Lowering his head to gaze upon the pale-skinned beautiful woman beneath him, He Meng’s face revealed a lewd smile. With a big hand, he tightly gripped the two soft mounds upon her chest, applying a little pressure. Instantly under his force, the woman’s waist, like a female cat, softly arched upward as she let out a wanton moan. That soft and seductive sound sent his heart pounding with a tingly sensation. Clasping her waist tighter, He Meng drove his hips in wild motions, until moments later both their nude bodies stiffened together. With his head thrown back, a rush of immense pleasure flooded through He Meng, and a long sigh exited his mouth as his previously taut body relaxed softly.
Just as He Meng’s body quivered deliciously with the after-effects enjoyment, his hardened instincts, forged through years of life or death struggles in perilous terrain, suddenly jolted him aware. Like lightning, his skin prickled with tension and wary instinct swept across his mind. In swift reflex, he grabbed the nearby blankets and hurled backwards through sheer instinct. A sharp “chilà” pierced the air, as a glimmering cold blade readily cleaves the blanket in two; instantly thereafter, a silent shadow leaped in through the flap and into the tent, its sword’s metallic edge flashing deathly and merciless toward He Meng’s throat! Taken by sudden ambush, He Meng’s countenance greatly altered, as, barely slipping out of death’s way he clumsily rolled aside along the bed.
Revealing no hesitation after that failed strike, the sword swiftly sliced sideways, a glimmer of death speeding past the fire within that tent before chasing the dodging He Meng. Across his chest it carved merely the lightest scratch – yet blood tricked all the better for surprise.
“Aaaa-!” Witness the intruded dark silhouette entering abruptly within the tent, the female figure on the bed immediately cast away her shamefulness and panic screamed out fearfully.
Slightly curling fingers forward, Xiao Yan did not even bother to turn around but sent flying forward the charcoal he just sucked into grip—prompted with a light yet muffled cracking tone the suffocating scream behind was cut short as suddenly as it begun.
“Who in the world are you? Why would you dare assassinate me!? Surely you understand I am no one less than the Third Captain of the Wolf’s Head Mercenary Group!!”—Hesitation intermingled with rage upon He Meng’s changing face as swiftly retreated with his hoarse cry forward.
“The fact IS precisely just this—that’s EXACTLLY what leads us to kill you.” Said the shadow calmly while lifting his face. Revealing to He Meng’s sight suddenly the face of youth’s pure yet sharp contours—a youthful countenance.
“Huh? Xiao Yan?!” The young figure rendered He Meng briefly frozen, before instantly transferring the attention directly onto the gigantic black measuring stick on the stranger’s back. Upon sight the pupils in his eyes constricted, and immediately following with a cold shout.
“Really honored… That I would be able to earn yourself, Third Captain’s, notice!” Xiao Yan smiled with the subtlest hint, palms subtly sunken and then abruptly slammed against the hilt midair sword. Suddenly, the previously suspended blade, like a bolt from nowhere, shot towards He Meng at lightning speed!
So sudden and sharp flew his counter that even with He Menghasty reflex, it couldn’t fully evade. Fresh blood trickled on his pale cheek, the wound’s sting clear evidence to Xiao Yan’s success.
Tracing his tongue to lap away flowing crimson trailing down his cheek, deep within He Meng’s eyes, murder surged through and a sinister laugh rumbled forth:
“Now, that certainly does show considerable guts. Having the courage to strike solo against me… Though maybe better for us that you die here, rather than drag you into our hunt through every cave and crevice mountain ranges.”
Saying so, he twisted his neck slightly and the dim aura of fighting spirit emerged upon the skin’s surface. Fingers tightening mercilessly about iron fists, bone upon bone producing cracking sounds within his knuckles.
Observing the now combative posture radiating off He Meng’s presence, Xiao Yan simply shrugged apathetically. Unwilling to admit, yet He Meng’s sensitivity to danger did surpass anything he anticipated. So indeed, all thoughts of ambush vanished.
Well… It hadn’t made him overly concerned, for stealth attack only had intended on sparing his labor—seeing such a method dashed from the start, Xiao Yan decided he won’t mind simply fighting his way through fully either. After all those intense training months, Xiao Yan desperately needed battle to validate how far he had come strength-wise, didn’t he?
His body gave a small twist; popping bones followed suit as they produced a sound no fainter than those from He Meng just prior. Palm stretching outward then tightening, Xiao Yan began drawing together into knuckles, yellow fighting spirit power accumulating swiftly and flowing up.
“Hey lad—thinking of capturing prey on me, choosing now for your worst stupidity move ever!”
Drawing mouth edges broadly up towards an almost blood-fueled grinning shape, an almost eerie chill radiates in He Meng’s voice as he stances, feet planting into fierce downward stomp upon ground beneath.
Rapidly, with the ferocity mirroring a monstrous beast, He Meng charged directly forward full-speed at Xiao Yi in the form of unstoppable force.
Eyes unbothered observing He Meng charging like an armored titan releasing violent aura, Xiao Yan quietly raising hands upwards.
In that blink—palms shot swiftly open, uttering: “GET… BACK!”
Upon Xiao Yan’s yell breaking the tent’s confines, suddenly fierce wind burst from the open palms with tremendous might, smashing solidly against charging bulk that He Meng represented directly head on.
With a heavy “PENGG!” sound echoing in the tent—He Meng’s previous blood-lusting expression slightly locked up while his body previously charging was thrown violently backward by the sheer force. Feet dragging harsh into the dirt flooring as they attempted stopping; eventually a several feet trench etched deeply, before finally slowing down to stop.
“You got some moves there, Kid!” A shade of seriousness emerging upon He Meng face expression as exhaling slowly he begins tapping his fist lightly across chest skin. Initially bronze toned complexion slowly transformed more pale.
“I’ve dedicated towards mastering Rock-techniques; among elements the ultimate in pure defense… You? Simply lacks any means at the moment able to penetrate my guard—Hah!”
Another sinister chuckling from beneath, tightening his grip around already bone-whitened fists caused pale color rising along even the extended fore-arm this instance. Stoming his heavy feet into the ground beneath again; the acceleration He Meng demonstrated compared to previously increased sharply—whistle like roaring winds trailing as it pushed the tent’s fabric like taut canvas.
Expression calmly unmoved by this sudden pressure wind, Xiao Yan shifted the weight upon his stance slight sideways; immediately the large fists previously hurtling by barely grazed through his hair passing just besides ears—almost tangible with menace!
Feet lightly swiping across, Xiao Yan became almost ghosting in movement appearing swiftly behind He Meng within a blink—an arm now crackling with energy swinging with all power into neck spine bone of opponent.
“DONG—” resounded the contact… but unlike flesh and blood impact—this emitted something very similar to the resonating echo upon metallic bell—or hard rock.
Furrowing brows together at this strange acoustics produced upon striking He Meng’s body, Xiao Yan withdrew instantly while his lightning-fast reflex allowing a flurry storm of blows to fly; fists, elbows; every strike concentrated at precise same location over and over across the tent’s interior echoed again like stone struck repeatedly.
“Back you nuisance insect…! Hah… As expected, couldn’t possibly scratch through defense of rock technique I possess!” His right foot swung violently, filled fully with explosive energy as He Meng’s cold voice laughed out at same time. He kicked viciously rearward.
Xiao Yan’s double-palm quickly curled forward meeting his foot. But immediately was met with immense impact force, enough violently throwing back Xiao Yan.
“Indeed… Among most powerful physical forms out there, Rock Techniques deserve that reputation… This strength he holds…”
Xiao Yan flipped once mid air and smoothly landed firm upon landing while slightly shaking his own slightly sore limbs inwardly with astonishment.
“Thinking such meager skill alone might oppose Wolf’s Head Mercennial ranks? You’re simply suicidal!!” Brushing a hand absentmindedly upon back-dirt he’d just taken in combat—He Meng roared viciously as expression turned more savage. “I ain’t here to indulge child’s game! Ending YOU right now—avoiding more interruption to my pleasantness…”
Fists stretching outward then clenching again. His legs slightly tensing outward stance while his hair on his head even seemed now to rise stiff and straight upward. Faint whitened fighting spirit gleammed visibly within his pupils’ reflections now as from between chattering teeth a white puffing breathed sharply exhaled.
Now suddenly, Xiao Yan could not but observe He Meng arms and legs becoming somehow enlarged. White-tinted and bulging muscles rolled and surged beneath now pale skin; violent strength seemed now accumulating within every twitch.
“Begging an end?… Here ya go, lad.”
Feeling surging energies through being, He Meng bared his teeth at Xiao Yan—showing rows of sharp white teeth filled of savage threat.
Seeing the suddenly surged might of power radiating forth from He Meng this instant, Xiao Yan’s facial expression immediately tensed and focused fully, palm gathering fighting spirit again while within his core muscles prepared for explosion power.
As his energies quickly peaked suddenly to utmost state, He Meng already launched forth again forward feet thunderously crashing against the ground causing speed to rival if not actually overtake Xiao Yan himself.
In a split second his figure already vanished ahead—an image reemerged instantly before Xiao Yan; face full cruel amusement, an outsized powerful punch bearing deadly pressure screamed right for Xiao Yan’s head—intent to utterly shatter entirely.
The approaching violent aura above prompted a shift through facial expression as Xiao Yan; suddenly, unleashed an instant pulse of explosive air through palms to generate thrust. Immediately the force caused him to retreat sharply backwards.
“You run? Don’t even think!” With a mocking voice, He Meng smirked at seeing fleeing form and took steps forward to close distance without slightest delay—suddenly lunging at Xiao Yan like a prowling panther snapping shut upon prey.
Twisting the torso slightly, he bent slightly then burst forwards in blink of an eye.
“Die!!” He Meng roared again as he threw forth another brutal strike downward.
As retreat options dwindler, creasing brows tighter Xiao yan felt himself forced into meeting attack head on. Immediately his fighting auras surged within his entire form, fists slamming powerfully forward.
With an extremely thick impact, a boom resonated all throughout the confined area within the tent; beneath where collision took place upon the ground, earth shook so violently as to send flying all around a heavy sheet of flying yellow dust layer upon dust.
“You… actually dare clash head long at strength—get yourself obliterated!!”
Eyes alight upon seeing resistance he met head-to-toe strength, He Meng grinned savagely now pouring all fighting spirits within body into the energy paths and channels directing it all toward a climactic crushing force.
“Hmmph…” At receiving the immense impact, face Xiao Yan slightly paled immediately, his suppressed grunt vibrating from low in throat—his body staggered back violently through a few long steps—only managing to halt upon reaching wall boundary inside tent.
“Never did expect you would survive a direct impact clash against me… So then you also cultivate the body’s might huh?!”
Witnessing Xiao Yan seemed to take nothing more serious injury despite that collision assault, He Meng voice revealed astonishment, for those who cultivated body techniques always bore sufferings much harsh even compared to energy-based users—and looking toward Xiao Yan’s youthful smooth skin, it became hard even imagining him enduring that training.
“Heh, seems even breaking the chains, fighting against an Eight-star Dou Zhe still proves a little challenging after all…”
Rubbing slowly upon slightly tight chest, Xiao Yan murmured thoughtfully aloud.
Hearing his murmured musing prompted He Meng frown narrowing brow briefly in turn; though his mouth instead curling mock sneering.
Shaking his head lightly with own thoughts as he mused, Xiao Yan turned to retrieve the mysterious heavy stick at his back then tossed it away toward nearby area with little care or thought for it.
With heavy thundrous “PAN–!” sound as object connected stone below—the sheer weight of Xuan Zhong’s impact instantly crushed that sturdy rock entirely into fine powder.
Eyes transfixed to the resulting pile of whiteness that once stood defiant before, He Meng pupils constricted sharply now reduced to pin-prick smallness… Shock slowly dawning across entire soul.
“…Impossible… He’s actually carried weight equal to that… while actively duelling myself!??”
With a chill breath escaping, He Meng stared back again towards that lad now standing with more wariness… and dread thickly mixing inside.
Completely disinterested towards expressions upon his opponent’s face, Xiao Yan calmly shook his limbs loose.
In instant burst thereafter his internal Dou Qi surged mightily, making Xiao Yan felt like an unstoppable force.
“My apologies however,” He then began with calm, lips curving subtly in what might be an apologetic smile, “…I’ve treated your body as my test stone just before.”
Suddenly his body became just but a blurry shadow. As swiftly his voice echoed near opponent’s ear before vanishing once—barely allowing a split second time to think:
“That’s all, isn’t it—…The Third Captain of Wolf’s Head Mercennial Group?”
