.
“Just like that… it’s destroyed?” Shi Hao was dumbfounded. This seed could have been traded for legendary treasures, yet it was wasted in an instant.
“I feel a surge of vitality within the Blue Moon!” Qing Yi said, her entire body tingling as if she had consumed a divine fruit.
The Blue Moon dimmed and slowly faded.
“That Blue Moon is your immortal seed—it can devour other Dao Seeds, rivaling even the World Tree Sapling or Five Elements Seeds!” Shi Hao realized, stunned.
Now he was genuinely unsettled. Could Qing Yi truly be the reincarnation of the Blue Moon Fairy from the previous era? The thought made his heart race.
“What are you staring at? Don’t get any ideas—I won’t be leaving any ‘legacy’ with you!” Qing Yi blushed slightly.
“Of course—only the strongest bloodline must be preserved!” Shi Hao muttered without thinking.
Suddenly, a deep, oppressive horn blast echoed across the land—a secret treasure from the Heavenly Deity Academy, its sound shaking the heavens.
“Something’s happened. We need to go,” Shi Hao said. The elders were summoning all students.
Everyone who heard the call flew toward the same destination.
By the time Shi Hao and Qing Yi arrived, many had already gathered. The elders stood solemnly before an ancient stele.
A colossal stone tablet stood there, towering into the clouds, dwarfing even the ancient divine mountains in grandeur.
Most importantly, it radiated five-colored divine light, suffused with the essence of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.
This was a Five Elements Stone, refined into a stele—a rare divine material.
The elders had summoned them to reveal one thing: many such steles existed on this continent, all bearing the same inscription.
“Five Fiends Seal the Heavenly Seed.”
These few words sent shockwaves through the crowd.
“Someone used five fiends to seal a Heavenly Seed. In ancient times, many sought it but found nothing. However, some deduced its approximate locations.”
The terms “Five Fiends” and “Heavenly Seed” sent their minds reeling.
“The ‘Five Fiends’ likely refer to the Five Elements, while the ‘Heavenly Seed’ must be an unparalleled supreme seed—nothing else would warrant such a title.”
The elders then sketched a map of the Five Elements Continent in the air, pointing to several locations where the true Heavenly Seed might be buried.
“Is everyone here? We’ll search each location one by one. Move out now!” the Fourth Elder commanded.
With this new discovery, they were determined to find the Heavenly Seed.
In their eyes, the Heavenly Seed was likely the Five Elements Seed—though an even more astonishing possibility existed: that the Five Elements Seed was the Five Fiends, and the Heavenly Seed was something else entirely!
Everyone boarded the silver battleship as the elders retrieved a bone altar, channeling their power to activate it and set coordinates.
*Whoosh!*
A gale erupted, mist and light swirling as fragments of time danced in the distorted space.
In a flash, the silver battleship vanished, traversing the void toward its destination.
After an indeterminate amount of time, the ship shuddered, arriving amidst a mountain range where Five Elements energy surged like smoke into the sky.
“This place is truly extraordinary!” The group disembarked, finding themselves surrounded by volcanoes, each spewing elemental energy like smoke.
The central volcano stood above all—a sovereign among mountains, exuding not just one but multiple elemental auras: fire, water, wood, and more.
“Could this be where the perfect Five Elements Seed lies?” Many exchanged glances—this had been too smooth a journey.
“Go seek your fortunes,” the Second Elder said, as he and the other elders began their own exploration.
Everyone scattered. Shi Hao grabbed Qing Yi, transforming into a massive Peng with a sweep of his wings, darting toward the central volcano.
Yet, just as they ascended, an oppressive force descended from beyond the heavens, chilling his soul.
A terrifying aura blanketed the land. Shi Hao looked up to see an ancient ship, wreathed in immortal mist, descending with cold intent—straight toward the volcano’s mouth.
*Whoosh!*
Shi Hao banked sharply, evading with Qing Yi in tow—he had no intention of being crushed beneath that mysterious vessel.
“That’s… an ancient ship? Why is it shrouded in immortal energy?!” Many gasped in shock.
The elders paled at the sight of the ship.
As the vessel landed, its divine might shook the heavens.
“Hmm, a Kun Peng. Perfect for roasting as a snack,” a lazy voice drawled from the ship as several young figures emerged.
One of them nocked an arrow, aiming straight at Shi Hao’s transformed Peng form!
